I'm saddened to write this review, but here we are. When we first signed up with Kingsfish pest,…read morethe deciding factor for choosing them over Turner Pest control was that (we were told) they would come spray as many times as we requested, in between regular quarterly services, as well as change out the glue traps for us when they were on the premises. And so they did for the duration of our contract. We had zero complaints until our technician was recently promoted and we were assigned someone else. This new tech would come spray our house, not change out the traps, and leave before even knocking on our front door. After a couple of times of this, I called in and requested that someone speak with our tech and ask him to knock on the door so we knew he was there, as well as have him change out the glue traps. The third time he came, he still didn't let us know he was there or change out the glue traps. I called the owner again and requested a new tech. I explained the situation and verbatim said, "To be honest, changing the glue traps really freaks us out. It would be great if we could get a tech to do it while he's here." The owner completely understood and said he would assign us one of his best techs. Fast forward to today, I had previously called in for an in-between service spray because we found a live scorpion in our living room (my husband almost stepped on it barefoot). On the phone I mentioned there was also a scarlett kingsnake that was on our glue trap in the garage, so if he could also change that out when he arrived, I'd appreciate it. When the tech arrived, he said he wanted to speak with me. He explained (in a manner less than cordial) that I had been calling in more than a usual customer would; that techs didn't usually make trips out just to change glue traps. I reminded him that we had actually found a scorpion inside and that I didn't just call for the glue trap but for him to spray. He said that it was normal to see bugs inside the house and that if he continued to spray as often as he was currently spraying our exterior, that he would kill the plants. He also reiterated that he wan't responsible for changing out the glue traps- that he could give me glue traps and I could change them on my own. I told him I understood and that he was free to leave without spraying or changing the traps. I also mentioned that this conversation could have just been a phone call instead of him driving out and me re-arranging my schedule to meet him for nothing. While I understand what the tech was trying to explain, the whole purpose of us paying for their services is to not see bugs in the house. I do feel like I was promised one thing on the phone and got something entirely different. I miss our old tech. Guess I'll give Turner a try.

I've had a termite bond on my house since they began treating it, and in southeast Georgia, you absolutely need that. I recently signed a contract with Aptive Pest Control, but I decided to stay with Orkin because the service AND cost are much better. If you have Orkin, STAY with them, and if you are considering a new pest control company, I highly recommend Orkin. You will be happy you did.

The service tech was reckless and did not care about my property. Subsequently, the pavers have lost their original color from the abrasive and harsh chemicals used to remove the excess concrete that the tech used in drilling and filling holes.

We had two inspections done for two different houses using this company. The first, I apologize for…read morethe lack of professional behavior of the seller. I unknowingly subject the inspection team to someone who refused to get dressed! The seller was in his underwear and flat out refused to get dressed. The seller wasn't even supposed to be in the house, he lived in a different state and drove in the night before the inspection. Even the sellers realtor was mortified! The inspection went on, we refused to reschedule- after all that- the seller disclosed more information about the house that left us no choice other than to back out of the contract. Funny enough, the same team ended up doing the inspection for the house we bought. My father-in-law met them at the house to review everything with them and they joked about the crazy Texan from the first house. The house we ended up buying had a bunch of minor problems that we are slowly addressing. The report they provided is my hit list to fix around the house. Per my report, electrical seemed to be the most pressing issue and we had an electrician give us a quote even before we owned the house. The detail that goes into a home inspection is incredible. Some things are easy fixes and others may require professionals to fix. I appreciate the thoroughness of the inspection. Dad appreciated the levity and joking about the previous situation. The report comes with pictures of any issues they noted, as well as an easy to follow summary with red triangle alerts for the most pressing items that need a professional to handle, a blue tool icon for things that a handyman could fix for us and a minus icon for projects that we could do ourselves and/or get a handyman for. As with any inspection- no one catches everything. We discovered a leak in the roof near the chimney after buying the house. All in all, I was pleased with the inspection and report.

I was a Turner Pest Control customer for 11 years. I have now canceled all services -- pest control…read moreincluded -- and this is why. On March 30th, a technician performed a granular fertilizer application on my entire lawn (or so they said they did). Their own inspection report (Invoice #A621944902) documents Time In: 1:40 PM, Time Out: 1:47 PM -- a 7-minute job. The result was uneven, striped fertilizer coverage across my lawn. See my photos. I reported the issue. A return visit was scheduled for April 30th. No one showed, and no one called. When I followed up this week, I was told a manager would contact me upon arrival. A technician arrived on May 7th and performed a re-treatment, but no manager appeared, and no one addressed the damage or took any accountability. Their pest control service is competent. But this company wasted my time, damaged my yard, and never took responsibility. I shouldn't have to fight this hard for a service I'm paying for. I would not recommend Turner's lawn care program, and I no longer trust them with any of my services.

Highly recommended!…read more My parents have been happy and loyal Royal Palm Pest Control customers for years, so when I moved to the area a year ago and was looking for a pest control company, they suggested I give Royal Palm a ring. And I'm so glad I did, for 2 key reasons: 1.) IT WORKS: From a purely functional perspective, the treatment definitely helps keep pests at bay. For the first few weeks after we moved into the house, spiders, ants, and palmetto bugs were nearly everyday occurrences (as they tend to be in Florida). After Royal Palm treated, it felt like we had our house back. We pay for quarterly treatments, and while they offer free interim treatments if we notice an uptick in pests in the home, we've never had to avail ourselves of that offer. If we ever see an insect in the house, it's rare, and they've usually given up the ghost by the time we find them. 2.) CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SPECTACULAR: They always call US to schedule our quarterly treatments, which is a nice perk because I'd never remember. They're always friendly and professional. And our technician (Craig) is a super nice guy. Very efficient, always on time, AND he wears booties over his shoes when he comes into the house, which is such a nice touch. We like to maintain a "shoe-free" home to keep the floors clean, but we don't typically ask guests to remove their shoes because we don't want to make folks feel uncomfortable. So the fact that he wears paper booties over his shoes as a matter of course is just an incredibly thoughtful thing to do. Again, highly recommended!
