I really wanted to love this spot, but most likely will not be back. Pros: they were able to take me as a walk-in nearly right away. They had a great color selection of quality products and the staff was really friendly. The shape was perfect and the person who did them was really meticulous, which I appreciated. Cons: I have 2 big gripes here... the first is that there was no manicure with the dip (soaking, cuticle care, etc). The second was the end product. The person who did them did not clear the dip from around my cuticles which results in faster chipping. Additionally, the top coat began flaking off after 2 days. I typically have a dip last 3-4 weeks, so this was really frustrating.
I have been going to the nail lounge for many years and when I say they make myself and my sister and mom feel like family. I absolutely love the service and the staff members. When I get my pedicure I go to Mina she is absolutely top tier and she makes my feet feel like new , she's not only friendly she takes pride in her work no matter who she's working on Mina is the only person I let work on my aching feet. As for my nails Jack is my go to he is funny professional and so talented he can freestyle a design just by knowing my personality, he can look at picture and bring it to your vision. The owner Roland works hard to ensure all of customers are satisfied and happy with their service Roland goes over and beyond for his customers this is my happy place . The music is peaceful and sets a good vibe and the decor is classy and stylish the nail lounge is where you need to be tell them Chanel sent you
Where do I start? Pros: Very clean Beautiful decor Nice vibe Cons: Requested service was an epic failure Quality of service was dismal Customer service was lacking The Story: received reference from a friend for a particular nail tech (why, by the way, was EXCELLENT! I mean, for those who search near & far for detailed nail design at its perfection, this young lady is at the top of her game!) The end...of the good stuff. Now the bad. My friend called beforehand to get pricing, and the price quoted and what I paid afterward differed greatly. TIM did my mother's full set with a French manicure, and her nails looked like a brick overlay!!! I distinctly asked the front desk gentleman if TIM was as good as my friends nail tech, and he emphatically told me yes! LIES!!! Even though my mother asked for a specific color before and was confirmed, she didn't get it in the end, and wasn't told until afterward that they didn't have the color. Not only do my mom's nails look like brick, but they were different shapes and ragged. Yes, I did notify the tech, who tried to correct it, but TOO LATE, damage done. Then they had the nerve to attempt to add an extra charge for shape, as if you have an option and shouldn't filing and shaping your nails be a part of a full set? Not special shape, just your regular nails. I guess they were going to charge extra for involuntary making my mom's nails different shapes to cover up TIM'S disaster!!! Moving on to my mani/pedi...not only was JACK extremely rude and unfriendly when I was showing him some details he neglected doing my pedicure, I had to reshape and cut some of my toe and fingernails because they were not smooth. See the picture of my disappointing manicure. On another note, after I saw the staff offer a client water, I asked why wasn't I asked, they bring me a bottle of water as I'm putting on my coat. The final straw was the bill, but there's no prices posted, so now I can't dispute the price I was told versus what I'm being charged. Not that they were the slightest bit interested in my dissatisfaction or complaint. And guess what... I still tipped for services rendered, but I woefully regret the experience, and every dollar paid! One of the WORST experiences for my visiting mother and myself...NEVER to rerurn! After reading the reviews, I see that my experience isn't uncommon. 0 stars if I could!
I don't get pedicures often but came to this location a handful of times before Covid. This past Thursday 5/5/21 was my first time back and it's now Saturday and my toe is starting to become red, swollen and extremely painful. I've never had an infection on my foot or toe before and this feels awful. When I arrived the water was scalding hot in the bowl and the person who set me up to soak and wait for a nail tech added cold water but she needed to add so much the bowl was practically overflowing. When the nail tech gentleman began and asked me to lift my foot onto the towel the first time a little water splashed because the bowl was so full and the nail tech scolded me for splashing him. I explained how the bowl had too much water which he could see but instead of letting some out he told me I needed to be more careful. The rest of the pedicure I moved my feet around very slowly and we didn't talk at all during the service. He did not open fresh tools in front of me but I know some salons use some type of light sanitation system so I didn't think anything of it, well never again. I will never be back and will never recommend this place to anyone. Edit to add: I wound up at my doctor to have the infection drained and needed a prescription of antibiotics. Absolutely awful experience. Unacceptable.
Take it from someone who's been getting her nails done for over 10 years wearing regular polish, gel, acrylics, shellac, no chip, and dip powder, save money and go somewhere else. The only 1 star is for decor and I guess color options. I usually get the dip powder because working in healthcare and constantly washing and sanitizing my hands, wearing no chip lasts for maybe 3-4 days tops. Although I didn't have polish on prior, the whole manicure took about 40 minutes at most. It was nice getting done earlier than I'm used to, but something didn't feel right about it. This is the second salon that I've experienced that uses gel for the top coat and the last time I had gel for a top coat on top of dip powder, my nails lasted about 4-5 days. I asked for the dip powder top coat and they claimed they did not have it. At that time, I knew my nails were not going to last more than a week. Lo and behold, my nails lasted about 3 days before chipping took place. TL;DR: they use gel for top coat on dip powder and I'm personally not a fan of that. I would not recommend this salon to friends and family. Save your money (especially since the nails were on the expensive side) and go somewhere else.
My nail tech was Fee, he does an amazing French! He shaped them perfectly. His work is clean and precise. Got everything I asked for and more! 28 days ago Tomorrow will mark 4 weeks with this set. All nails stayed on perfectly, the design was subtly which allowed them to look great for whole month! I highly recommend Fee!
I got my nails same day. I called and they said that my nails shape, and no chip acrylics would be around 55 plus 5 for design. At the end of the appointment my total was $81.00!!
I came here because my nail technician from Chicago moved to this location. Nancy has always been the best. She always listens to what I want and does an amazing job. I showed her exactly what I wanted from a Pinterest post I found and she was able to help me find the perfect colors to match it. The salon itself is super nice and clean. They have a wide variety of colors to chose from. It was definitely worth the drive to come see Nancy.
I called and asked what openings they had for a pedicure , she said you can come right now. When I arrived (13 minutes later) Thinking they were not busy,, they were full of customers just starting and some mid way thru their services . After a couple of minutes she told me to go to the back and have a seat, for about 10 minutes while soaking my feet. This turned into a 33 minute soak NO ONE came by, Finally she empties the water 1x during adding COLD water. I was getting up to just leave, and a tech came to me. She started the pedicure Extremely fast. and while doing it she kept looking to the front of the shop and stayed focused there. The was extremely focused on the lobby area NOT on what she was doing to me. While using the cuticle nippers she cuts into not only the cuticle but into the side of my toe. gave me a slice of cotton and continued to nip and look at the front of shop I moved my feet away from her at this point as I looked at the lobby area and then at her, ( as in to give her a notice to stop being distracted) The ENTIRE pedicure time was SEVEN MINUTES YES SEVEN MINUTES !!!! she did do all the steps but only about maximum each step was 45-50 seconds. THE ABSOLOUTE WORST pedicure I've ever had. I will NEVER RETURN. OH the best part was at the checkout she said ( in perfect English) YOU ADD TIP ! talk about Pressured into something. I did leave $2 she was SO ANGRY. she walked away yelling in whatever language of her heritage. TAKE MY ADVICE DO NOT GO HERE. I cant a below zero star rating if I could I would. Below is a picture of how she spent her entire 7 minutes on me.

Today I went to nail lounge to get my nails done before i went on a trip, i asked for the design pictured in green but wanted orange instead. The guy I got said it was no problem. Perfect! I went and sat down as he started my nails and when we got to the point of the design he kept restarting on it. Now i gave it a chance and trusted he said that he could but i did not like it. I ended up having to ask to just paint it orange instead like the rest of the nails. I go here a lot and i'm usually satisfied with the outcome and always come back for more. this time i was disappointed. if you are going to promote the design and what you can and cannot do let it be accurate. no shade to anyone i will come back but i was just upset that i was told they could do something just to not do it how it was pictured. read more

I always have a nice experience here but this time it was a complete failure. I had made an appointment two days ahead for a pedicure and dip polish change. Katherine started my pedicure and then told me she couldn't accommodate my other scheduled appointment. I would have left before she even started! So disappointed!!! It won't happen again because I'm going somewhere else. She was so worried about what everyone else was doing that it ruined my pedicure. The place could also use a serious deep cleaning! read more

Had a great first experience at Nail Lounge today with Lisa. She was phenomenal. I've gone to the same place off 95th street for years. I actually went there for a pedicure this morning but wanted to try out the dip powder manicure which they did not offer. I found Nail Lounge through Yelp. I called ahead and they were able to take me immediately. What a great experience! I was happy that the place was very clean. Everyone in the salon seemed happy. They offered me water or tea when I arrived. The salon is only 2 months old, is modern, and quite spacious. They have every color of polish you could imagine!! I am thrilled with the dip manicure I received. Lisa took her time and had very great attention to detail! Highly recommend her. I will definitely be back next time for all of my nail needs! Overall, fabulous experience!!! read more

I do not recommend this nail salon. My cuticles were cut very poorly. The nail polish was left on my skin around nails and the nail polish was applied very tick. There was no cuticle oil applied, no lotion applied, and the nail polish has bubbles now. We will not be coming back. read more

I have gone to the Nail Lounge many times over the past few years. I usually come in as a walk in and when the regular manager is there I usually get a good nail tech. Today I went in and there was a different manager and the nail tech I got was Tony. I have never seen him before but like I said, I am usually happy with the nail tech that I get. I asked for no chip on my natural nails and this was the result. I am giving 2 stars because of my previous visits. I will not be returning. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I'm new to the area and visited the salon with my ten year old daughter for nail services the day before my birthday and bachelorette party. I needed two nails repaired, the two nails that were "repaired" were put onto my finger tips completely crooked. When the technician asked me how my nails were looking I told him my nails were crooked. He then told me oh yes I put the wrong tip size on! Which means he knew his error but was not going to correct it unless I said something. He attempted to correct the area unsuccessfully. I was then pawned off to another nail tech. The shaping was completely uneven with all my nails basically being cousins and not sisters! Once the poor services were done I was followed to the register by a tech who did my pedicure and pressured to tip 20% of my $200 dollar bill which was completely unprofessional and embarrassing. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS SALON AGAIN AND CAUTION OTHERS NOT TO. My birthday/bachelorette nail experience was completely ruined. read more

Went here for the first time and absolutely loved it! compared to the other nail salon i've been to around here this place blew it out of the water. she took so much time on them to make sure they were perfect! only complaint is that they didn't have the color i wanted for the design but that wasn't my technicians fault! could give 6 stars if i could. read more

I think I found my new nail salon. Pretty good service, clean, pretty and not crowded like a nail shop factory like most places. Pretty personable. Fast but accurate. I have dip.. It isn't thick and it looks very natural! Great work Tea! I didn't give 5 Stas because there was a limited selection for the dip option. Other than that I will be back read more

I came a few months ago and was supposed to receive a %20 off because of the one year promo. They didn't honor it then because Roland wasn't there. Another nail technician wrote on the business card %20 for my next appointment. Fine. I tried to get my nails done today with the discount and once again because Roland wasn't there, they wouldn't honor it. read more

First of all id give 0 stars if i could, the lady who did my eyebrows was very unprofessional. Before i sat down i said can i get eyebrow waxed, she walked me to the back, then i wanted a lip wax too, the eyebrows used to be 7, then went up for 12 then now its $15 cool i cant complain abt the price as im already sitting down. So she starts filling in my eyebrows with a pencil that has never been done before and then begins to wax. I showed her a reference picture twice she finishes I'm like this does not look like the picture. Mind you the whole time she is speaking in another language, and I don't understand her, and she proceeded to take a picture of me without my permission and I ask her what is the picture for and she says no nothing don't worry about it.. so once I say, my eyebrows does not look like the picture that I showed you. She gets off turn off the light and tells me to come on and I'm like I still want my lip waxed and she tells me know and tells me to get out.. so I speak to another associate who can speak English and I'm explaining the situation to him while she is also speaking in another language explaining her side and he's just like there's nothing I can do I don't do your eyebrows so I can't help you.. very unprofessional the last time I came here they miss my eyebrows up to. I don't know why I came back because I did like how they did them the first time. This is literally why you see people getting angry at the nail shop but I remain calm because I don't want to be a stereotype but it's very frustrating when you're being kicked out of the shop because they did a terrible job and then blame you like I don't understand and there's a communication barrier between us so I don't understand what you're saying you can't understand me.. but I will never be back here and I hope y'all don't waste your money or either.. read more

This is the second time I come to this salon and have left hating my nails. Idk why I bothered coming a second time, but I hoped a different nail tech would be better. These people do not know how to do a French tip. First I was upset with how they were doing a dip powder French so I got aggravated and told him take it off. I had tips on. He cuts them down and to make his life easier I tell him to shape it and just do a French on my short nails. He has an attitude. Barely shapes my nails correctly and then decides not to fix 2 clearly messed up nails. I am all around pissed off I spent $67 on awful service and an awful manicure. never coming here again!!! read more

I came across Nail Lounge on Yelp, I was skeptical at first but what caught my eye was the responsiveness Roland had for his customers feed back and questions on Yelp. That was really important for me because that made me feel like he really cared for his clients (which he does). I made an appointment request online and he responded within a timely matter. He even called me to let me know that he was running behind schedule and if we could push my appointment back a bit, which I did not mind because then I would have showed up and had to wait. As soon as I got there Roland greeted me and sat me down right away. He was attentive and really showed he cared, he made me feel welcome and offered me something to drink which was different from any other salon I've been too. This place is BYOB which I thought was the shiiiii lol. He offered to pour me my drink and did not make me feel like I was being rushed to hurry up and get me out the door. He introduced me to Andrew who did my pedicure, he was sweet as can be. He kept conversation with me and we laughed and joked. All the while Roland was servicing me prepping my nails for my acrylics. It was my birthday and they honestly made me felt like a queen. Lol honestly though I did. I have never had an experience like I did here at Nail Lounge. The services I received here was a pedicure and nail enhancement with acrylic. I chose the toe perfection, which was nice. It was two different types of scrubs a green one and a purple one with a massage and this like candle wax thing they rubbed on my legs and feet. My legs felt smooth and my toes were primed perfection. My nail enhancement I received was a long length coffin shaped nude color with an accent nail. Roland had Tommy take care of me. He did my nail enhancement and kept conversation with me the entire time. Usually there's that awkward silence but nope not here. After he was done he had Destiny take care of my polish. I chose a gold glitter nail polish for my accent nail and Tommy advised me that it would be too sheer and see through my nail and suggested me to polish the nail with a silver color first and then top it off with the gold glitter. I'm glad he did because it made it POP with color! Tommy knows his stuff, sweet man! Destiny did a great job with polishing my nails, I even smudged it at the end and she came in with this like miracle clear top coat that like legit made the smudge disappear (it might of been regular top coat lol) love my nails!! Overall my experience at Nail lounge was exceptional. They do care for their clients and they do want you to have a great time and really relax. This is what being pampered is really about and I LOVED every bit of it. The cleanliness of the place was top notch the employees were nice and attentive. Being here for my first time I had four different techs take care of me made me feel really cared for. Definitely would recommend for anyone who wants that type of care and quality to come here to Nail Lounge. You won't regret it I promise! read more

I have mixed feelings about my experience here. I had a classic pedicure and a pink & white ombre dip manicure done in preparation for my engagement photos this week. The good: really cute space, nicely decorated and great music. Everyone was super nice and friendly from start to finish. When I called to ask about pricing, Roland was helpful and patient. Leo did a great job on my pedicure and Katherine was very sweet and funny while doing my manicure. The bad: I came in with a picture the owner had posted on the Nail Lounge Yelp page and asked for it to be replicated. My nails ended up with way too much white and too little pink extending up the nail. Unfortunately with dip, it wasn't easy to tell what the finished nails would look like until it was too late for me to say something. I'm a bit disappointed with how my nails will look in my upcoming engagement pics. read more

Multiple friends from work had been recommending Nail Lounge to me for weeks. I tried it out and have been to nail lounge on two separate occasion since and have walked out very pleased every time. Today I went in for my appointment and brought my little sister along for a no-chip manicure. I always schedule an appointment and they get me seated quickly. Today they were able to set my sister up right next to me without an appointment. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Once you are seated they offer you a refreshment as you look through the nail color books. My tech today was Tommy and I loved him and his work. He will be my nail tech from here on out. The atmosphere and service here make it worth every penny. read more

So I previously lived in the Aurora area and I had a decent nail technician but after meeting Tea and Lisa...any time I come to visit I will be scheduling a visit with them for a drip nail mani and a pedicure (sorry I can't remember the name of it but all that matters is that is was the second of the four tiers they offer and it was AMAZING!!) so although I am very particular about my nails and try to keep up with the current trends, Tea taught me about the drip nail manicure and needless to say I'm in love. Not only was she knowledgeable about the products that they had to offer but she was very personable. I truly did appreciate that she did not cross talk with coworkers while servicing me in her native language and if she did, she did share with me what they were discussing. I mean come on, no one likes to feel like they are the topic of conversation and do not even know it. But back to the topic but let me tell you about Ms. Lisa and this PEDICURE...she got my ENTIRE LIFE IN ORDER. She took her time and even mentioned that my toes had a lot of excess skin and she wanted to be sure to remove it all and if I was in any discomfort to let her know!!! HONEYYYY if I was in pain it was well worth it the way my feet look after. Her painting was precise and I couldn't be more pleased. In terms of cleanliness, they are above the rest. I saw staff members working together to ensure customers were serviced immediately while never forgetting the importance of cleanliness of the space. I know this place is new and I really pray they will maintain this amazing customer service and cleanliness. Oh and i forgot to mention how amazing the space looks aesthetically...absolutely beautiful and the color selection will make blow your mind. I tend to have high expectations and I must say from start to finish I was pleased. The only luxury I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy was the glass of wine because it was 10:30am but this would definitely be a well deserved treat on a Friday night after a long week. However, I was offered water, tea, or pop upon arrival. Excellent experience overall. And last hung to mention, they guarantee their services for 2 weeks no matter if it is your fault or their fault for something going wrong. SEE WHAT I MEAN THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING!! I will definitely see you guys in my upcoming trip back to the area in December!! read more

This place is great. I came in today bright and early at 10:30AM to get a full set of acrylics put back on after months of having basically no nails (I bite them). I also got no-chip polish which made the cost $55 and I got a coffin shape which costed extra for some reason, so the total came out to be $60 for the full set. The lady who did my nails was good (I forgot her name... whoops). However I did ask them how much it costed to get fill ins, and she said that the cost to get a fill in with no-chip is $45... and it's only $25 at a salon I usually go to. That's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the price for today and the price for future fills. However the cost for a regular fill without the no chip is only $18 which is standard. I think it's a bit overpriced if you want no chip... Also, my thumb nail does look a bit off when it comes to the shape, but I can definitely live with it. However besides that, they really did a great job on my nails and gave me what I asked for. They even gave me a hand massage and neck rub! The lady doing my nails wasn't snobby when I asked to file my nails just a bit shorter, which was great because Id usually get an attitude if I made a request at my old salon. Overall the workers personalities were great. I loved how happy everyone was and no one was rude, which is surprising at a nail salon! read more
