I had today male guy who did my pedicure. He don't even cut my cuticle and rushed me because he had regular young lady for filling. I have to say I'm very disappointed. Not a Ben any hi how you doing. Other lady fixed my nails, filed them . So I left after 1.25 min with pedicure. My daughter had amazing Spanish lady don't remember her name but that what you call care and professionalism. This was her first mani pedi and she was so happy. Thanknyou ma'am. NEVER GO HERE.!! A simple eyebrow waxing turn horrible. My eyesbrows were full & beautiful an only needed a lower clean up!! Even the lady told me "you have nice eyes, I'll just clean them up"!!! She then added oil, which went into my right eye. I had to stop her and get it out. She then brushed my eyebrows, it was weird because it felt like powder going on them.! When I checked them, they looked fine. I paid and walked to my car.! I didn't wear make up so when got to the car with my niece, I had to continue to rub my eye due to the oil she got. When I rubbed my face I looked at my eye brow and it was missing in areas an eyebrow should have hair!!!! She literally covered my eyebrows with makeup powder. I walked back in and got a refund. When I opened the door she was standing at the door a looking out the window. She knew for a fact she messed my eyebrows up and didn't wanna take responsibility. I got an infection after they did my pedicure, this had never happened to me in any beauty salon in my life. Idk how they use the instruments, with all the people they have so that this infection has reached my foot. His answer was that my toe had been like this since before NEVER HAPPENED BEFOREThey was pretending it was my fault. I went to get my money back since I had to take medicine to disinfect myself and reduce the infection. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else!!!! read more

I've gotten my nails done before by a younger lady and loved them. HOWEVER, she was busy when I walked in for my appointment so I settled for another older woman. Other than not knowing much English (and getting mad when people can't understand her), she is SO INCREDIBLY RUDE. I showed her a picture of what I wanted to get and she told me she couldn't do it exactly like the picture and I said it was okay as long as I had something similar. I ended up with the ugliest nails I've ever had in my LIFE. They're poorly done, uneven, has glue on the sides of my fingers and are not a true "square" shape like I asked for. She YELLED at me multiple times and was super rude i did not feel welcome. I paid $55 for these horrendous nails. Please do not come here it's not worth it. read more

LaVina Nails is the best place to get your nails and your pedis!!! I will only go there! I have been to plenty of places in and around Orange City, Deltona and Deland. They are very accommodating, friendly, and they get the job done right! I take my 90 year old mother there for her pedis. I usually go to Koi Nails in Sanford but since I was at a doctors appointment next door and had some wait time so I decided to give it a try. I was the only customer in there and it became clear to my very soon why. The only reason I'm giving this place one star is because the nail tech managed to give me a mani and used my preferred nail polish brand. The place was disgustingly filthy and the staff were extremely impersonal and unfriendly. The staff need some serious people skills/customer service training. Not a welcoming or favorable experience in any way. Save your time and money and go to Koi Nails in Sanford. You won't regret it. read more

I hate doing bad reviews but this guy who did my pedi was very rude. As he was cutting my nails i asked him if he can even them out a bit because they were uneven. He went about to tell me my nails were crooked. Rude!! I didnt wanna be rude to him myself so i told him to leave them like that it was fine. As he continued with the pedi i didnt speak a word, i was letting him do his job. At one point i looked down at my toenails and compared them and i noticed how uneven they were but didn't say anything, and the guy told me, with attitude, "if you dont want me to do it i can stop." So i responded to him, "i didnt even say anything." He finished up the pedi but i was very uncomfortable the whole time, and should i add, my nails looked uneven at the end. One foot had shorter nails than the other and some were cut slanted. I will never return here. Worst pedi experience of my life. read more

I love this place! I had tried many other places and they don't come any closer to Viva Nails. They take their time with each costumer, my pedi's are amazing and they do more for your buck. I finally found the nail salon I will continue to go to. The place is clean, easy to get to, and the pedicure is very thorough. He took his time and focused on quality instead of how fast he could finish. Other places barely scrub my feet (yes I am ticklish, but I don't yank my feet back lol), but here they scrubbed my feet very well and the foot massage part was actually a foot massage and not someone just half ass rubbing my feet. The only thing I think would make it better is if they had more diverse and creative designs they could do (limited to flowers and swirls mainly). GREAT prices for the quality of service.
