I have been with Orkin for almost 20 years, and their service has always been good. I've never had any trouble reaching them on the phone, the technicians are very good at notifying me when they're coming to treat my house, and they do a very good job. I've had a termite bond on my house since they began treating it, and in southeast Georgia, you absolutely need that. I recently signed a contract with Aptive Pest Control, but I decided to stay with Orkin because the service AND cost are much better. Okay, I dropped Orkin because Pensacola location gave me back service. When I moved from Louisiana I had Orkin however Pensacola didn't do me right. I moved to Jacksonville & they said if I come back then they'll take care of me. Our, tech is named Patrick Cornwall & when I say he's a professional, take my word on it. In Louisiana, I had Alexis & she was magnificent. Patrick, this guy is amazing, the family loves him. Personally I would absolutely stay away because once they get you to sign that contract, they will have no mercy on your soul. They throw their hands in the air and will say, you shouldn't have signed the agreement. The only thing about integrity and this company is the contracts they enforce. read more

Your customer service is terrible. One of your tech wouldn't even talk to me. told her i would open the gate to the back yard and that person sat in the drive way for about 10 mins and drove off. really disappointed in your service and they never go in the back yard and that's where most of the problem is. read more

Julie called early to see if I was available for my pest control service before 4pm. I told her it was ok. She arrived shortly thereafter, did a thorough job, & was very personable. I am in the process of donating much of my clutter, so I told her I would need to call them again after I clear out a few rooms. One of my cats was hiding behind the waste basket & 'scared the dickens' out of both of us when she came scrambling over the waste basket! I still can't find her. Hopefully, she wasn't in the line of fire when that area was sprayed. Both of my cats are very shy around strangers, so she will probably wander back in around mealtime. Anyway, I have only been with Orkin for a short time, but no complaints so far. Would recommend them to anyone looking for good pest control service. read more

I had a Pharoah ant issue and solicited Orkin services about 6 months ago. I am very satisfied with the services I've received so far. I believe their frequent treatment plans in response to weather changes and one's unique home characteristics are efficient. In terms of customer service, it is easy to contact the company each time I have a concern or change in plans. I have always been addressed in a professional and dignified manner. While each Orkin Tech is different - some are more detail oriented than others - all of the Techs who have treated my home have been kind. Kindness doesn't Trump knowledge, though, so when you get a technician who is thorough, kind, humble enough to admit when they don't know, and knowledgeable, then you must request their service all of the time. As a result, I highly recommend Pierre. Most importantly, my ant and bug problem has abated significantly, so I'm glad I chose Orkin. read more

Orkin is a large organization and they are independently owned. Maybe, maybe not. In any event this branch has great technicans. Larry and Eric have made all the difference at my new home. Not only are they both professional but they are personable too. And that makes a big difference. Very happy to have them in my home. Excellent service. can I give negative stars! I had a 10-12 window... got out of work so they could finally complete the inspection from APRIL. I got there at 10:03 and he was already gone. The tech and the manager basically said too bad lady... you have been a customer for 18 years... we will NOT wait for you EVEN though we cashed your check 6 months ago and NEVER completed the service. I canceled my account after 18 years... I better get that refund check for not completing the service or I will be contacting my lawyer.... RUN.... RUN as fast as you can!!! We saw several termites in our home last week and immediately called Orkin. We had an inspector come to our home and he did a very sketchy inspection (peeked his head in the attic and under our house but nothing more). My husband signed a contract for a full home treatment per the first inspectors recommendation (he was clearly a salesman with little regard for our actual infestation issues). Despite my bad feeling we had the technician out to our home for the treatment this morning and when he arrived we shared our reservations about the first inspection. He did a full inspection of our home (spent 30 minutes in the attic alone) and came out with no evidence of a termite infestation. He then called his supervisor Scott Geiling to come a assist with the difference in opinion between the first inspection and his. Scott arrived and was nothing but plesant, professional and helpful. After speaking with the inspector and with us for a ful twenty minutes he told us he did not want to be un-ethical by continuing with the full treatment as it did not appear to be needed at all. He advised us to keep an eye out and look a little further into some rotting boards on our siding and if we experienced another "swarm" to contact him personally and he would do another inspection free of charge. To be honest I cannot rememeber the last time I felt like hugging a service person for simply being honest and saving myself and my husband our hard earned money!! One day we came home and noticed a flood of ants pouring out of an outlet in our living room. Most all of them were dead upon reaching the carpet except a few of the biggest ones who were struggling farther out (We spray our home with Ortho Home Defense). We went out and noticed an ant mound on the side of the house closest to the outlet and destroyed it. A few days later some giant ants were running in the bedroom closest to the living room so we called Orkin. We had carpenter ants. We signed up for a 7 month service at a staggering amount but decided it would be worth it. The technician came out and asked us questions and didn't seem to really be interested in solving our ant problem. I alerted him that we already had the yard sprayed and we sprayed the house with Ortho which killed them on contact. We just needed to locate where they were coming from. He stated our attic was "hot" upon peeking his head in and didn't go up there. As of our "followup", the man didn't call beforehand and came first thing in the morning even though we stated we would not be home until after 4pm. He sprayed the outside of the house and wished us luck. We already have our yard sprayed! When we called Orkin the lady who answered didn't seem worried that we were upset about the lack of services rendered so we cancelled our services.
