This was the most amazing and unique experience I've ever had at a nail salon. The. Name of the salon is absolutely fitting. Blanca is such an expert in her craft. I went in for a pedicure expecting her to help me with a pain I had in the side of my big toe. She deep cleaned all of my nails, removing all the dead skin, hang nails, and treated my cuticles. She spent and hour on each foot just doing that. She was so precise with the nail color application. She ended it with a scrub, hot stone massage, and hot lotion massage. If you want to be totally pampered with a lux pedi, this is your place! After calling in last-minute on a Sunday evening, I was pleasantly surprised to hear they would wait for me for a gel pedicure. For $50 ($35 + $15 for gel), the price was very standard but the service was well above average with very meticulous and thorough cuticle care, clean-up, a leg/foot treatment & massage, and a super thorough and intensive callous removal and scrubbing. The facility is one of the cleanest, brightest, and most professional I've been to, and I was given a couple small bottles of water with my service which I appreciated during my spa chair massage. I 100% recommend this place! I came in as a walk in at 7PM and didn't think that I could be accommodated as they close as 8PM. Blanca was sweet enough to tend to me and go through the different kind of nail styles. Worst experience I've ever had. I give a star due to the lady taking me as a walk in. That was the sweetest thing about this experience. Over an hour and a half later I come out with cuts all over my nails. Each time she cut me she just dropped alcohol on it and kept going. Even when I told her I think I should come back another day. Came in for a gel pedicure, I do not believe the lady that assisted me was the owner. Very inexperienced from removing the current gel polish to removing cuticles. Took 1 hour on just one foot, I had to ask her to stop when she was removing the cuticles because it felt like she was tearing them off instead of cutting them, I told her I will be skipping the polish if she could just do the same thing she did on the other foot that would be great. When she worked on my other foot she did it in 15min. She asked me if the other place I go to does the same cleaning she does on my feet. I have been getting pedicures for at least 20 years this is by far the worse experience I have ever had. I understand that it's a new business, but I don't understand leaving an inexperienced nail tech unsupervised. read more
