I loved that I could bring my own polish and they also liked Mooncat. The whole experience was attention to detail and lasted about just over an hour. I will be back and am happy to find this spot in the neighborhood. I'll be returning for Vivian's kindness especially, and enjoyed talking to Susan as well!

I came here to get my hair done. It's a place right in my neighborhood, but I've never been. I had…read morea Groupon so I decided to come and oh my God best decision ever. They took care of my hair. I've had many haircuts in the past and I've done adventurous things with my hair, but I was looking for something more natural but still stylish and cool looking and they hooked me up. My hair has never looked like this, I am in love with it. I love the hairdresser. She was so nice and talkative, and it was really comforting to be there. She even gave me advice on how to take care of my hair when I went home and products to use to style it since I was new to actually letting my hair be curly. She even recommended What we did with my hair in that session. And honestly, it turned out amazing.

M Nail Bar & Lash was recommended by a few friends so I tried it. The first time I went I was impressed with the ambiance and the aesthetics. My pedicure was amazing and I had no complaints. I got my nails done and it was fair as the tech appeared tense as well as rushed. This was an "ehhhh" on the first visit. The second experience was MUCH better. My nails were done by Star, who was incredibly pleasant, professional, and clearly very talented. She took her time and her experience really showed in the quality of her work. I was very pleased with how my nails turned out and will definitely be returning to see her again. Highly recommend asking for Star! I believe this salon needs more techs like Star. The customer service can be better if they spoke more to the customers and was more engaging. Also, they need to figure out a way of letting people know when they are eligible for a free drink without having to ask for it. Also why is the front desk receptionist so unfriendly both on the phone and in person? There are several other areas they should be focusing on to make the visit even more pleasurable.

I made an appointment through their website, which seemed very convenient. You can select your…read moreservices and it even tells you approximately how long your appointment will take. Unfortunately, that's where the convenience ended. We arrived on time for our 11:45 AM appointment for a pedicure and Gel-X full set. My daughter was taken right away for her pedicure, which took about 25 minutes. After that, she was told to sit and wait for her nail appointment. Thirty minutes later, no one had even started her nails. When I asked what was going on, I explained that we were on a tight schedule because my daughter had a hair appointment afterward for her prom. I was told that all the technicians were busy and that walk-in customers were taking longer than expected. So apparently walk-ins take priority over customers with appointments. What bothered me most wasn't even the delay--it was the complete lack of concern. Not one person apologized or acknowledged that our time was being wasted. Had it not been my daughter's prom day, we would have left. If appointments don't matter and walk-ins come first, what's the point of scheduling? Based on this experience and the lack of customer service, I won't be returning.

My first time at this salon I did not care for the service or experience because I felt my pedicure was rushed and the guy that did my nails was rough, however the complimentary drink stole my heart. It seemed like a clean place and quite big for a nail salon. There was a lot of workers there so I didn't have to wait at all for my turn, which is unusual for me. I got a male nail technician, which was also a first for me. He took his time in cleaning my cuticle and left my nails looking clean and shiny. I loved the options they had for nail color since there was variety and ended up going with a shimmering light blue nail polish. It started to chip after 3 days but it was pretty nonetheless. It was a bit pricey for $15.

As you can see by my nails, I am extra with them. I asked the woman to place the jewels I picked on different fingers and she goes "Ok you're asking for too much" and just puts it on one finger. That pissed me off so much because 1. You're not paying for them, I'm ASKING and PAYING for your service, is this not a nail salon?!!! 2. Are these your nails? Your hands?? Who cares if I'm asking for too much, do you not want my money? I didn't say anything because she had already started working on them and I did not feel like bickering, just super disappointed. I have never heard someone say something like this, how unprofessional and rude. Of course it looks beautiful, but it didn't even last 48 hours till they started breaking. (You can see it in the 3rd pic, I wish I had a better pic to show you all how bad it got within days.) I paid $156. You know how heartbreaking that is? I expected the quality and longevity to be exceptional due to how nice she did them, but that's just a facade. The application is trash and that's why it barely lasted. Come here if you like wasting money & getting nails that break and don't last.
