I had a tree scheduled to be removed at noon for $700 to include stump grinding which could not be done due to the location but would be cut flush. I had someone show up the day before to take a look and they said they would call when they were on their way. I waited until 3:15 and no call so I went to check my next door neighbors dogs. I get a call they are on site and I run right over and they are already in my back yard and have the tree cut down hanging from the crane. I said I did not think they should have crawled over the gate and I was told they lifted the person over with the crane. This area houses 2 pet tortoises that I needed to relocate and I have 2 large dogs and the back doors were all open and someone could have got hurt to include my 4 pets. They also damaged a limb on the tree beside it and instead of cutting it away clean they used the bucket claws to grab at all the branches and rip them off. I did ask if they had a pole saw to cut a branch hanging over my patio and I was told we may be able to do it for $40. I feel like this service did not go right for many reasons. The crew on site seemed to think they did everything by the book and I disagree. ******* I did contact the comany and they got right back with me and said they could come over on the weekend to make it right. The only think they could make right was to cut the stump lower. Never once offered a discount for the issues. read more

Had a huge tree that split at a fork head height up and was beginning to crack and twist. Lucas and the owner came out same day to take a look and access what we felt was an emergency situation, as two homes were threatened by the potential tree fall. Reaching this tree in the backyard over two houses, a new drain field and removing it as it was already beginning to drop (6" in one day over the fence and on top of a shed) and doing no harm was quite a feat. Felt the team there was never less than super kind and professional. While the tree wasn't inexpensive - it required Eagerton to rent a bigger crane than they personally had, the day of service came together seamlessly and they did a fantastic job. These people were hired by my neighbor, not me. The system wouldn't let me leave less rhan 1 star or i would have. These people are less than rude and incompetant. Started out trespassing in my back yard and leaving the gate wide open so my puppy could get out un noticed They progressed to cutting down the schrubs growing against the fromt of my house. They walked thru my yard, and used my yard for their work all morning. Then instead of offering to replace the plants they denied responsibility and blamed it on my neighbor and accused me of harrasing their employees for letting them know they were braking the law. Oh yes, cutting down peoples shrubs, trespassing and causing harm to pets, livestock and people is breaking the law. read more

I had a tree removed on 8-30-2022 from the back yard of my home. I knew a crane would be used in the job. What I didn't know was a 80, 000. Pound crane was being used. Upon the arrival of Eagerton tree srvs I advised them that we have had a lot of rain and that the night before there was a major down pour. The yard was very wet. And asked if they thought we should reschedule. I was told it would be fine. I was told they would pull into yard and cut small tree pieces and bring them over the house to the front yard for cutting. I agreed and went inside. At 9 am Lucas knocked on front door and advised me they were almost done and asked how was I going to pay them. He wanted to make sure I paid them before they moved the crane. Which was parked in my 60 year old driveway. When I walked outside I was shocked to see this massage crane right outside of my front door. I paid them and in 30 minutes my life is now up side down. Why?? Because when they went to leave they tryed to drive off the driveway and the left wheels drove off and on to the very wet grass and got stuck. The weight and pressure from crane then rolled up and cracked the driveway into 4 large pieces and the dirt is a 1.5th high next to the broken concrete. I asked what are we going to do? I was told sorry not our problem. All cost to just fix the driveway is on me. Which is probably going to cost more then the tree removal. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I can't afford this repair. I couldn't afford to have the tree removed , but that was done because of the hurricane season and I wanted to feel safe in my home. Now I can't even drive into my driveway because my drive is broken and Eagerton won't help me. Please YELP can you help? read more

We had a large 90 foot pine tree fall in our backyard - plus, two other large pines with the threat of also falling on our house and our neighbors house. We checked with a couple of tree service companies and found " Eagerton Tree Service" very reasonable in cost for all we wanted them to do. We were totally impressed with Jake, Patrick and their crew. They came with a huge crane that could reach these 90 foot giant pines. They were so coordinated in how the trees were cut and removed with the crane. They cut up and removed the fallen tree from the backyard without messing up our lawn. They loaded the cut up trees and debris into a huge truck. What we really thought was so great was they also spent the time cleaning up everything. Huge shout out to these tree removal specialists. We had three trees in my backyard that were greatly affected by hurricanes Matthew and Irma. Two trees were dead and one was leaning precariously. I talked to these guys last Sunday. We made plans Monday. By noon Tuesday, the trees were gone and all debris hauled off. We had a double oak in our front yard, that clearly had issues, between Mistletoe and bark chunks falling, and if price worthy removing the neighbors over grown trees that hang over our fence and pool. We got 2 separate estimates. Mint coupon was 15% off any JOB "WITH THIS AD" We Went through the Mint magazine to price shop. After price shopping they won our bid, but only for the front tree. Over Selling and Under Delivered. They were 3 hours late, only because I called, irritated. Once here, after staging the vehicles, they felt free taking our garbage can lid to collect oil drips from the Crane parked in our newly power washed driveway, but missed the other leaks, not to mention, the trucks leaked hydraulic oil everywhere their trucks were parked in our cul-de-sac! Clean up was limited to the circle...literally. I was charged more than the estimate, and wasn't given the 15% off, assuming- since I didn't do both quoted jobs? The math never added up on the written estimate. I felt I was not in a position to argue... I hope this helps the next inquirer. read more

If you need tree work done ... call anyone but these people. I tried to call them, as they run an ad in the monthly Mint magazine, to get 4 palm trees trimmed at my house. The last who answered the phone, first told me trees they trim palms. She then asked how many, so I gave her their details. At that point she paused and then told me "Look this is the busy season and for such a small job, I should just call someone else. They need to focus on the big jobs." So I'm guessing that the average home owner isn't important to them. I would rather figure out how to climb a Palm tree myself than ever call these people.
