They are VERY expensive! Also, the Rep who came out, says he's a manager, just told me lies about my lawn's condition. That the excessive weeds were caused by mowing too short. My mowing people cut at 4.25 inches which is plenty good. i suspect they only take customers with good lawns to begin with and lie to everyone else while they over-charge. read more

If there is ever an issue, he comes out quickly and has always solved any problem - He knows lawns and he knows bugs. first and foremost the ladies in the office were fantastic as far as the field reps and managers different story I had 2 reps in the first year one seemed like he never put any chemicals on the lawn to the last one who overdid it with them and caused damage to the lawn manager came out and claimed I did notwater the lawn enough to were the field rep said I was overwatering in the meanwhile my lawn kept deteriorating. So I moved on and till this day the lawn has never recouped Be very careful what company you get to take care of you especially of you take pride in the presentation of it . I want to commend the effectiveness and professionalism of Trutco lawn service personnel in treating our lawn. Their chemicals have continuously eradicated any sprouting weeds during our service year while enhancing the growth of our ever present green lawn. Sometimes it pays to give a business a second chance. I must say they are quite different from other companies out there for one, they treat your lawn once a month most of the companies it's every other month. The current area manager is wonderful, and knowledge and professionalism. I had a small concern this week and they came out right away. Today was a bad day. We have been using Trutco for quite some time and I honestly can't complain about the state of my yard (currently it's brown--but we know this is seasonal/dormant and normal, but typically speaking they do a very good job keeping the weeds away and our grass green). The customer service I have received is where I have the issue. I received my text message last night informing me that my yard would be treated today. We have a dog door installed in our home so our 3 dogs can go in and out as they please so we appreciate the heads up. This morning I lock the dogs inside and cancel my afternoon plans so that I can come home early and let them outside to use the bathroom. When the technician arrived at 10:12am, he rang our "ring" doorbell and my husband (who is currently out of town) answered the video call, and the technician told him the dogs were outside so he couldn't do the backyard. My husband said okay and just told him to go ahead and do the front. Then my husband texts me and relays the conversation and I inform him that the dogs are in fact locked inside (I thought maybe I was going crazy, so I even checked the furbo, nope, safe inside). I was busy at work so my husband called the company and rescheduled for the following day. When he told me this, I realized that would not work for me, as the plans I had for this afternoon - I had already pushed to tomorrow, and once again, no one would be able to let the dogs outside. At my first available break, I call Trutco at 10:33 (21 MINUTES AFTER THE GUY RANG OUR DOORBELL) and tell the company that my husband was misinformed, the dogs were inside despite what the technician stated, and that he needed to get the backyard done today. The woman I spoke with then said that the technician never stated the dogs were outside, he simply asked if they were (basically calling my husband a liar--and for the record, my Ring audio recording confirms that is not what he said) and then says that he can't treat it today because he has already moved on (it's only been 21 minutes since he rang the doorbell?? how far could he have gotten?!). I tell her why I cant make tomorrow work and reiterate that I need it done today and she informs me that it isn't going to happen. At that point I was so angry and upset that I told her it either needed to get done today or I was going to cancel my contract. They must not need my business, because she went with option 2. I've attached photos of the Ring log, the time stamp from my phone call, and the invoice stating the dogs were outside when they were not. And I'm happy to email the video/audio from the ring if they would like to make things right. read more

I sent a message through their portal waited a few days and finally received a call from the office manager, I am guessing. She set up the appt for the following Monday. She told me the tech would call me 30 minutes prior I said this is great because I have dogs I need to have inside. I never heard from the tech but walked outside their was a card with an estimate?????? I called the tech, Brandon, and asked "when did you come to my home" he said " 7:30 or 8:00. I didn't see any lights on so I didn't knock". If I am not mistaken that is after sunrise; not many lights needed. I asked " how did you see the back yard". he said "he looked over the fence". He might of seen a 1/4 of the backyard. I dont know why he didn't just call first. I was expecting him. On that conversation I spoke to him about a lot of items and he gave me a price.
