Despite 12 months of professional 'treatments,' the roaches are still here. After spending over $500 with no resolution, I decided to cancel. I have been using B & B for once a year pest control, and termite bond for about 8 years. I love the service. The technicians are friendly and professional. Every year I have the same technician unless they change jobs. It is reassuring knowing the same person who came last year is taking care of things this year. The office staff is great. They call back. They work with you on billing and paying. The one area I can recommend improvement is in scheduling. They still engage in the old time cable scheduling practice of providing a service window. At this point I think all professionals should be able to pinpoint an arrival time within a 60 minute window. What they do very well is call before coming by in case you don't feel like sitting around your house until they get there. read more

I have been with them for a few years. I called to renew my service, and explained to whomever I spoke to I needed someone ASAP. The earliest she could get someone out to me was was almost two weeks away, and in the middle of the day. Um.... I work! Anyway, I told her that wouldn't work, that I may need to find someone else, all she said was "ok". I would think in this day and age that customer service, or retaining your current customer base would be a priority, apparently not. Maybe that's why the rating is so low. I did find another service, able to get out to me in a day, with a much higher rating. Win win for me. read more

I hired B&B because they already had the termite bond from the builder. Big mistake! Our grass started to deteriorate slowly at first with patches of brown and then nothing but roots in places. It kept getting worse and worse as time went on despite complaining about weeds and pests. They said it must have been a fungus or something before they took over service and it wasn't their fault. The fastest way to lose me as a customer is to treat me like I'm stupid. Don't talk down to me. I could care less that you're a family owned business that's been around for years. Sending me an invoice for service not rendered just because my home builder used you when they built my house is presumptuous and predatory business practices. Your company didn't even try to contact us to schedule a date, you just sent us an invoice with a note on it saying if it hasn't been paid, we will accrue late fees. Late fees for what? When service was never scheduled or rendered?!? This kind of treatment is exactly what friends and neighbors have warned us about. Your company may be a good one, but customer care and service needs to be better. And when a customer wants to cancel their account, don't patronize them. If you had said, "what can we do to keep you as a customer?" our phone call would have been different. This business was contracted by my home builder to provide the original termite treatment for the house for one year. After 6 months int he home I was offered a chance to renew the treatments for another year. I declined at that time. Now, after being in the home for a year, I have began to receive fake invoices from them with threats of collections charges for the next year's service. I feel that this is an unconscionable business practice seemingly designed to trick consumers into paying and continuing service with them. I would recommend steering clear of this business as if the level of trustworthiness that they display in their sales/advertising practices is any indicator of the quality and thoroughness of their service then practically any one of their competitors would be preferable. It should be noted that I have left messages with them in an attempt to clarify the situation and clear this up and have not received any return calls. read more
