I give them credit they came back and cleaned up but I shouldn't have to tell them to do that . Next problem is they destroyed multiple sections of my lawn when they did the paver installation and they did not intend to re-sod the damage areas. I didn't understand why they didn't have a plan to repair the damaged sections of my lawn and why they expected me to foot the bill for the repairs. I had to pay for the sod and the labor for them to repair the grass they destroyed. So I was very unhappy with this part of the job. I think it's fair for the customer to expect the company to fix the grass if they destroy it. They did a good job laying the sod I had to pay for.

I called them and within a couple of days they came out on Thurs, gave me a quote (and a VERY fair quote), and were here Saturday to cut the tree down. They started at 7:30 and were done w/ the tree by 11 and done grinding the stump by around 11:15-11:30. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. I have 2 more trees that I need cut down and I'm 100% using Arbor for them. They were very fair and very trustworthy. There was a board that broke on my privacy fence...not their fault. The fence is beyond needing repair, but they replaced the board as well. They hauled everything away and even picked up the smaller limbs and twigs. I know there are only 8 reviews, but there's a reason they have a 5.0 rating.

Travis who gave me the quote, was extremely reasonable, helped me make a really wise (albeit heartbreaking) decision. He clearly knew his stuff. When the crew arrived, they offered a neighbor a really reasonable price to limb up her Live Oak while they worked on my tree. First, even though the tree was partially uprooted, there was no urgency. Second, for a week prior there was no communication. I found out late last week that they would be there Monday. On Monday, I woke up to a mess. 10 people standing in the yard making an absolute mess. Chad, the foreman was condescending and a jerk when I asked what was going on. At any rate, they showed no care and tried to do as little as possible. They left the property looking significantly worse than when they came. There is debris everywhere and now the HOA is bringing a second company in. NEVER HIRE LUCAS. Bad business, Worse business owners. No communication and they just don't care.

He was very communicative throughout the process so I knew exactly what to expect (i.e. what surrounding plants would likely get damaged). I requested estimates from other companies too but Justin's quote worked best for my budget especially considering two trees and stumps were removed. The clean up was spot on too! So, if you're procrastinating on removing any trees like I was, don't do what I did and wait until those tree roots start to mess up your driveway! Give Justin @ Black Creek Tree Company a call.
