First time I ever use another salon because I was desperate and had a wedding to attend. I took my mom with me. She got a gel manicure and pedicure and I got a dip manicure and pedicure. Really nice people who work there but Annie who did my nails lacked knowledge on how to successfully complete a dip manicure. I have been getting them done for several years. I always give the benefit of the doubt because I truly believe everyone has their own little twists. Well 2 hours later and $167 for both my mother and I, we go home. Literally within 2 hours my dip cracks on the index finger and thumb and falls off. The next day I call the salon and Annie tells me to come in and she will fix right away. When I go in and show her my nails, she comments that it wasn't so bad and that it must be the color. She only removes top layer of the nail, buffs out rest and dips with new color. Then she goes on to say if they crack again she can't help me. What? Are you serious? Maybe she just doesn't know how to do dip, because they are supposed to last more than a couple of weeks. At my other place it's every 3 1/2 weeks I go in to replace and never a broken nail. At this place, 1st lasted 2 hrs and the second set didn't even last 4 days. Don't let Annie do dip! read more

Cassie is a horrible person! First off she kept hurting me while she was filing my nails with the electric nail file and every time I told her she was hurting me, she would tell me to just look away! Who does that!? Instead of just saying "oh sorry, I will try to be more careful"? Then when she was done filing my old acrylics off, we both see that 2 of nails have fungus, she tells me that we could still put new acrylic fill over them! I was like "no I think it would be best for me to grow them back and let them heal naturally" she still insisted we could put new acrylic fill over them so they would look better! She eventually just did a plain manicure so that my nails could grow back healthy. Then we do my pedicure and instead of finishing the spa cleaning and scrubbing of my feet she decided to paint my toe nails before she was done cleaning and scrubbing my feet. She left the water in the tub and decided to cure my toe nails with the water still in the tub!! I told her that it was dangerous and that it could fall into the water and electricuit us! She argued and said "no that's not going to happen!" I then said it's a possibility though, you should have drained the water before using that cure light! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went in today for dip and pedicure. The lady that did my nails wears a necklace with a black rock in the middle. Don't know her name but she was rude. She yelled at me 3 times to wash my hands with water only. While she was cutting the cutículas she was doing it so fast she cut me 3 times. I was scared she was going to make me bleed. While filing my nails with electric filer, she file my skin 3 times. I kept telling her Ouchhhh, ouch hand she got bothered. She did a terrible job, I don't unseemly they do things in a hurry. Smell refreshed - No heavy chemical smell with carelessness They wear masks and care about ventilation Nails work : Not cheap stuff! This place is so crappy! I got my nails done and it's like they don't know how to properly shape there nails. I tried to tell the girl but she argued with me for 10 mins. She got the acrylic powder was harden above my nail, glue everywhere. I even had to come home and file them on the sides and peel glue off every nail. While she was painting them she had to clean off nail polish off my skin! I didn't know they employed girls with no professional degree in nails. First and last time coming here. I came to get a gel pedicure and the girl half-assed the entire thing. She rushed through the whole process leaving behind polish from my last pedicure and scrubbing my feet for less than 10 seconds each. She tells me "she'll do it for you" & sends me over to Annie . I sit at Annie's chair & continue to let the nail soak.. Annie is being lazy and trying to rush AGAIN she ask for my hand to attempt to take the nail off. She tries to pry the nail off with another nail instead of just letting it soak, I tell her it hurts and to just let it soak but she insist she can get it off. It was hurting extremely bad so I told her let me attempt to take it off myself or let it soak. When I was going to attempt to take it off myself I realized she ripped a piece of my real nail and now I can't let it soak because it burns and I can't take it off because it hurts. So now I'm going to have to wait for my nail to heal before I can even get this nail fixed. I should've went somewhere else to get this nail fixed but I didn't know if they would have the same gel color. It was a mistake coming back here. I will never come back here. One star because I had to leave something. NEVER EVER EVER get your lashes done here. I got my lashes done Friday and they've already started coming out by Monday. When the quality of service started to go down at the nail salon I used to frequent, I decided to venture out and look for a new place. It's been 3 years of nail salon hopping, but I think I've found my new favorite. The Nail Studio (in the Ralph's shopping center) did a really good job on my pedicure. The spa pedicure is $18 ($16 with a coupon if you can find one), and although they were busy, the lady took her time and didn't short cut any step. Some salons may charge extra, but this place includes a sea salt/sugar leg scrub, and the leg massage felt really good. My feet (and legs) haven't felt this good after a pedicure in a long time. I went here by a friends referral. First off let me say if your going for a simple color you're probably OK to go here. If you're looking for a design, nail shape or anything more detailed DO NOT GO HERE! After telling the girl and showing her numerous times what I wanted she kept telling me she could do it. That was not the case. My nails we different shapes and sizes and she couldn't do a simple design. It looks messy with smears everywhere. Hmm okay so let's start of with the greeting. Nothing very different from your usual nail salon. They greet you from their station and then ask " what'd you need, honey?" I let them know and put my name on the list. It was only a 15 min wait so it wasn't too bad. Once they were ready for me they moved me to their pedicure chairs that in reality is about 85% of the reason why I love getting pedis. Their chair was ok. I had to press back on the seat to get a good rub from it. The pedicure itself was okay. The girl who did my pedi (never told me her name. I'm guessing because she hardly knew English) sat there quietly and worked. I attempted to start a conversation with her, but she would only smile and nod. However, she was very meticulous on polishing my toes. Any little mishap she would correct it and continue on to the next toe. My massage was not that good. A little tap tap here and rub there. Nothing awesome like I've had in other places. Overall, I'm happy with my pedicure. Gel Manicure, two words : quick, and clean. Same girl who did my pedi worked on my hand. She cleaned up my cuticles, trimmed down my nails really short ( just like I like them), and polished away. I think she only spent like 10-15 min on the entire process. Am I happy with my nails? Yes Was the customer service great? It was okay. But not the best I've experienced Will I come back? Umm only if I can't find a nearer one to home that is open on Sunday Price? Let's start with how clean the salon is. I am always greeted by Lee who usually does my pedi, but today I sat with Tina. I got the #3 on the menu and #WOW did I fall asleep. Tina was just perfect for me, as I'm just a simple gal. I stand on my feet all day and I needed this massage.
