Best job anyone has EVER done on our palms. We needed some branches cut up and moved from back yard and we needed 10 queen palms trimmed and one very tall silver one trimmed. I wanted someone that wouldn't climb them with spikes. My husband found Zach and liked his reviews. I was looking for a tree trimmer and came across Old Timey Trees, LLC from a Google search. I saw the photos and reviews and decided to reach out on Mar. 27th with the tree photos. I immediately got a reply within 15 min. 'Chk 1'. Due to my description of the job needed and the photos, he advised per insurance recommendations, what he could do to solve my issue with a quote 'Chk 2' and if more was needed, he could schedule time to come out and discuss. He answered the one question I had 'Chk 3' and was ready to put me on the schedule. I let him know that I wanted to see about getting other quotes (in the back of my mind I was going to use his services) and he did not hound me for the day and a half I took to do my research 'Chk 4'. I got back with him on Mar. 29th and got on the schedule for today, April 3rd. Zachariah contacted me he was on the way and when he arrived at 11:30 am to go over the agreed upon work needed then he and his partner got to work. He rang the doorbell to tell me they were done so I could inspect the work and I was very pleased. The area was picked up of the extra twigs, the roof was clean and there was no sight that tree trimming has been done. I asked follow-up questions about the tree and got a quote for that service, and they were off at 12:15 pm. I will use his tree service again and due to my experience, will recommend him to others. I had a large oak tree that just went dead and I had used Old Timey Trees in the past to grind some tree stumps, so who do you call that's reliable? Same company of course!! They showed up on time, and started to go to work immediately. I was a little worried about the tree being so close to the house, but they professionally performed the job at hand. All the gentlemen were very friendly and I got along amicably with them. The job took all day as I had numerous trees that need to be trimmed as well as some trees that needed to be taken down. I called several companies before finding Old Timey Trees. The other companies either wouldn't return the calls or wouldn't have someone out to provide an estimate for a week or two. The one competitor that did come out provided an estimate that was outrageous. Having some experience in the industry and construction overall, I respectfully declined. I called Old Timey Tree and requested an estimate. I explained the job over the phone, one large tree in my yard needing to be trimmed away from the home and thinned out overall: not a big job requiring days' worth of labor. something that a capable company would be able to complete in less than a day. They said they could come the following day as they had a cancellation which sounded great to me. They came exactly when they said they would, and they provided a price that was exactly in line with what I expected it to be. They did the work expediently and left the yard exactly as it was when they arrived, if not cleaner. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for tree work. They were experienced and they indicated they were fully licensed and insured when I inquired.
