I'll start of...the employees were sweet. But sadly the I will NOT come back. I came for a Pedicure and manicure. The manicure was REALLY bad. I understand if it's not exactly like the picture, but you can see in some areas, no effort was put in. I asked her if she could redo it and she did, but it didn't look any better. She was having a hard time and I offer to change my design, but she insisted that she could do it. It was not good. The pedicure was fine. The lady was very pushy on getting callus removed and gel, which I caved in.. but the massage was not 5 minutes as stated in the menu....and she accidentally cut my skin and I bleed a bit. Very sad and disappointed, I immediately took them off my manicure. I will not come back or recommend anyone to come here
My review is from 1 month ago I know I'm late, but I had to post this -WHY I came- I came here because I needed to get a new gel manicure, one of my nails was chipped and I had a very important day and the place I go to is closed on Tuesdays. -WHAT I didn't like- Something I'm not good with is a business taring down another business. Something else I'm not okay with is the staff telling me I am lying to them. Next for them to be talking about me the entire time negatively, ruining my nails, making one of my nails bleed and my nails getting black random spots above the gel they added is above and beyond my nightmare. -WHY I didn't like it/ results- This place did all of the above. They told me I should not go back to my place and only go to them they said the other place didn't do a good job, which I'm not good with. I have been a happy customer at my location in brea for a very long time. Next they kept telling me I had dip and not gel. I said no I have gel then she started talking in her language for a very long time pointing at my nails all the girls coming over various times looking at my nails. I felt like an experiment or some sort of circus act. I reminded the lady I was not lying and she kept going in English saying it was dip and that nobody can make nails that strong for gel. Then she shaved down my nail so much beyond needing that my nails where so red and tender. I told her that she was filing down my actual nails at this point, she didn't believe me and kept saying no this is what nails look like putting her hand next to mine bringing other ladies to put their nail next to mine. I honestly can't, thinking back makes me upset I didn't walk out. As they continued ruining my nails she clearly was so careless and made one my nails bleed. One week later my nails started getting black spots, which has never in my life occurred and I've been getting my nails done for for over 15 years. I went to My spot in Brea. They asked me who filed my nails so thin, they told me they are so thin they recommended/suggested I add oils and creams for at least two weeks before doing any work on them to give them time to heal. My own place told me to take a break. It's been 1 month I have not had my nails done and they are still healing. I didn't take a picture of my nails because they were that bad. This is how they look now 1.5 months later with added creams and oils they have come a long way but as you can see my natural nail bed is faintly pink but they are currently mostly red still.

The basic pedicure is supposed to include a 5 minute massage, I literally timed it on my phone and it was a whole 25 seconds long. & She scrubbed the bottom of my feet for about 3 seconds each and applied very little effort. Also... that disposable scrubber that they use for the bottom of our feet is REUSED. My polish is so thick and glooped on that it won't dry and starting to run off the sides.. going to have to redo it at home. This was the most half a$$ed pedicure I've ever had.

We enjoyed relaxing and fun pedicures here today! Thanks so much ladies for providing us with a much needed break from Disney - nice clean tubs and tools, extremely friendly staff and the massage felt amazing!!! We will definitely come back!
I just left this place & while the service was fine but the quality of work was TERRIBLE.. nothing was sanitized & I was cut.. the gel polish was chunky & had a lot of bubbles & my nails aren't even the same size. I still tipped, I felt pressured because they put in the amount, they don't let you do it.. it was hot in there & smelled so strong. Honestly I'll let the pictures talk for themselves
Lady was very unprofessional. First and last time coming. The lady didn't even give me slippers to walk out with after telling her that I had closed toed shoes. Also, when I asked her not to put oil, oil, and I have a skin allergy. When she was cleaning my in groans, I kept telling her that her, and to cut deeper and she wouldn't and she took two hours to do my nails. And her polish sucks.
Great service! I had a great conversation and my nail tech. Gave me a lot to chose from but the most helpful suggestion was to try something different. I did and I loved my nails.
Simply just love Tammy, at Nail Protection she is the best nail techs I've ever had in my life. Most of the time I just go in and tell her to do whatever she'd like, just give her a color scheme and let her use her creativity, and my nails simply come out beautiful each and every time.
Well they told me to come today at 4:30 when I called at 3 pm. Showed up at 4:30, and they weren't ready. I really hate when places tell u to come at a certain time when they aren't even avail able, why can't u just say you're too busy today.

I've been a customer of Tina's for years. I went in yesterday 9/1 to get a manicure and pedicure. To start, I will say I'm a very very picky person but if I'm a paying customer then I'm allowed to be. I've never complained about pricing and I'm always generous with my tips. Yesterday Tina did my pedicure first I then told her I would send her a picture of the nails I wanted which she has done once before. When I sent her a text my contact name came up as Vicky khó chịu, I stayed looking at her phone thinking what can that possibly mean. I couldn't snap a picture since she was already doing my manicure and both hands were occupied. Once I got a minute I looked it up on google. If you're Vietnamese you know exactly what this means. I was shocked to see how I was saved in her phone. I'm very particular how i like my nails done but again as I should be. I only left her a $5 tip when I shouldn't have left her anything, but i usually tip $10-20 the $5 was because regardless she still spent time on me but learning she feels a certain way about me was a bit disappointing. Later that night I sent her a text which shows below. With that being said I will no longer be returning to this nail salon, they act very nice and are welcoming but once you leave I'm sure they're talking bad about you. read more

The staff was friendly, but I could have done my nails better myself! I don't think they sterilize their instruments in between customers... the salon was dirty and not well kept. I was disappointed to say the least. I felt my nail technician was lazy! She only lotioned ONE of my hands... lol.. there was noticeable nail polish left on my skin afterwards ... the salon was completely empty and we were told we couldn't come in because there was another appointment.. makes no sense! I'm NO "nail snob", but i DO expect a certain level of customer service... I got a mani pedi for the first time.. no gel, no design.... the sign on the window says $18 MANI PEDI.. yet I was charged $23? unfortunately I didn't realize this until after the fact... just take a look at the photos... judge for yourself. Tina and Tammy are the best!! They are beyond sweet, friendly, and caring. Always providing a very enjoyable experience and my nails always come out exactly how I want them. I have been going to Tammy for about 2 years now and WILL NEVER go elsewhere. I get a fill and gel every 3 weeks and she nails it everytime. I am a hairstylist my hands are in water and working 6 days a week, I never have any issues with lifting or chipping as I have in the past with other nail techs. I'm an appointment person and have never had an issue booking. All around a great service everytime also a clean and professional establishment. read more

I got my nails done yesterday and they look so badass. Nail protection is my favorite nail salon to go to because my experience has been great every single time. The nail specialists are very sweet and adorable. Apparently, these four fashionistas are sisters and they are amazing at what they do. Diana, the shop owner always knows what's up to date with nails and trends. I always walk out looking and feeling awesome. Yesterday, I got the Katy Perry style crackle acrylic nails done by Anna. I chose a pink base with black crackle on top and the colors just pop. I saw a picture of a girl who also got her nails done with turquoise and black crackle and it looked very fun and flirty too. I've had pedicures and French tip before and they last for the longest time without chipping. You can also get your eyebrows shaped and hoo ha waxed. I've been coming to this salon since high school, for dances, weddings, parties and even random Fridays when it's been a long week and baby girl needs to get pampered. This place makes you feel like a woman! And I've seen a lot of men getting pedis while waiting for their gfs/wives too. Aww! read more

The staff here was friendly and willing to accept a late comer for nail manicure and pedicure service. I haven't done my nails for over two months and the girls here were friendly to my husband and I. I got full set acrylic nails with gel nails! Got my nails done by Tammy and she was so gentle with my nails. I have really small nails so nail salons usually have a hard time with it but she was great! She was very fast but detailed! Loved it! read more

So first of all this place is AMAZING. I came in for a fill and Tammy was the nail tech i Made an appointment with. She is the sweetest and does a great job. I can never find someone that can shape my nails just right! Plus my nail broke off (done at different salon) and she repaired it for free! I think I found my new designated nail salon. read more

I love coming to this nail salon so much. The ladies are so friendly to me and always Attentive. They pay attention to detail when it comes to my nails and pedicures and are always willing to fix something I don't like. The services are worth every penny. And the experience of coming here is always a good one for me. Tina usually does my nails and always does a perfect job. They also did a really nice job of waxing my eyebrows and keep in the shape. love this place so much read more
