It's been many years since I've gotten my nails done. I did some research and decided to try this place out. Scheduling a 10:30 appointment, I came in around 10:25 and had to unfortunately wait until after 11 to be seen. Saturday mornings are a busy time. The wait was the only downfall especially since I had to be somewhere at 11:45. Other than that, my nail tech, Darlene, was such a sweetheart and did a great job with my dipped nails. I didn't want any tips- I just asked her to shape up my short crooked nails lol. She was clean and thorough and we had great conversation. I highly suggest Darlene. --unfortunately, I am allergic to the acrylic in the dipped nails. I ended up soaking off the nails the following day. :-( read more

Who is racist and can not take negative feedback from a paying customer. The manager made a scene in front of 2 other customers because I told her I did not like my nails and I do not want to continue services. This was after she said, " You people are just UGHHHH too much." I requested that she fix my nails. She stormed of saying, " This is some shit you see on TMZ" . I was so confused at the low level of customer service I was given from this establishment. The manager called the police on me and lied that I called her out of her name and was very aggressive and even stated they feared for "their life." She pulled out her camera on me and recorded and took pictures of me stating I better not cancel the pedicure off my card. This was very tacky and classless! Wife and I had are pedicures done 3 days ago the conversations with the techs were great but pedicures were lacking and we were overcharged we asked for the deluxe which was $45 each but some how we were charged $135 and left a $10 tip. My ingrown toe nail was never cut down and after walking out I realized that my nail polish was all around my lining of cuticle and thick Update: Called and the manager seem very unprofessional and gets upset that she even has to speak with anyone. I don't live in Sanford and was there because my kids had a school event. I dropped them off and searched for a nail salon nearby. The gentleman who did my pedicure was sweet, but did a terrible job and I had to go to my regular salon the next day and pay for a new pedicure, my dip manicure was done by a technician that was very sweet. We had a great conversation but she didn't do a very good job. My nails are super thick at the base and on one of them she accidentally broke through the dip and used that pink powder that is used for acrylic nails as a quick fix but I can see it through the dip powder. The staff was great but unfortunately they did a terrible job with my pedicure and dip manicure. I can't recommend them for that reason. read more

Went for a regular manicure due to my regular nail tech being away for the holidays. I'll never step foot in this salon again. Cindy - nail tech was the absolute worst!! All regular nail polish was extremely thick in texture and each time she used a different regular polish same result (very thick texture). Cindy decided to upsell me to a gel manicure. Tried to find a new place to have my nails done and found this place Outside looked nice Inside was a bit chaotic. I stood there looking around waiting for someone to greet me and what I got was some lady to my left working on a customer yell out to me " what do you want done" I told her and another lady who was just walking around comes up n waits for the one yelling across the room to tell her to work on my nails. Pleasantly surprised with this nail salon. I originally searched Yelp and decided on Lavish Nail Bar for my acrylic fill. The reviews were great, pictures even better, and the fact that they had an Instagram account was an added plus. Upon arrival, I was greeted and told all of the techs were booked and busy, not mad at them lol. I did not want to search too far for another salon and was running low on time. Two doors down, I spot Bellagio Nails and Spa. I was greeted once I walked in, directed to pick my nail color, and told that someone will be right with me as soon as I am ready. The salon seemed clean and was pleasing to the eye. The salon did not have an impressive nail color selection, but I was able to find what I was looking for. My nail tech, Cindy, was personable and kind. She took her time, gave me suggestions, and was patient with me as I worked through how to bring to life the nail vision in my mind. She listened to my wants and objections without once getting sassy, very sweet spirit. We've all been there to where we've left frustrated and defeated from not getting a service we wanted, how we wanted it. It could be something as small as the shape, but if we don't feel listened to, the experience leaves you feeling more stressed than before you arrived. This would've been nice to know ahead of time instead of being surprised at a higher price at the end. Otherwise happy with the service. Pedicure was done by Khiem- they were understaffed and overbooked unfortunately. The pedicure was good. But I had to wait 25 minutes before getting my pedicure started after my acrylics were finished. Had my toddler with me so that wasn't too cool. They kept accepting people even though they were working with limited staff. And nobody likes to turn away money and clients, but unfortunately this is something they should have done since it was encroaching on peoples times and schedules. Going to a nail salon during these times is tough. I mean everyone wants to be pampered but you also don't want to feel unsafe. Bellagio Nails made me feel absolutely safe. Everyone wore masks and they had restrictions on how many people were allowed in the shop at one. They were constantly wiping down highly touched displays and followed safety codes. My nail tech Sabrina was so sweet! Our conversation flowed so easily you would've thought we were friends forever! She took her time doing my nails and made sure that I was happy. She didn't make me feel rushed or even embarrassed if I didn't like a certain color. Sabrina also did my pedicure and she scrubbed my feet so well. I have baby soft feet now, NO LIE! I've gotten my nails done at several places in the Lake Mary area - this by far is the most clean, most inventive, & lovely of all places. I've always gotten my nails done by either Johnny or Michelle. They are both amazing. Even if these guys are not avail their entire staff is epic. The selection of nail polish is outstanding. I'll a big fan of ombré polish - they do it outstanding here. They also have a really neat selection of color changing nail polish which I've loved getting done. The pedicures are great, it really is a treat to relax & have a drink. They have massaging chairs that are super new & clean. Every I'm in the area I always go here. What a remarkable last minute choice to have my nails done. I was actually in the office on the other side of this commercial establishment and my husband suggested to try Bellagio out for a mani and pedi. On a Monday in the middle of the day, I walk in and notice only a few people. Pretty normal on a Monday for any salon; I was greeted by Michelle who assisted me right away. She was very nice and cordial and she took her time with my manicure. Her work was very precise and clean. I haven't had a manicure this good in a very long time. The salon was pretty, I love the light fixtures and the chandeliers. I also enjoyed the set up with the pedicure room in the rear. I wish I would have known about this place before. I chose to try this place based off the Yelp reviews, and the recommendation of two friends. I saw some of the reviews saying that their nails were messy and had to be redone, but I have never considered myself picky so didn't think that would happen to me. Wrong. Let me start with the positives. I walked in on a Saturday and was told a 15 minute wait- perfect. I also found out the owner Michelle would be doing my nails- again, perfect. As I am sitting waiting for my time, I notice the salon. It is nothing short of gorgeous and spacious. Everything seemed super clean and the staff seemed very friendly. They had a ton of samples to look at, and a ton of fun options- glitter, and seemed to be on the up and up with what's trending. I get called to start and my gel is filed off... then she helps someone else... then comes back to fill in the acrylic... the goes back to the other person... then comes back to me and files and shapes... then goes to someone else... then comes back to me to paint. Now, I can appreciate the efficiency as I don't want to spend hours in the nail salon either but at the same time, this is "me" time and I do want to feel pampered. So I show a picture of what I want and I am told "no problem" however it apparently was a problem because what I got was NOTHING, and I repeat, NOTHING like what I asked for. My ombre nails were horrific but because I have a problem hurting anyone's feelings, I paid- $48 and left. $48??? That's at minimum $13 more than every place I have ever gone for a gel fill. And I left nearly in tears. I looked like Jenny from the block meets Courtney Love- NOT ok. I drive away and call the salon and tell the owner that I don't like them and need to come back on Monday to get them fixed. She tells me ok, but it's because the ombre has 3 colors... however, I was told that the picture was no problem- also the picture DOESN'T have three colors (pictures posted will confirm). I hold my review until Monday, last night. I get there and am seen right away- everyone is still really friendly and they start taking off the gel. Another lady walks in to get a correction from Saturday- apparently this is a common problem?! I choose a plain color and Michelle starts painting. She had the idea for glitter and I agree... I have to say that the corrected nails are very clean, well done, spunky and I do like them. However, while I was letting the gel dry, she was defending herself as to why they didn't look the same and arguing that there is red in the picture. I get that the nails wouldn't be the same, but close would have been nice. I also had glitter stuck in the gel and I didn't have any glitter on my nails. I had paint all over my cuticles and skin... Very very messy... so regardless of if it was just my opinion on them matching the picture... They didn't look good at all. I didn't appreciate her need to feel like she should defend her work either. No one would say these nails were worth $48 and that they matched the picture... Now my new nails, sure; which of course, I didn't have to pay more for. At the end of the day, I am happy with my new nails and would have been ok paying the price had they been done this way originally. I wouldn't go back though because they are overpriced and there are many other, more affordable places that do just as good of a job and most times way better. After reading their reviews I kept seeing the name Michelle & saw a pic of some girls nails I wanted to do so I went in with the picture. Although she didn't do what I wanted, I figured I could live with them & also because in all honesty she was a good saleswoman. (Back to the story) When I arrived 2 days later, she seemed quite agitated, it was comical actually. She suggested I wait two weeks to redo them, but after having paid $65 (tip included) Their is no way I am going to be unhappy with them for 2 weeks!! And that's something that anybody who knows anything about money will understand. I put my foot down & she copped a huge attitude telling me there was nothing wrong with the shape of my nails!! OH OK lol idk I paid for them & they didn't even come close to the picture I showed her!! So yea- THEIR WAS SOMETHING WRONG! But then Jonny did my nails but then got them crooked and the 2 gems fell off right when I left the place. I came back in and a lady did my nails horribly. I came back in another time, got them done by Amy and my gel started peeling right when I came home. Update: I'm not satisfied with your services anymore. I came in THREE times to get my nails done right but they always did a horrible job. In reality, everyone else is terrible and Michelle is the only thing that keeps the place having good reviews. I was looking for a new nail salon, and a girl referred me here. I went in and was seen by the nail tech, Phong for a dip manicure. He was super friendly and even helped me pick out a color when I said I wanted to try white for the first time. He did a good job, and everyone was complimenting my nails. I came back today to get them completed again because one of my nails broke and was seen by a different nail tech (Phong wasn't there). Unfortunately, I'm not too satisfied with the job she did. Just a very messy job. The white from the previous job was left over underneath, some nails have bulgy sides from an excess of powder or nail polish top coat, paint left on the side of my nails, and I specially said I wanted coffin but not too thin at the tip and she made the first couple nails the most coffin I have ever gotten. Thankfully, I stopped her before she continued to do that on the rest of them. If you get your nails done, you know coffin is the most unforgiving shape if they mess up. I have long natural nails, and now I have to completely grow out another centimeter of nail to undo the sharp coffin or cut my nails shorter. Not too happy about that because it takes months for me to grow out my nails. :( I just had to stop her, and tell her to fix the shape and filing several times. When you go to a nail salon, you go to relax, not to be on constant look out to make sure your nails look even. Also, I personally dislike how they remove the previous color. Instead of using acetone, aluminum foil, cotton and a glove so you can move your hands, they fill a bowl with acetone and make you leave you alone with your hand in there for 20 minutes. Unable to move your hands and arms, and having the acetone all over your fingers instead of just the nails... not fun. Plus, just awkward staring around since there is no tv, you can't grab your phone, and they get up and leave you so you have no one to talk to. Just a personal opinion. All in all, I'd just try somewhere else if I were you. They have a great, huge salon, but they could clean it and organize it a little so it looks nicer and not so dirty. I always get my nails done at home in Naples, FL. However, it is difficult for me to drive home so often due to me being in college. I found this place on yelp and decided to go. It is the best decision I have ever made. Michelle did my nails and she was AMAZING! I definitely will be coming back soon. I have had my nails done for 3 weeks and no gems have fallen off at all!!! Visiting my sister in the area and was looking for a place to get a mani-pedi; obviously I turned to Yelp! I called ahead to let them know I was coming because I knew it would be near the end of the workday, but they said to come on in. From the moment I came in, it was a great experience. They welcomed me warmly and showed me to the pedicure area. There were a handful of other customers also there. They had a good color selection of both regular and gel polish. The stations and chairs were both clean and stylish - gave it a very modern feel. A husband and wife pair did my toes and fingers. They did a fantastic job - my mom thought I had gotten gel polish, but it was just the regular polish. Johnny was very meticulous at making sure my nails looked perfect! Michelle was very friendly and did a very great job as well. This is a fairly new business (4 months) but so professional and good at what they do! I got the classic manicure and classic pedicure, but it felt comparable to deluxe at many other salons! And a great deal, too! My experience definitely made me wish I lived in this area! The five stars are for the nail tech (really good guy), not really the salon, though it was okay. I just moved to the area and am looking to replace my fav nail salon in winter park. After looking at yelp, it was between this place and Lavish nails. I chose this place because they have massage chairs which I really wanted to sit in. That was the only reason. Pro's: the nail tech was awesome. He spent two hours on me. I got the deluxe mani pedi and he massaged my legs and feet and hands so well. It was the longest anyone has spent massaging me. He also redid the polish on one of my nails after I accidentally bumped it. He didn't grumble or anything. Then he saw a couple nails bubbling, so he redid those nails. It's clear he takes pride in his work and wants to build a clientele. I appreciated him. Also he did everything, even the mani, while I sat in the massage chair! I thought that was especially cool since that's what I had really wanted. He definitely earned a customer. Con's: The salon itself. It's just in need of a drastic makeover. It was dark and dim, with old decor and they played only 80's music videos which became very annoying after a while. In fact it was kind of depressing spending two hours in that dark room with 80's music on. I wish it were brighter and more modern looking with something worth listening/watching. The smell was also way too strong and sweet. I had to wash my clothes when I got home bc I smelled like the salon. I'd go back but only for the nail tech. I am curious about other nail salons in the area.. it just sucks to gamble on nail salons since it can be very pricey. And ultimately it's the tech, not the salon that matters. Worst dip manicure I've ever had. My nails look awful I have to go get them fixed now elsewhere. What a waste of time and money. Michelle rushed through the manicure and was not friendly. Pedicure was awful no massage just a scrub. And I have polish all over my skin. $95 and such a joke! Will never come back here! read more

The bad reviews are real, believe them. Dirty-overbooked salon with poor communication. With an appointment I was there for 2.5 hours for a basic pedicure and 1 color dip. The basic pedicure was $30 lasting 20 minutes with no massage and no attention to detail. The man who did my pedi then tried to take off my old nails but sprayed the remnants all over my clothing and leather bag. I then sat and waited for a nail tech who was very nice but horrible at dip which I'd specified was my main service when I booked. It took her 1 hour 45 minutes to do an uneven mis-shaped bubbly dip set. After 2.5 hours I did not have time to try to have her fix them. So disappointed as I am flying back to California where everything is closed and I can't get them fixed. read more
