A year ago we moved from Naperville and too far away from my previous salon in Wheaton. I was skeptical to try a new place but I wasn't willing to drive almost 40 minutes just for a pedicure at my old salon. I'm so glad I tried this place! They did an amazing job on my pedicure and were super polite. They also allow you to bring your own polish if you want, which is a plus. One addition: the woman seated across from me who was also getting a pedicure decided to wait until her nail tech had done at least one coat on all of her toenails before telling him she didn't like the color and she had him remove it and go pick out another color for her. He very politely asked why she had waited so long to tell him, but then he let it go and did as she asked. I was angry for him. Had a great first experience at Nail Lounge today with Lisa. She was phenomenal. I've gone to the same place off 95th street for years. I actually went there for a pedicure this morning but wanted to try out the dip powder manicure which they did not offer. I found Nail Lounge through Yelp. I called ahead and they were able to take me immediately. What a great experience! I was happy that the place was very clean. Everyone in the salon seemed happy. They offered me water or tea when I arrived. The salon is only 2 months old, is modern, and quite spacious. They have every color of polish you could imagine!! I am thrilled with the dip manicure I received. Lisa took her time and had very great attention to detail! Highly recommend her. I will definitely be back next time for all of my nail needs! Mixed feelings. I originally came here on a recommendation from a friend. The first time i came here i was with T. She's super nice and actually had a conversation with me during my time there. I got dip for the first time and was very happy with it along with my pedicure. The second time i came in i was with Helen... i do not recommend her. My nails are terrible and not worth the $45. My thumbs are two different lengths and the dip powder is uneven as well as my nails being different shapes. She also kept getting frustrated with me saying my nails weren't drying due to me touching my phone... i think they were done poorly cause my phone has never been an issue in the past. DO NOT GO HERE! I'm new to the area and visited the salon with my ten year old daughter for nail services the day before my birthday and bachelorette party. I needed two nails repaired, the two nails that were "repaired" were put onto my finger tips completely crooked. When the technician asked me how my nails were looking I told him my nails were crooked. He then told me oh yes I put the wrong tip size on! Which means he knew his error but was not going to correct it unless I said something. He attempted to correct the area unsuccessfully. I was then pawned off to another nail tech. The shaping was completely uneven with all my nails basically being cousins and not sisters! Once the poor services were done I was followed to the register by a tech who did my pedicure and pressured to tip 20% of my $200 dollar bill which was completely unprofessional and embarrassing. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS SALON AGAIN AND CAUTION OTHERS NOT TO. My birthday/bachelorette nail experience was completely ruined. read more

First of all id give 0 stars if i could, the lady who did my eyebrows was very unprofessional. Before i sat down i said can i get eyebrow waxed, she walked me to the back, then i wanted a lip wax too, the eyebrows used to be 7, then went up for 12 then now its $15 cool i cant complain abt the price as im already sitting down. So she starts filling in my eyebrows with a pencil that has never been done before and then begins to wax. I showed her a reference picture twice she finishes I'm like this does not look like the picture. Mind you the whole time she is speaking in another language, and I don't understand her, and she proceeded to take a picture of me without my permission and I ask her what is the picture for and she says no nothing don't worry about it.. so once I say, my eyebrows does not look like the picture that I showed you. She gets off turn off the light and tells me to come on and I'm like I still want my lip waxed and she tells me know and tells me to get out.. so I speak to another associate who can speak English and I'm explaining the situation to him while she is also speaking in another language explaining her side and he's just like there's nothing I can do I don't do your eyebrows so I can't help you.. very unprofessional the last time I came here they miss my eyebrows up to. Have been going there for years but I have also have seen over the pass year service has went down terribly. The past few times I have visited, hasn't been the best and definitely won't be returning. I came today for a fill in and a pedicure. Before I could even pick my color I was seated.which was great since I didn't have an appointment. I came from LA for a few months and I was on the hunt for a nail salon in the area and let me just start by saying that this place EASILY beats plenty of spots in Los Angeles. This is the second time I come to this salon and have left hating my nails. Idk why I bothered coming a second time, but I hoped a different nail tech would be better. These people do not know how to do a French tip. First I was upset with how they were doing a dip powder French so I got aggravated and told him take it off. I had tips on. He cuts them down and to make his life easier I tell him to shape it and just do a French on my short nails. He has an attitude. Barely shapes my nails correctly and then decides not to fix 2 clearly messed up nails. She listens and wants to make sure all customers are happy. I went here to try a salon closer to home. Went on 11/29 to get a fill in with design. By 12/1 my nails had changed colors on 12/2 I went in and they repainted the nails by 12/7 2 nails had broken and one is cracked. I will never go back. My nails typically last at least 3 weeks and here they lasted one. I am very disappointed especially after spending so much money and time. read more

LOVE getting pedicures here. So relaxing and luxurious. Feet are so extremely soft afterwards, especially with the paraffin wax. Super clean place- you will constantly see the employees cleaning even the chairs themselves. There's nothing better than knowing you will not contract an infection once you leave a nail salon- worst fear ever. They use brand new packaged files and tools for each person. Prices are a little high but they usually send specials via text messages and stuff. I would rather pay a few dollars extra tho for a super clean nail salon tho than risk it somewhere else. The staff is friendly as well and often ask how you are or if you want water etc which I think is a nice touch. When I moved to Naperville I had a bad experience at a nail shop that seemed very racist which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome but this nail shop is very inclusive and they provide great service to everyone. I came across Nail Lounge on Yelp, I was skeptical at first but what caught my eye was the responsiveness Roland had for his customers feed back and questions on Yelp. That was really important for me because that made me feel like he really cared for his clients (which he does). I made an appointment request online and he responded within a timely matter. He even called me to let me know that he was running behind schedule and if we could push my appointment back a bit, which I did not mind because then I would have showed up and had to wait. As soon as I got there Roland greeted me and sat me down right away. He was attentive and really showed he cared, he made me feel welcome and offered me something to drink which was different from any other salon I've been too. This place is BYOB which I thought was the shiiiii lol. He offered to pour me my drink and did not make me feel like I was being rushed to hurry up and get me out the door. He introduced me to Andrew who did my pedicure, he was sweet as can be. He kept conversation with me and we laughed and joked. All the while Roland was servicing me prepping my nails for my acrylics. It was my birthday and they honestly made me felt like a queen. Lol honestly though I did. I have never had an experience like I did here at Nail Lounge. The services I received here was a pedicure and nail enhancement with acrylic. I chose the toe perfection, which was nice. It was two different types of scrubs a green one and a purple one with a massage and this like candle wax thing they rubbed on my legs and feet. My legs felt smooth and my toes were primed perfection. My nail enhancement I received was a long length coffin shaped nude color with an accent nail. Roland had Tommy take care of me. He did my nail enhancement and kept conversation with me the entire time. Usually there's that awkward silence but nope not here. After he was done he had Destiny take care of my polish. I chose a gold glitter nail polish for my accent nail and Tommy advised me that it would be too sheer and see through my nail and suggested me to polish the nail with a silver color first and then top it off with the gold glitter. I'm glad he did because it made it POP with color! Tommy knows his stuff, sweet man! Destiny did a great job with polishing my nails, I even smudged it at the end and she came in with this like miracle clear top coat that like legit made the smudge disappear (it might of been regular top coat lol) love my nails!! Overall my experience at Nail lounge was exceptional. They do care for their clients and they do want you to have a great time and really relax. This is what being pampered is really about and I LOVED every bit of it. The cleanliness of the place was top notch the employees were nice and attentive. Being here for my first time I had four different techs take care of me made me feel really cared for. Today I went in for my appointment and brought my little sister along for a no-chip manicure. I always schedule an appointment and they get me seated quickly. Today they were able to set my sister up right next to me without an appointment. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Once you are seated they offer you a refreshment as you look through the nail color books. My tech today was Tommy and I loved him and his work. He will be my nail tech from here on out. So I previously lived in the Aurora area and I had a decent nail technician but after meeting Tea and Lisa...any time I come to visit I will be scheduling a visit with them for a drip nail mani and a pedicure (sorry I can't remember the name of it but all that matters is that is was the second of the four tiers they offer and it was AMAZING!!) so although I am very particular about my nails and try to keep up with the current trends, Tea taught me about the drip nail manicure and needless to say I'm in love. Not only was she knowledgeable about the products that they had to offer but she was very personable. I truly did appreciate that she did not cross talk with coworkers while servicing me in her native language and if she did, she did share with me what they were discussing. I mean come on, no one likes to feel like they are the topic of conversation and do not even know it. But back to the topic but let me tell you about Ms. Lisa and this PEDICURE...she got my ENTIRE LIFE IN ORDER. She took her time and even mentioned that my toes had a lot of excess skin and she wanted to be sure to remove it all and if I was in any discomfort to let her know!!! HONEYYYY if I was in pain it was well worth it the way my feet look after. Her painting was precise and I couldn't be more pleased. In terms of cleanliness, they are above the rest. I saw staff members working together to ensure customers were serviced immediately while never forgetting the importance of cleanliness of the space. I know this place is new and I really pray they will maintain this amazing customer service and cleanliness. Oh and i forgot to mention how amazing the space looks aesthetically...absolutely beautiful and the color selection will make blow your mind. I tend to have high expectations and I must say from start to finish I was pleased. The only luxury I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy was the glass of wine because it was 10:30am but this would definitely be a well deserved treat on a Friday night after a long week. However, I was offered water, tea, or pop upon arrival. Excellent experience overall. This salon is local to me so I went in for no chip mani, the top coat started peeling off within 2 days of service. Went back in to have them fix or redo that same week. This place is great. I came in today bright and early at 10:30AM to get a full set of acrylics put back on after months of having basically no nails (I bite them). I also got no-chip polish which made the cost $55 and I got a coffin shape which costed extra for some reason, so the total came out to be $60 for the full set. The lady who did my nails was good (I forgot her name... whoops). However I did ask them how much it costed to get fill ins, and she said that the cost to get a fill in with no-chip is $45... and it's only $25 at a salon I usually go to. That's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the price for today and the price for future fills. However the cost for a regular fill without the no chip is only $18 which is standard. I think it's a bit overpriced if you want no chip... Also, my thumb nail does look a bit off when it comes to the shape, but I can definitely live with it. However besides that, they really did a great job on my nails and gave me what I asked for. They even gave me a hand massage and neck rub! The lady doing my nails wasn't snobby when I asked to file my nails just a bit shorter, which was great because Id usually get an attitude if I made a request at my old salon. Nail Lounge was ok. I got my nails done here for my upcoming wedding. I wanted to go some place meeting in the middle with one of my friends. It was super easy to book an appointment for 2. I got a pedicure and full set, gel, no chip. The end product was pretty good. My toes ended up perfect. My finger nails were ok, but a little uneven upon close inspection. Nothing you would notice unless you are looking for it. However, I was disappointed with the execution. Typically when I spend over $100 for a mani-pedi, I will get pampered a little. This may include lotion or a hot towel on my legs. They did clear off some dead skin from my heels, but not completely. My manicure was the most disappointing. I don't think I have ever had a manicure where they did not soak your cuticles, even when I get a full set. There was no lotion rubbed on my hands or cleaning of my nail bed. In the end everything looked ok. I'd say my toes ended up looking good, but no where near worth over $100. Basically I paid for them to paint my toes and put plastic on my nails then paint that too. There are better options in the area. However, if you are in desperate need of getting your nails done quick, they can probably accommodate you. read more
