This company cleaned up all my Live Oak trees as they were overgrown and dangerous. They took two days and cleared up every piece of cut-down tree limbs and bark that hit the ground. They also cleaned out a lot of Spanish Moss covering the trees they trimmed. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their trees trimmed. I just had J & J Tree Experts come to my property in Orange Park and remove 6 trees along with stump grinding, tree and debris removal as well. I was absolutely impressed with how well the crew worked together like a well oiled machine in getting the job done in a very professionally and expeditiously manner. It was obvious this crew were at the top of their craft. Honestly when they left, after their clean up and raking, my yard looked better than it did before they got there. J&J Removed a large three trunk tree from my yard two years ago. They did so very quickly and professionally. They ground the stump and cleaned up the entire site, blew off the roof and left the entire site as though no one had ever been there. I highly recommend them to anyone. In February of this year a neighbors large water oak fell on my house, utility trailer and daughters car. J&J showed up and had it off the house and vehicles and gone within an hour of the time they showed up. The tree fell on my house at 10:26pm the night before and by 2pm in the afternoon of the next day it was gone. Again I am very pleased with their work. Richard L. I live in Orange Park, Florida. For an industry that largely depends on positive word of mouth, shocked and angered does not even begin to describe my state of mind after receiving such abject disrespect and inconsiderate treatment from J&J Tree Service. Not only have I missed work waiting for them to show up as promised, but also the attitude from the office workers has not only been unhelpful when they actually do answer the phone, but also nonchalant and lacking genuine empathy. Even though they are more expensive than some, they recently did work for my parents after Hurricane Irma so we set up an estimate Friday 9/29 - and after agreeing to the price, was told by Jaimie that they would be there Saturday or if not, definitely Monday morning. I made arrangements to be home, but woke up Saturday to rain. No problem- although I was surprised that I did not receive a call confirming the change, but made arrangements to miss work to be home Monday since that's what I was told. I called several times on Monday trying to reach someone in the office to confirm. The morning progressed to afternoon and still no contact. I finally reached someone in the office who told me they'd try to reach the crew but really had no way to reach them in the field and did not know where I was on the schedule. I asked them to please relay that I cannot continue to miss work. Let's schedule for next Saturday. All day Monday - no contact. Tuesday, still no word. I went to work. My husband was on his way out the door to go to work at 4pm Tuesday afternoon and they show up. No call, No notice, No information that this was the plan. When my husband explained that this was incredibly inconvenient because he was going to WORK and to please contact me to schedule, the worker apologized and said they'd be there Wednesday morning between 8-830AM so I could still get to work and we could get this dangerously leaning tree taken care of before it falls on our house. Wednesday morning - NO SHOW. NO CALL. Zero communication. Clearly my time is not as valuable as their time and basic communication is too much to ask of this company. When I called again, I received the same answer as before - we have no idea where he is, but we'll try to get ahold of him. How do you run a business this way?! If you cannot keep track of where your crews are, then how do you know if you're being paid or that work is actually being done?! If you can't reach them, how can you relay mission critical information? Obviously, you can't. If was possible to describe worse than poor service, this would be a prime example of an epic failure to conduct business. Buyer beware - tree services are usually dire needs and not wants. And when you need them the most - they may never show up. read more

Had J&J come out to trim some trees away from our roof. One tree was an extremely large oak tree which went from the front to the back of the house. The crew that came out were very polite and got the job done quickly. Once they were finished I figured I would have to do some cleanup but nope! There was not even little twigs left behind, they even cleaned the valley on my roof! First rate company and the only tree company I will hire from now on. read more

Have to begin stating that I have used J & J 5x before this incident. Long story short folks, called to have an estimate done, went great, little heavy on the price, but said yes anyway. Called and confirmed and said Jamie would be getting back to me. Then 3 weeks go by, I call and she states something must have went south regarding communication with whomever. So she calls back 6 hours later to state that I have a Thursday set date between 8:30 and 11:00. Thursday arrives, its 11:30 and Jamie states it will be 1:30 before arrival......7pm is here and NO PHONE CALL. This happened around 9 years ago, identical situation, but this is so unprofessional, being a business owner myself, communication is vital. I stated that I would discourage anyone from using their services in the future. Their reviews show a pattern of unprofessionalism, as this is. Look for yourself, please think twice before using this service, good luck!! read more

Horrible Service!!! Called Mr. Green for an estimate, he showed up as expected, we agreed upon a price and time and sealed the deal with a handshake. Guess a handshake means nothing to Mr. Green. He never showed up to take down the tree. I called his office that afternoon and they apologized and contacted him, they called me back and said sorry again and that he had forgotten to put it on the schedule but that they had me down for first thing the next morning. Guess what, they were a no show again and no call. Not a way to do business. Would not recommend J & J to anyone. read more
