Every time I come to this salon there is always an issue. The only reason I come back is because I like how my nails turn out. But, I had an appointment for 1pm and they did not start until 1:40 and were inconsiderate of my time. I was offered a $5 off coupon but I found it disrespectful that they started on someone else who didn't have an appointment. I do not know if other people have these issues but it is ridiculous. Made appointment for 2 people at 2:00. Arrived 2:02 they told us 10 minutes. Someone did call but didn't leave a message. returned at 2:12 they could only take 1 of us. 40 minutes later I was still not started but my feet had been soaking in what was now cold water. Rushed service and nail tech got annoyed when I asked for an extra coat of color. Terrible end product

Terrible service, went here for the first time on Saturday and it took the tech 2 hrs to do dip powder on me. She had to do them twice as before she was able to file them to a smooth finish and apply the topcoat, there were cracks in the nails. By the time I got home that same evening the same cracks that had to be repaired while in the chair was back. The tech(s) overdid the filing and my cuticles were sore upon leaving. I didn't appreciate being swapped back and forth between the workers 3 times to finish my nails. Next came the pedicure, which was sloppy and very rushed! The annoying part was that the service was overpriced and as I was paying my bill the only thing that the owner was concerned with was how much gratuity I was leaving for the workers. I couldn't get out of this salon fast enough, The best thing for me to do at that point was to leave, as your paying for a service that was far from complete and I felt my blood pressure boiling! I do not recommend this establishment to anyone whom is interested in a professional nail job. Save you money and your peace of mind. read more

Was visiting NJ and had to do my nails on NYE ... stopped by this salon. The gel manicure was $30.00 I normally pay $15.00 in San Diego. Pedicure was $20.00. She didn't take off the cuticles in the manicure or pedicure. I asked her and she said she did if I wanted more. Normally at other salons they soak your nails in water and then take off all the cuticles. She did not do that. She was very friendly and nice but I would like to get what I paid for. I want my cuticles removed and I want a clean job. My sides were all messed up. She had paint all on the edges. She even messed up two nails and she tried to fix it but they were all clumpy and bubbly. I wouldn't go back when I go to NJ. They are very expensive and do not provide good work. read more

WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! I have been getting my nails done for 30 years and I have never had such a terrible experience as I did at Nail Plaza II. No wonder it is WAS EMPTY! I had a full set put on. It took the operator ("Alice") 2 hours to complete the job. I complained after 1.5 hours and another operated started on the other hand. Normally a new set takes an hour to an 1.25 hours to finish tops. NO two nails looked the same each had a different shape. Within 5 days they bent, broke and lifted. I went back to have them redone and the owner would not fix them without charging me for another new set. Needless to say that I left and will never go back to this nail salon again. read more

This place is HORRIBLE... when you make a reservation, they do not even ask your name ... because they don't care who you are and that continues for the entire time you are there! My gel manicure, which usually takes 45 minutes-1 hour was done in less than a half hour! She did not clean my cuticles or nails... left them dusty and sharp. The tools are not sanitized. It is impersonal, rushed, terrible service and quality. She asked for the $25 for gel about 6 times as I was getting the money out-that I had prepped already and had handy! I really wish I could like this place but I have been there so many times and just cannot. I had not been there in about 9 months and decided to give it another chance since i had a gift certificate. When I was done with a mediocre 50$ mani/pedi I gave in my gift cert only to be told I couldnt use it. Not sure why it expires in 6 months but a small town business who values regular customers most likely would honor it well if they want more business that is. They talked in Korean for a bit before deciding not to accept it and give me 10$ off. That's fine because well from now on I will take my 50$ elsewhere. Looking for a good business in the area!! This place is scary. Came here because my other nail salon was closed.. Polish selection and service are lacking. Very impersonal lady used dirty nail files on me, never washed her hands before or during (I thought she was but instead was filling up a bowl of water to soak my hand in) and their sanitation is very questionable. The table felt dusty and dirty. It obviously wasn't cleaned after the last client. She put used tools right into the sterilizing cabinet without washing or soaking them first. Why do these places think the uv cabinet kills all the germs? I shudder when I think of where those tools have been before me. One star bc the nails look ok and bc it's impossible to give no stars. Let's see how long they last. If you are to come here.. Bring your own file, nail buffer, tools etc or beware of germs they aren't killing properly. read more

Happy Nail Popped in for a basic manicure, but really needed a quick massage for a pinched nerve i had been suffering with for 2 days...got both and they were fabulous! Estelle gave me a basic manicure and did a nice job, also opted for a 20 minute massage ($12/10mins) that was wonderful! The massage was done in a private room in one of thise massage chairs. Nice staff!!!! I was greeted by the owner and was given immediate service!!! The nail tech the lady who sits in the 3rd chair on the left side.... was excellent... she did an awesome job. I had never had a gel manicure like this one...she soaked my nails...other places just utilize the machine to take off the previous gel nail enamel making the nails very weak...she also cut the cuticle without cutting me...I was so happy!!!!The place was very clean and they don't rush you out of the location. I'm from NYC and I was around the area. I decided to enter this place to get a mani and pedi. I have to say it was the worst experience ever. I enter the place and there was a lady getting her pedicure and I ended up finishing before her that tells you that she rush my mani and pedi; still leaving the previous color I had before. I had to direct her multiple times to files a little bit more, to remove cuticle, to shape the nail better. It was just horrible. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I used to come here regularly for my mani/pedis. But I stopped because they are so eager to please the next customer in the door that they will sacrifice the experience of one customer just for volume. My last experience there I was having a pretty nice pedicure when all of a sudden a couple came in for mani/pedis. I was just about to start my manicure when the gentleman asked how long the wait for him and his girlfriend would be. I don't blame the new customer for asking and he even told the owner they would come back. My manicurist immediately jumped up to the owner, they exchanged some words and they started up the pedicure seats for the new customers. I thought that they were only going to start the pedicure baths for the new customers but then I was shocked to see my lady start a full on pedicure. Meanwhile I'm sitting waiting for the second time because I waited patiently for my pedicure. I decide to walk myself to the foot dryer and set timer for 10 minutes. Once my ten minutes were up I left and paid for pedicure only. The woman was very apologetic for not being able to do my manicure and asked that I should come back. I guess she didn't get it. I'm not coming back ever you just lost a customer. And I'm a pretty decent tipper. Your sales strategy is completely wrong. read more

To be honest, these people don't even deserve a 1 star. I've never had such horrible service that has reduced me to tears. These people ganged up on me and made me leave my nails midway and had me crying. I've never been bullied or accused of lying like this in my life before. The lady who did my nails did it 15 or less minutes. Did not do them properly, didn't clean nails or cuticles correctly. And did it in a rush that there was marks on the nails. The next day, the nails are peeling. And gel does not peel until after 10 days. I did not have time to go back until 5 days later where at least 5 other nails peeled off. I asked for them to fix it, and they sat there and belittled me and told me they can't do that. They agreed to redo them for a discount. I accepted, the moment I accepted, they sat there and ganged up on me, sat and said I never came. I came and went to the place on Tuesday of this week but I showed up at closing, I told them that and they said I'm lying and that the place is open 7 days a week. Im sure it is, but it closes at certain time. So by logic, it won't be open if you come after closing. And that is what I was trying to tell them, but instead of conceding or dropping the subject they sat there, the lady who smokes and the other one and kept lecturing me about how this isn't their fault. I understand if you say it once or twice. But don't sit there and repeat 10 or 15 times like they were. Also throughout the whole time, they refused to give me the managers number.
