Not very communicative. I went to remove my old nails and was left sitting there. I had 2 women come and file my nails randomly. It took forever and wasn't consistent. When I was told to wash my hands I had to use one of the brushes to get all of the stuff off of my hands and even after using soap my hands smell like mold. This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life... So, I decided to try this place out just because its a little closer to home and I didn't feel like driving the 45min I usually drive to my favorite nail place... Anywhoo, long story short or as short as I can make it lol The girl who did my nails did a horrible job. I had the nail stuck to my skin, she filed them too short to where it hurt one was bigger than another one nail wasn't on right it was faceing left instead of straight not only that but there was sort of a blue tint and like dots on my French manicure... I nicely told the lady what I thought was wrong and that if she could please fix it and she kept saying that it was part of getting acrilic nail. And I went on to explain that I get my nails done all of the time and no one had ever made them look as bad as she had... So, I call the manager over thinking that I would get something resolved and surprise surprise the manager tells me the same thing and then starts yelling at me and calling me stupid. I told him to stop yelling at me and that he wasn't a very good manager... I told him I wouldn't be coming back because of the bad surves and thru his business card on the floor. He runs to the door and starts yelling at me to pick his business card up or that he will call the cops ... As I am trying to exit the door he grabs me by the arm and tells me again to pick the card up. I said let me go I am pregnant and the only person going to jail is going to be you if you don't let my arm go... He said he didn't care if I was pregnant and proceeded to push me back. My sister and one of his workers had to get him to let me go and calm down... I got out as soon as I could... This place is run by animals I won't ever step foot in this place again and I will be sure to advice every body I know about this place. And you can bet that after that horrible experience I'll make time to drive those 45 min to my usual nail salon ... Just wobble right in there and be happy that I don't have to worry about getting assaulted ... Smh. read more

Came here for the first time to get Nexgen. Heard so many good things about it and that it lasts longer than shellac. The woman that did it (Alisa) was very friendly but did a horrible job. The polish/powder came out lumpy and uneven and made my nails look wide and ugly. Told her that the filing she did was not even and she blamed my short nails and the product being too thick. Having been to various nail salons and having short nails because I'm a nurse has never been a reason for the tech to file them horribly and acrylics are thicker than Nexgen and they turn out fine. She was full of excuses. The $30 Nexgen also does not include cuticle care or a hand massage so I basically paid for fancy polish applied horribly. Never coming back and would not recommend. read more

I'm so upset at the place. I had great reviews for this place last time but I'm a little upset at the customer service. Since I had such a great service for Mothers Day, I thought I would drop off my husband here from a pedicure. He is on his feet 24hrs a day and wanted some relief..I left him there at 12:30 pm and asked the lady how long the wait was she said he was next. Ok, sounds good. Left and received a call from my husband that others were going in front of him. And that everyone that kept walking in this lady was saying your next. You know I really liked this place but honesty is a big deal to me. And if your willing to loose a customer on lying to them then your values as a business owner are not that high. At least tell me the truth, hey you've got people in front of you. Especially if your on a time crunch and you've waisted about 30 minutes sitting there when you could of went somewhere else. I've come here a few times now and have had the Dipping powder nails, gel pedicure, and eyebrow/lip wax. All of the services were done quickly and nicely. Also, they are really reasonably priced which is a bonus (I paid $87 for all those services combined and that was with an upgraded pedicure). Every time they cut my nails, they use a nail clipper that isn't coming out of a Santos's package which is kinda sketchy and one of the main reasons I'm not giving them five stars. read more

BUT I've been there twice for gel manicures with two different technicians and both times the gel nail polish started peeling off my nails in about a week. I went here for the first time yesterday. Linh was awesome. She did a great shellac on my nails and the pedi was great too. So relaxing. I also got an eyebrow wax and they looked great. Let me start off by saying this used to be my favorite place in Mesquite to go get my nails done... that being said I will never go back!! EVER!!! First of all, I waited over an hour to be seen for a mani/pedi. When I finally sat down, I get a lady who has no idea what I am asking her, which is fine, I am understanding, but it's clear the lady next to her DOES know what I am asking and doesn't help her out. Nevertheless, I just deal with not getting my request for nail polish remover on a cotton ball to remove the rear polish on my nails. So the pedicure begins, she cuts and files one foot, starts the second, gets distracted and doesn't file the second foot... ok whatever. Then she starts on my cuticles, cuts me, keeps going, fine no big deal.. it will be fine.. then the foot filing and massage start, gets distracted and doesn't do one foot. At this point, I wanted to walk out and just go somewhere else but I kept going. Then she starts mani before polishing, great.... NOT.. proceeds to cut me again with the cuticle... keep going.. no biggie... then the polish... this is when I had my LAST straw. I wanted a light grey, I tested before to make sure it was a good even polish.... let me tell you this lady has NO IDEA how to polish nails... at this point i should have walked out. But I kept going, when she got to my nails they were so streaky, uneven and bubbly, i finally just asked for a new color.. thinking maybe that is was the polish. So she grabs another light grey... SAME THING! So i just asked her to take it off and I would leave. I go to pay and told the manager and he said he would take $10 off and i said that's ridiculous, i have ZERO polish on my toes or nails and will have to go pay for another one. So he says let's try another color with the SAME girl.. needless to say.. still terrible and had to go to another salon near my house that fixed it in a jiffy!!! Great place for manicures! My friend and I booked a morning appointment for two gel manicures. There are plenty of cool colors to choose from a wall of colors. The ladies were awesome. No pain! We were pleased with the results. Plus, you receive a neck and shoulder massage after your nails are done. Service is friendly. Ask for Linh. She takes her time for the nail art, so you will be very happy with your manicure. This place is very clean. The only thing that bothered me was the heavy incense smell in the morning; however, I do not mind because there is a good reason for burning incense. My friend and I will be back. read more

This was my first time there. The place was very clean, tools came out of unopened packets, very calm, relaxing atmosphere. I had the super deluxe pedicure which was $45 and was worth every penny! Lucy did such an awesome job. She took her time and gave me a very positive experience. I asked her to do a design on my big toes, which she did freehand, and I was charged $5.00 and that included two toes. The massage was out of this world! She took great care not to cut me and did cuticle work several times as my skin continued to soften. I will definitely as for her again for next time. I also got the NextGen nails. Lee did these nails. He was very courteous. I think he did an excellent job and I love my nails. This was $30.00. The only thing that was lacking was that he didn't clean under my nails or my cuticles. I would have thought that would be standard practice but maybe not. It may cost more money to include those services. This is why I only rated it a 4. Also no one offered me water, which again, they may not do. I've been here a few times. (3-4) and never complained. This last time takes the cake. I understand that they don't take appointment on weekends but I sat there and waited an hour..... (I WATCHED THE CLOCK) before I even sat down, this one guy asked me what I wanted, I told him, and he looked back to the next available lady and tells her. OMG when I tell you she made a disgusted face and said no... she didn't want to do it... I got mad... I didn't say anything because what if im over-reacting, fine whatever. I finally get called, thank goodness it was another lady. (I asked for a mani, pedi with gel) I go and sit down to get a pedicure. Finally.... everything was going good. Or so I thought. This lady is cutting off so much of my cutical my toe and 3 other fingers were bleeding. I even told her, but she kept saying sorry and continued to do it. I know at this point I should have "Just gotten up and left right" But I decided to finish. Shes done and I go and sit down at the table. So im waiting...... waiting..... waiting.... ANOTHER HOUR passes by (YES I LOOKED AT MY PHONE) I decided to ask some one of the guys there how much longer it was going to take. Apparently they confused me with someone else and thought I was going to get some other kind of nails done. URRR. I get told to sit down, and the same lady that did my toes comes over. (Great) so shes getting everything ready and I tell her i want my natural nails, same size and to not file then down so much. She said ok, and goes on to file then shorter then expected and does the exact same thing she did to my toes.... she kept cutting my cuticles to a point where they started to bleed. (Once again I could have stopped there, but I kept saying to myself, my BF told me I should do my nails and he would pay for them) so the lady starts to put the gel polish on and brings out the light to cure.... OMG did it burn my fingers... I have NEVER gotten gel before, and I know that was not supposed to happen.... I took them out and noticed bubbles on them. I didn't want to complain, I was already agitated after everything. So I showed her, and she "attempted" to fix them.... So after "fixing" them TWICE. I just got up and payed....... Thanks Lady.... I GOT PROPOSED TO THAT NIGHT. I had to crop out my freaken nails out of ever pic thanks to you. Never again. Warning - Dirty Unsanitary Salon!!!! I never post negative reviews, but I feel strongly this information should be publicly documented. I went for a Nexgen nail salon treatment 2 weeks ago. While I was there I noticed the walls were very dusty and floors were very dirty. While waiting my turn I noticed no one changed the towels between each client service. In fact, one salon attendant dropped an already dirty towel on the very dirty floor and simply returned it to the already dirty table! YUKK!! I really needed a manicure and did not have time to visit another nail salon. When it was my turn I requested the table be cleaned and also asked for a clean towel. The salon attendant seemed very annoyed and began talking in her native language to her coworker while she rolled her eyes. Unsanitary nail salon services can lead to serious bacteria infections and health complications. Customers Beware!! Do your homework. Salons should follow sanitary salon procedures to protect their customers and employees. In the future I will be going back to North Dallas for a sanitary nail salon service. I will NOT return to the Town East Blvd Nail Spa until they clean up their shop and adopt sanitary practices.
