I returned recently because my other nail salon couldn't get me an appointment. The new staff were nice. They did a great job and the prices are comparable. But after about 8 days, my no chip chipped and the polish started to rise near my cuticles. So I'm not sure if the polish was old or what. But if I need to go back, I'll bring my own polish or look for one with a newer bottle.

There was no wait to get started, however, they did not ask which pedicure I wanted and would have proceeded with just a "Basic". I chose to upgrade from Basic to the Volcano. They really should have asked and provided a list of services so I could have chosen. Instead, I had it pulled up on my phone and had to show them. The pedicure was amazing, tools were clean and opened from a sterile package. I have bad knees and they were pretty swollen and the technician even extended the massage to them which was amazing and made them feel fantastic for the rest of the day!!! Salon is clean, restroom is clean. There was a dirty towel at the front door instead of a runner which was pretty yucky. I will probably go back - my feet and knees feel amazing WIN-WIN!!

The prices are reasonable especially for the quality of work and also being one of the only places in the area that do the dip powder manis. ($40 for the dip mani, I've paid $45+ every where else I've gone) When I get a dip mani done here it will literally last me 3+ weeks until I have to come back from my nails just growing out so long, the nails will still look amazing! I also love the atmosphere of this place. They always play romance movies and love song playlists. It's a very relaxing environment to get your nails done in! My recommendation is to make an appointment far in advance (like more than a couple days in advance or at least when they first open) because I have called the day of a few times and they've been booked. (Especially Friday and Saturday)

Nestled in a stunning, elegant, light, airy, and opulent setting, this salon is poised to become one of the most sought-after nail salons in the south suburbs. My recent visit to Lamia Nail Bar was nothing short of enchanting. As I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted and treated to a delightful hand-crafted beverage of my choice from their thoughtfully curated menu, which accompanied my service. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for the exceptional service I received. After meticulously browsing through hundreds, if not thousands, of nail color options displayed with such care, I finally made my choice. Then, I settled down with one of their skilled nail technicians, who executed an incredible job with my builder gel fill and the nail color/nail art I had selected. Their unwavering attention to detail and dedication to providing a seamless experience were evident in every step of the process. Unlike many salons that rush through services to accommodate a large number of clients, Lamia Nail Bar prioritizes quality and takes the time to ensure that each client leaves feeling pampered and satisfied. What truly distinguishes Lamia Nail Bar is its small, family-owned and operated nature. I wholeheartedly support businesses that prioritize customer satisfaction and community. From the warm, friendly faces that greet you upon entering to the beautiful work they do on your nails, you can't help but feel a sense of joy and contentment. I highly recommend giving Lamia Nail Bar a try. It's not just a nail salon; it's an experience that I'm eager to make a regular part of my routine. I'm even willing to make the 40-minute drive just to visit Lamia Nail Bar!

Julia was my nail tech and I was impressed with the time she took during my pedicure. It was one of the best I've ever had! She was kind and took the time to understand the design I wanted for my nails, frequently checking in to make sure I was okay with the color, design, etc. The salon itself isn't anything especially fancy (the usual massage chairs for pedicures, videos of nail art playing on the TVs) but I was happy with the service. Unfortunately, I paid and tipped for no-chip gel polish, and the manicure AND pedicure both began peeling after less than a week. I can be a bit rough with my hands sometimes, but I've never had a no-chip pedicure peel after less than a few weeks. I'm not sure if this is faulty service, or if I'm just not the type of girl who's cut out for constantly having to deal with the upkeep to have her nails done. While I have nothing bad to say about my experience, it's too expensive for me to return every week or two.
