The first time was for a bat inside our pool enclosure, which Andrew caught and relocated. He also sealed all potential entries to prevent bats or other critters from getting into our attic. The second time was for field rats, again, inside our pool enclosure. Since our home backs up to preserves, it is not uncommon for critters to want to invite themselves in. Austin set traps and Andrew sealed potential entry points to the pool enclosure and again up on the roof (a new roof from the previous one he had previously sealed) to prevent entry into the attic. For now, we are free of uninvited guests, thanks to Austin and Andrew. They were great to work with and we will use their service again in the future, if needed.

They came out very promptly and assessed the evidence of the wild boar destruction path in the back grass area. They then returned the next day with a massage cage they put up in just the right spot. Each side of the cage had to be wheeled back one by one it's so heavy. They put up a pole with a camera so they could start remotely observing activity and baited inside the cage. After just a couple days we had 5 inside around 8pm. I'm thinking okay we got em. They're like no we're waiting because we want to get them all and we think there's more. I'm thinking we lost our chance. Haha the very next night, exact same time 9 wild boar entered the cage! They remotely dropped the cage and notified us right away. They kept in contact communication with us and sent us pictures from the cameras leading up to this point. They were always available for questions or concerns. The very next morning they all arrived to humanely remove each wild boar from the cage. They even utilized water hoses to keep hosing them inside the trailer to keep them cooled off the best they could. In this Florida heat and dealing with wild boars, which is NOT an easy task, they were all so mannerly and gracious. They kept the cage up over the weekend just in case there were more, which there was not so they came back after a few days and removed the cage. Clearly they know exactly what they're doing and are great at it with each other in their communications and game planning. Our dog has even chased it a few times late at night. It was our tree and hedge guy that found a burrow underneath our A/C unit. Of all the places why ours??? I did a little research and found CritterPro. They have good reviews so I sent them a message on their website and they called me within 15 minutes. I spoke to Edward and described the problem. He gave me a reasonable estimate and we set up a time for him to come up and set a trap. On the day, he called me about and hour early asking if he could swing by and I agreed. Edward was really nice. I showed him all the holes and the a/c unit. He stated that the A/C unit doesn't appear to have been used recently and offered to fill it in. As for the holes in our fence, we could block it with rocks or pavers to prevent them from slipping in again. If the critter comes back he said to give him a call. Let's see if he comes back. Well, it did. I called back and Edward came back out with a trap. He explained to me how the trap worked and how to free any other animals that may get caught in it by accident. The very next day the armadillo was caught, I called them, they took it away and refilled the whole it made. Two days later, another hole was created. Ugh, another one! This time Austin came out and reset the trap. He was so polite and answered any questions I had and tested the trap at least 3 times to make sure it worked. It took few days and even had to had to flip the trap around as we heard some squeaking from the hole, then we finally got'em! They came back out to pick up the trap and the picked up the little guy. Unfortunately that wasn't the last one, so we had another trap set up and caught a third one! We thought that there might be a fourth one but all we've caught so far is a possum. It's been pretty quiet so far. Hopefully that's the last of them. Thanks CritterPro for everything!

When we first signed up with Kingsfish pest,…read morethe deciding factor for choosing them over Turner Pest control was that (we were told) they would come spray as many times as we requested, in between regular quarterly services, as well as change out the glue traps for us when they were on the premises. And so they did for the duration of our contract. We had zero complaints until our technician was recently promoted and we were assigned someone else. This new tech would come spray our house, not change out the traps, and leave before even knocking on our front door. After a couple of times of this, I called in and requested that someone speak with our tech and ask him to knock on the door so we knew he was there, as well as have him change out the glue traps. The third time he came, he still didn't let us know he was there or change out the glue traps. I called the owner again and requested a new tech. I explained the situation and verbatim said, "To be honest, changing the glue traps really freaks us out. It would be great if we could get a tech to do it while he's here." The owner completely understood and said he would assign us one of his best techs. Fast forward to today, I had previously called in for an in-between service spray because we found a live scorpion in our living room (my husband almost stepped on it barefoot). On the phone I mentioned there was also a scarlett kingsnake that was on our glue trap in the garage, so if he could also change that out when he arrived, I'd appreciate it. When the tech arrived, he said he wanted to speak with me. He explained (in a manner less than cordial) that I had been calling in more than a usual customer would; that techs didn't usually make trips out just to change glue traps. I reminded him that we had actually found a scorpion inside and that I didn't just call for the glue trap but for him to spray. He said that it was normal to see bugs inside the house and that if he continued to spray as often as he was currently spraying our exterior, that he would kill the plants. He also reiterated that he wan't responsible for changing out the glue traps- that he could give me glue traps and I could change them on my own. I told him I understood and that he was free to leave without spraying or changing the traps. I also mentioned that this conversation could have just been a phone call instead of him driving out and me re-arranging my schedule to meet him for nothing. While I understand what the tech was trying to explain, the whole purpose of us paying for their services is to not see bugs in the house. I do feel like I was promised one thing on the phone and got something entirely different. I miss our old tech. Guess I'll give Turner a try.
