My cousin introduced me to this salon a few months ago and i decided to try it out. I've been going to Thina for my nails and she does such an amazing job. I always leave here happy and she's just so nice and she cracks me up. She also takes her time which i love. I also get my pedicure done from Michelle and she always does the perfect French and the perfect shape she's also so funny i love her humor and she is so sweet as well ! Another plus is both girls never burn me with the drill or hurt me. The vibe here is so fun and chill and honestly all the ladies do great work here and are so nice. They have great hospitality. Do not go here as a walk-in. I was told it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait. 35 minutes later she told me it was still going to be another 15 minutes. I don't know why I was given an arbitrary amount of time to wait. If she had just been honest with me from the start, I could have left and come back or made a an appointment for later on. Pretty pissed I already wasted 35 minutes of my time, but I decided to leave. I definitely don't appreciate being gaslighted just to be made money off of. There are plenty of other salons in this area. Update: made an appointment and went back a few weeks later. Everything went smoothly. Staff was kind and very accommodating. Prices were the same as other nail salons in the area. I got a gel manicure and loved the way it came out. Only downside is it started chipping just after a week. Usually I can go closer to 2 weeks before that starts happening. I'd still go back again (with an appointment). read more

Imagine getting a really bad set of nails, crying while leaving because you had to pay for a ugly set after constantly having to tell the nail tech to fix the shape and the owner says to come back so she can fix them and then she completely ghost you as if you never existed or had a bad experience. First and last time I do not recommend . The decency of saying that they could fixed it, but they didn't. Now I'm stuck with a bad set of nails till they come off. read more

I am extremely disappointed in this salon. I am a fairly new customer and had only had one other appointment before with Nailbox. The first experience I had with them was great, excellent service, everyone was very nice and Michelle did an amazing job with my nails. I scheduled another appointment and was running 12 minutes late, I am almost to the salon when I get a call from Nailbox and the woman on the phone tells me I have lost my $30 deposit because I am over 10 minutes late. I tell her I am about 2 minutes away and asked if Michelle was still able to take me, if she can't I completely understand. She tells me she is still able to take me but that they are going to take my deposit and I will now have to pay full price for the service. Now I understand that I should have called and let them know I was running late but really I was just focused on getting there as fast as I could. My eta was 12:12 and she called me at 12:10 to tell me I had lost my deposit. I decided to cancel my appointment which was very disappointing because the nail artist is actually really good and I was looking forward to the appointment. I was never told of this policy on the phone when booking the two appointments I've made with them or in person and this should be clearly stated to every new client. The policy is stated on their website but I've only booked through phone. I assumed the 30 dollar deposit was for no shows which is usually the case for appointments. I also think it's interesting that she was still willing to take me but the deposit would still be lost, it's a little harsh for a new client who was just running late and was unaware of the policy. Ultimately it's just bad business because they lost a client who would have given them a lot of business for 30 dollars. read more

So I just moved to Southern California and have been looking for a new nail salon. I found an Nail Box on Instagram and really liked their nail art. I made an appointment that very same day (on a Saturday, that is amazing). When I arrive to my appointment, I was absolutely in love with the aesthetic of the salon. You can tell this place has a lot of pride, and how they present themselves. Now when I came to my appointment, not only did I love my nails at the end of it but I completely enjoyed my time there. All the workers are so welcoming and foster such a lively and positive environment. That was hands-down the most fun I have had getting my nails done.
