I hate bugs. I hate anything to do with those little creatures. They're gross, make me feel gross,…read moreand immediately feel like vomiting. Last night my husband noticed something in our pantry. Upon further inspection, it looked like a bug, it looked like several bugs in our pantry. I did what any sane person would do, I threw all the food out. I know extreme, but I was grossed out. I immediately contacted HomeTeam, but they were closed. To my surprise they had a number you could text. I texted them my question and Sean/Shawn (sorry I can't recall the correct spelling), asked to see a picture. I sent him a pic of the bug, he immediately said it was pantry moths, and that they could have someone come out on Friday at 8am. He instructed me to find the "host". He mentioned they typically get in via grains/rice/pasta based foods. After careful inspection our entire bag of dog food was the culprit...GROSS (another story for another day and now I'm apologizing to my poor pup Dash for feeding him moths). We got rid of the entire bag, we got rid of the vacuum sealed container that the food was kept in. Sean called us the next day, stated what the technician would be doing to rectify the problem on Friday. Said it's a pretty typical problem, and can come from anything you get at a pet store or grocery store. Looking forward to someone from HomeTeam coming out tomorrow to get rid of these gross insects. Until then, I'll be sleeping with one eye open. Pros: -Rapid response from HomeTeam -Friendly service -Contacted me during their off hours Cons: -Moths in my pet's dog food Tips: If you see something, don't ignore the problem, these things multiply rapidly and it's GROSS.

This is my first time using HomeTeam & the Taexx system. I have to admit that I was skeptical at…read morefirst, having never heard of the system. After using it for a year, I decided to cancel my other pest control service, which I thought was the best ever. I am not saying my previous service wasn't the best ever but until using the taexx system from home team, I didn't know what I was missing! The HomeTeam team is very personable, very cordial, very punctual, very polite, and very thorough! Online billing is awesome, as well! Since moving into my home..... I haven't seen ANY unwanted critters inside the house! Give them a shot! You won't regret it!

We had two inspections done for two different houses using this company. The first, I apologize for…read morethe lack of professional behavior of the seller. I unknowingly subject the inspection team to someone who refused to get dressed! The seller was in his underwear and flat out refused to get dressed. The seller wasn't even supposed to be in the house, he lived in a different state and drove in the night before the inspection. Even the sellers realtor was mortified! The inspection went on, we refused to reschedule- after all that- the seller disclosed more information about the house that left us no choice other than to back out of the contract. Funny enough, the same team ended up doing the inspection for the house we bought. My father-in-law met them at the house to review everything with them and they joked about the crazy Texan from the first house. The house we ended up buying had a bunch of minor problems that we are slowly addressing. The report they provided is my hit list to fix around the house. Per my report, electrical seemed to be the most pressing issue and we had an electrician give us a quote even before we owned the house. The detail that goes into a home inspection is incredible. Some things are easy fixes and others may require professionals to fix. I appreciate the thoroughness of the inspection. Dad appreciated the levity and joking about the previous situation. The report comes with pictures of any issues they noted, as well as an easy to follow summary with red triangle alerts for the most pressing items that need a professional to handle, a blue tool icon for things that a handyman could fix for us and a minus icon for projects that we could do ourselves and/or get a handyman for. As with any inspection- no one catches everything. We discovered a leak in the roof near the chimney after buying the house. All in all, I was pleased with the inspection and report.
