On a Saturday when no other nail salon would take me Utopia Nails gladly did. I thought Kathy did a great job. I got a pedicure that included all the works minus the volcano powder. The package included paraffin wax, hot stones and 10 minute massage. They made sure they timed it so they don't shorten what is included. I found this place on yelp and figured I would try a new spot. I got there 30 minutes before closing and they were very busy. They were polite and said if I was willing to wait they would still take me after hours. I told Tina I wanted a natural looking french manicure and she did it with a hot gel. I absolutely love my toes! It is super affordable in my opinion, I've been to a couple places that over charge and I got the most expensive package(which included, hot towel,mud mask,hot stones, callus remover, paraffin mask, nail care, and 10 min massage),acrylic,gel,and French tip and it came out to $75 so yeah definitely worth it! And the people are super nice and make you feel comfortable when they are working on you. read more

Coming from LA it has been extremely difficult trying to find a new nail salon out here in the IE area. Let me just say that Utopia nails did not disappoint! I called last minute to see if they had an opening Friday. They told me to go in and they would be able to help me. It is conveniently located on Sierra and Orange, there is street parking but there is also parking behind the building. Kevin did my nails, first time I did gel x and they came out really good. Tina did my pedicure and she did a great job as well. It is a cute little shop, very clean and neat. I would highly recommend coming here if you are in the area. Been coming here for a couple of months now and the service has been consistently great. The services performed are really spa like. They take their time with the pedicures and make sure no step is skipped. The massage is bomb too. I usually get the $47 pedicure which comes with : callous treatment sugar scrub massage mud masque treatment paraffin treatment 10 min massage with hot stones My pedicures also last a while after getting them done here too. They have street parking as well as parking in the back of the shop. Highly recommend this place! read more

This was my first time coming to this place , I gave it a shot considering the good reviews and good ratings but left this place super dissatisfied. I requested gel x nails , to start off I had a man work on my nails he was in a rush as he was working on my nails he didn't cut or clean my cuticles I had to ask him to , I felt like application wasn't great. When I was choosing color I just couldn't find the pink I wanted so I can tell he was getting very frustrated with me as if he just wanted to get the service over with so I left with the color I didn't want , basically I left with glow in the dark nails . I spent 55$ on my set it was the only Place that could take me in on Super Bowl weekend so I wanted to give it a try but will not be coming back read more

I questioned how the amount could be determined without first consulting me, especially since my last visit was a year ago, prices may have changed, and I had questions. The receptionist repeated that I was there for a "repeat," but their definition seemed to go beyond what a customer would reasonably expect. In the past, they also took photos before starting, but this time there was no consultation or photos--just being placed in a room to wait. Overall, the experience felt rushed and lacked the communication and attention to detail I had previously received.

I scheduled a last minute appointment with Claire (my usual esthetician) today. But it turns out she was unavailable and Max was there. I've gotten sugared by her before and wasn't really satisfied with my service as I realized I had a few open cuts / wounds due to the pulling of sensitive, thin skin way down there. So today my service was going well, we were having a great conversation then all of sudden a sugar pull and we both went dead silent for a few minutes. I already knew something went wrong. When we were done I knew I had some cuts down there. When I got home to pee I saw it. My lips looked like it had a big, open, popped pimple in it. And around it was pink and tender, like a cut. This made it difficult to wipe. I would post a picture but due to the area it is at, I am unable to. I would like to speak to a manager regarding this issues because this isn't the first time that's happened to me.

Now the hair: I'm Black, I have curly hair, and I was not prepared for the tugging and pulling during the detangling. At one point a loose hair just stuck to my face and stayed there. We bonded. Then the nail scratching started. As a healthcare worker, I was internally screaming. But I stayed strong. They asked my partner (straight hair) if he wanted styling. Me? They just grabbed the blow dryer and went to town. I don't use heat! Walked in with lucious curls, walked out with a puff ball. No warning, no discussion, round brush chaos was my fate. Overall? I felt relaxed until that blow dryer came out. Then I was just overwhelmed with a side of big fluff. They were extremely sweet though! Might come back. I called to see if shop would still honor the value. I was told they could honor 50%. I appreciate the offer but the family member who gave this to myself and my wife paid full value. The shop has a choice they can either make an exception and maybe we become repeat customers or they can offer 50% and we don't visit. I don't understand how they can't offer full value but I get it. This buisness is tripping over dollars to make Pennie's and that tells me all I need to know about this establishment. Word of advice avoid the Groupon.

Their attention to detail was incredible, you can tell they genuinely care about doing a beautiful job. I originally ended up regretting the color and design I chose, and I was so nervous to say something, but Mia and Sally were beyond kind and understanding. They fixed everything for me with no problem at all and made sure I left happy. They were patient, professional, and so sweet throughout the whole process. I'm so happy with how my nails turned out and so grateful for how kind and accommodating they were. If you're looking for talented nail techs who listen and care, I highly recommend Mia and Sally!
