Quarterly service done by Austen who is always knowledgeable, friendly and professional

I'm saddened to write this review, but here we are. When we first signed up with Kingsfish pest, the deciding factor for choosing them over Turner Pest control was that (we were told) they would come spray as many times as we requested, in between regular quarterly services, as well as change out the glue traps for us when they were on the premises. And so they did for the duration of our contract. We had zero complaints until our technician was recently promoted and we were assigned someone else. This new tech would come spray our house, not change out the traps, and leave before even knocking on our front door. After a couple of times of this, I called in and requested that someone speak with our tech and ask him to knock on the door so we knew he was there, as well as have him change out the glue traps. The third time he came, he still didn't let us know he was there or change out the glue traps. I called the owner again and requested a new tech. I explained the situation and verbatim said, "To be honest, changing the glue traps really freaks us out. It would be great if we could get a tech to do it while he's here." The owner completely understood and said he would assign us one of his best techs. Fast forward to today, I had previously called in for an in-between service spray because we found a live scorpion in our living room (my husband almost stepped on it barefoot). On the phone I mentioned there was also a scarlett kingsnake that was on our glue trap in the garage, so if he could also change that out when he arrived, I'd appreciate it. When the tech arrived, he said he wanted to speak with me. He explained (in a manner less than cordial) that I had been calling in more than a usual customer would; that techs didn't usually make trips out just to change glue traps. I reminded him that we had actually found a scorpion inside and that I didn't just call for the glue trap but for him to spray. He said that it was normal to see bugs inside the house and that if he continued to spray as often as he was currently spraying our exterior, that he would kill the plants. He also reiterated that he wan't responsible for changing out the glue traps- that he could give me glue traps and I could change them on my own. I told him I understood and that he was free to leave without spraying or changing the traps. I also mentioned that this conversation could have just been a phone call instead of him driving out and me re-arranging my schedule to meet him for nothing. While I understand what the tech was trying to explain, the whole purpose of us paying for their services is to not see bugs in the house. I do feel like I was promised one thing on the phone and got something entirely different. I miss our old tech. Guess I'll give Turner a try. read more

We've been King Fish customers for a little over 6mo now. As first time homebuyers, we were initially really attracted to their no contract commitment policy. This allowed us to test their services out without being on the hook for a full year. Our home initially had scorpions, roaches and spiders as co-residents. Kyle has been our specialist from the beginning and did a good job at explaining some of the factors that made our home attractive to the critters. He initially had to come out twice to get the correct combo of chemicals to deter the scorpions but since then we haven't seen a single critter in our home. We look forward to being long term customers and appreciate King Fish's upfront information and no hassle marketing/customer support. read more

I have been a Kingfish customer for many years to prevent rodents and other pests from making their home in our home. That said, I can speak highly of their service and professionalism. Moreover, however, they are great people and honest. We have dealt directly with Joe and his son Reid for years. Just today, Reid was at our home doing an annual inspection and saw that we were struggling with fixing a flat tire. Reid saw us monkeying around with the jack and came in to save the day in the blazing heat. He helped us change the flat tire and got us off and going. We've been with them for a couple years now for termite prevention/ inspection and are very happy. Just got our inspection today and tech Don was great. Took time to answer questions, replaced/ reset many bait stations that weren't flush with the ground, noted an ant issue without giving me some hard upsell. It would have been easy for him to blow it off but he is clearly too conscientious to do so. Office staff and timeliness of appointments have also been perfect. We hire Kingfish Pest Control a few times a year for their high-impact mosquito treatment. They have great prices and are friendly and effective. Setting up appointments/service is also very convenient - you can even text them! Michael from Inspect-All came out during the agreed on appointment. Not only was he courteous, he also made sure to respect our home by putting on booties. There was a detailed inspection report provided after he finished the inspection. The prices were also given prior to him leaving. We have not gone with Inspect-All and will probably make that decision sometime in the future depending on a few factors. I do like the fact that they follow up with you, but people do work and the follow-ups can be a little excessive with as many emails and phone calls I received. Still, 5 stars for me. read more

Found them through Angies list and lived up to their name. Marty was earlier than expected and completed in a timely manner and was very thorough. The products were completed within 48 hours and they had a good process and system in place for payment. Would use them again as future home inspectors. Having a toddler in the house I didn't want to spray anything inside so I pulled up Yelp on my phone and requested a quote from Kingfish Pest Control through the app. I got a response in less than 10 minutes and followed it up with a phone call to set up my service call. I was quoted a very good price for quarterly pest control services and the appointment was made. The technician arrived on time on the scheduled day and walked me through everything he was doing. Once he finished he explained any additional things he noticed like wasp nests and such and that he took care of them. I haven't seen any bugs since then so needless to say I'm a happy customer. Based on the quality of their service and the pricing I signed up for quarterly pest services and highly recommend them to anyone in need of pest control.
