Tburger is really good. Like, it's up there for one of the better burgers in Austin! Double patty, and wagyu meat... chefs kiss. Now the flip side of that. $16 for a burger that you're still going to be hungry after eating is a bit insane. I get it's Wagyu, but come on... And the fries (make sure to get them beast mode) loved those as well. Idk what kind of ketchup they serve, but it has a little kick to it, so deff try it with the fries (or even the burger). But again... $8 for some fries is insane. read more

A really, really good smashburger with an awesome collab story (skate boarder plus michelin chef, how can you beat that?). The wagyu beef is super juicy and greasy and the buns are extra soft. It's easy to inhale, but I will say that the sauce+cheese gets cloying towards the end. Definitely one to try at least once. But it's not priced for a casual bite. read more

A small restaurant on 6th. Mainly just a bar vibe inside with a couple of seats outside. I can imagine when it's super busy that most people would just eat outside standing because the inside gets cramped quick. The burger and fries together aren't worth the $25 price tag. The fries are amazing and id get them again. The one upside is this place is open till 3am on the weekends so if you need a place to eat they'll be there. Burger: 6/10 nothing special. If you love a greasy patty melt then you'll love it. Personally I could only get through half of it before I had enough of the grease. If the burger was cheaper I would rate it higher but the portion and taste isn't enough for me. read more

NADC! Kinda pricey? Yes. Tasty? Hell yes. What can I say? The burger was really good! I am impressed by the less is more approach to these smash burgers. I didn't try the fries, but those looked yummy as well. Restaurant: The location is pretty small so it may be a challenge to dine in. Prepare accordingly. They do have limited outdoor seating. read more

In fairness we were at the sxsw pop-up at Still Austin and not this location so I can't say much about the ambiance. The service was good, although a little bummed they didn't have beast mode fries and they ran out of ice cream by the time we ordered. We spring for the extra patty and the burger as a whole did not disappoint. It was greasy and delicious. I even liked the jalapeños - which added extra flavor, not just a kick in the pants. read more

Took a lil trip from Cali and tried this spot, I know everyone is complaining about the price but it's wagyu and it's very tender. Got a simple burger and some fries to wash it down. The burger was delicious man, I know it's a $16 dollar burger but man, you can taste the quality. The fries were good but nothing compares to that burger. Burger: 8.6 Fries: 7.0 read more

This burger is worth hype. She was very, very tasty. I love a good big and messy burger, and NADC definitely fits the bill. Now, I must say, I did feel very heavy after eating it, but that's not surprising. You can tell by looking at it! The fries were good and crispy; however, I don't have to have them again. The showstopper was definitely the burger. I went to the food truck location on 1405 E 7th Street. read more

You have to be bad ass to only service 1 thing. This place is bad ass! I found this place on TikTok and I was determined to try it. These are the perfect smash burgers. Fries are crispy and seasoned. You really could not ask for more. They have figured out the perfect recipe! The space is small but has inside and outside sitting. There is a small bar and they even have ice cream. Seriously was excited for this burger for a year and was honestly dissatisfied. I like the set up of the place and it moves quick. I had someone in training and she had not been taught how to properly build this burger. I would try again but it's not cheap for what it is. read more

Tried this spot for the first time today and the burger and fries were delicious. I would definitely love to come back. The service was also quite speedy and the employees were kind. I was surprised at the price given the combo of a regular burger and fries was about $22, but it really did taste great. read more

Honestly maybe the actual best burger I've had so far in Austin (Phil's icehouse & Jewboys being great runner ups) however just for the price point I had to knock it down to 4 stars, it is quite the investment if you really want a quality wagyu burger (which personally to me defeats the purpose of having an accessible, reliable, all around classic burger) Fries are another delicious investment if like a good crispy fry, and also bonus points for their tangy ketchup super good read more

The burgers were 5/5 stars! However. We got here at 11:15 after a show. Closing is 12 so there still is a lot of time and when we walked in, all the chairs were put away and the place looked like it was closing down. We ordered. Grabbed our own chairs from The stack and sat down. I asked for Mayo, and despite there being HUGE tubs of mayo as decoration, I was told there was no mayo Just a special sauce. The sauce was delicious. We had water from a container they had with water but they put that away while we were eating and was unable to get a second cup of water, my husband had to buy a water. Again food was Amazing. read more

I typically never like to try spots when they first open up that are all over social media. I like for the hype to die down for a better overall experience. My buddy wanted to go, so I agreed. We went on a Friday (12/8) at 1 PM. We were told a 45-minute wait, and it was exactly that. It is very crammed inside. Little to no spots to sit. We got lucky with two bar seats in front of the kitchen. We got our two cocktails at the beginning. I know this place is a burger joint, not cocktails. However, with a 45-minute wait on a beautiful sunny Friday, we wanted to try them out. We were pretty disappointed in both of them. We tried the Disco Flip (6.5/10) and the Nosegrind (4/10 - could not finish). Now for the burgers, I will say, the first bite was very delicious. But after that, the magic just went downhill in every bite. For $16, they are very small in size. Cheese is your ordinary kraft sliced cheese which you can tell. It was way too greasy at the end for me to even finish it all. I give it overall a 7/10. We tried the beast mode loaded fries. Personally, the fries I was able to pick with nothing on them were the best. I just was not a fan of the toppings, and I am a pickle lover too. Confirmed that sadly this place is way too overhyped. Plenty of better burgers in the area. If you are reading this and haven't tried the OG Dans or Sandys, go do it! read more

Okay. So. While I'm a tried and true fan of Jew Boy Burgers, and while I also rate their burgers 5 stars, I can't deny that this is a great burger. I respect the small menu. The burger is the only main option on the menu, but boy do they do this one thing well. If you want a burger, yes, this is where you want to go. In fact, if you're going with one other, I truly think you'll be satisfied ordering one burger, with an extra patty, and splitting it. It is pricey ($16 + $8 for an extra patty), and therefore the splitting recommendation. For wagyu, yes, worth it. You can taste the difference, and that's even including the seasoning. Prepare for greasiness. Claps to NADS. Great concept. Open till 3 AM and of course probably exactly what you need after a night out on 6th. Don't waste your time anywhere else on E 6th if you're craving a burger. read more

Originally a pop up shop located in the back of Idlehands on Rainey Street, NADC (Not a Damn Chance) Burger has officially launched it's first flagship location on East Sixth with a bang. Whether you're a returning patron or a new one, NADC burger is a must, especially if you're looking for a good smash burger. If you're one of those people who needs to look at a menu before going, NADC has made this easy for you: 1. NADC burger 2. Fries (beast mode optional-- NADC's version of In-n-Out's Animal style). The NADC Burger is soooo good, yet so bad! The patties are made from wagyu beef and with the sauces, the chopped pickles, the cheese... just simply WOW, OMG, DELISH. Be prepared to get down and dirty! Despite a chaotic opening day, service and food were IMMACULATE. A huge congratulations to NADC-- well deserved! read more

My husband and I were in Austin and had just seen a reel on Instagram about NADC so of course we decided to make this our last stop before leaving! We were the first ones in line and the man (possibly owner) that was there setting up the signs was super nice and inviting. The Burger: Yes it is not a huge burger, BUT super packed with flavor and perfectly executed! As for the cost . . . it's WAGU!! My family literally uses my husbands stomach and ability to digest food without getting sick as the litmus test for the quality of meat and he did just fine with this burger. It was juicy, flavorful, and honestly, if you need to eat more than this coupled with the fries, your stomach has way too much real estate! The Fries: Freaking amazing! The fries are so good BUT if you have issues with salt I'd either stay away OR ask them if you can get fries with no salt. And the ketchup! Seriously, they need to bottle it and sell it! It's so good! It tastes like it has course black pepper and oregano, I have never had a ketchup that tasted so good! Seating: Very small seating area so be prepared to possibly eat in your car or on a bench nearby. Since we were the first to get there I secured a table while my husband ordered. Though the lines can be long, they move fast so don't let the line discourage you. This is a definite MUST, and we will be going back for more! Excellent burger, excellent fries, excellent service. read more

A SERVICE CHARGE is automatically added! (20%) There is no MENTION or WARNING of this. UPDATE: Per the response below. Neither I nor any of my party have received a refund for the service charge on the days we went. This just takes the tipping culture meme to a whole new level. Now that that is out of the way, let's get on with the review. I really wanted to enjoy NADC burger after all the hype, yes I will admit the burger is good. However, my goodness, atomically charging a service charge for a counter top style restaurant along with a tip? There's a lot of potential but this just didn't do it for me. Atmosphere: Very small counter style, I believe this place used to be a pizza joint so there some remnants of that in terms of layout. Food: I will admit the burger is a very good burger. Juicy and certainly flavorful, however the portion for the price is so small. My friend and I still left hungry, and honestly left to Hopdoddy. They also didn't have any fries or desserts. With such a limited menu I'd hope that there is plenty of supply for mostly burgers or fries. Is it the "best burger in Austin" as so many "influencers" claim. Arguable, because it's so drenched in sauce it might as well not be wagyu or makes little difference. To give credit the sauce is tasty. Service: There really isn't a service, you order from the counter, and they call out your name. With that said the interactions with the staff I had were nice. I really did want to give this place a chance, but with how it stands now with an automatic charge that isn't announced anywhere on the menu or the checkout process..."Not a 'dang' chance" indeed. I honestly am hesitant to even say "try with caution". That being the biggest disappointment. So what's next. 20%...50%...200% auto charge? Such a practice in my opinion must be stopped immediately. This just spits in the face of places that include a service charge and actually provide a valid service to wait on tables and care for customers. There is a lot of hype, but hype isn't everything and Austin still has much more to offer. I'd recommend something else. Better yet, just learn to make your own smash burger with burger sauce, everything here could easily be accomplished in one's home. read more

They only have one burger option on the menu. That must mean the burger is really good and they're confident, right? Nope. I was already feeling skeptical when the people at the next table didn't have any huge reactions when biting into the burger. The burger is not bad, but it doesn't wow me. It is also very greasy. And it's $16. Fries are good. Got it in Beast Mode-cheese, pickles, jalapeños, etc. Place is small, but there is seating outside. Cashier got angry because some other guy took our order. I'm not a big burger fan but I can appreciate a damn good burger...and this place served just that! The stacked waygu patties with the ooey gooey cheese, pickles and jalapeños melted together in just one bite. I didn't leave the restaurant thinking it was a heavy meal at all. I really appreciated how crispy the fries were...not a lot of burger joints serve good fries IMO. The wait isn't long as they are pretty efficient! BYOM!! Truly have never been to a burger joint that doesn't offer mustard. Not even packets. Rating breakdown: Burger: 3.5 star (would have been a 4+ with mustard) Fries: 5 stars. Perfect amt of crisp and flavor. Atmosphere: 2 star. Had to eat in the car because no seating avail. Other thoughts: limited beverage options. I don't love iced tea in a can/bottle but if that's the only option, a 0 sugar option would be nice. All-in-all it was fine. Would I go back, maybe. If I have mustard on me. But I can go to In and Out and get everything I want for half the price. read more

I've been seeing all the Austin influencers post about this burger spot and decided to give it a try. My partner and I ordered two burgers and a side of fries which came out to $43, which was kind of insane. The main draw of these burgers was that they're made with Texas Wagyu. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the hype for us. Although the burger was tasty, it was too salty. I liked the fries, since they were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, but the 'beast mode" addition was very meh -- it was just a slice of cheese and some sauce. I felt like these burgers were pretty much the same as Buddy's burgers, but way more expensive. read more

Hell. Yes. If lived up to the hype was a review, consider it this one. These burgers are THE BOMB. We came in around 3pm on New Year's Eve, and there was no wait, no line. We sat at the bar. The bartender was cool as shit. After we were done eating, Neen came over to ask how it was and he was stoked that we loved it, and thanked us for coming in. What a cool spot. I have heard a lot about this place and its multiple locations (here, Houston, Chicago) but never tried it until the other night. This being the flagship location and in my neighborhood is kinda cool. I never even tried them when they were a stand on Rainey. Jeez, I was missing out. I like that the inside is basically just a walk-up counter (with bar seating) so you can get the food to go or eat outside as well in the little area provided. I gotta say this was one of the best burgers I've ever had and it was so filling. I couldn't even finish it. Saved the leftovers for the next day though! You can't do any better for a burger than wagyu beef. There's just something about it that gives an extra bang of flavor to the smash burger. I just don't think you'd get the same taste from 80/20 ground beef, lol. The fries are to die for...they're good in the beef grease. How much more yum can you get? This is done so perfectly for me. I never like my burger with tomatoes, lettuce, and so on. This burger has smashed wagyu, cheese, jalopeno and pickles. The fewer the ingredients, the merrier the flavor. It is so juicy, cheesy, and has a slight kick of spicyness from jalopeno and tangy sweet taste of the pickle. The secret sauce is yum! Fries was surprisingly good too. It is rarely you can find both to be over the top. It was worth the travel from the North. We'll look forward of stopping here whenever we go to Austin. read more

My carnivorous leanings left me hankering for a hunk of quality beef and it seemed that NADC Burger might fill the bill. Conveniently located near my barber and other Sixth Street hangouts, the restaurant is a small storefront with limited bar-style seating and a counter to place your order. The star of the menu and in fact, the only entree, is the Not a Damn Chance (NADC) burger, two patties of 100% American wagyu beef raised right here in Texas. The beef is sustainably grown at the R-C Ranch in Bailey's Prairie, where they focus on creating a high quality product and utilizing the entire animal in their butchering process. When dining here you get to see the burgers make their journey from rolled ground meat placed on the grill and then pressed with an iron. After cooking, these burgers are assembled and served quickly. These patties have an excellent, rich texture and are topped with American cheese, onions, pickles, special sauce, and "tamed" jalapenos, ensconced in a toasted potato bun. I have a love/hate relationship with American cheese. I don't like the way processed cheese is made but gosh darn it there's just something seductive about that golden unctious goo that glues the burgers together. Nevertheless, the flavor combination is unique and really delicious. One other nitpick I have is about those potato buns. I know a lot of folks like them and they do have their place, but I strongly feel a brioche bun would be a better choice. Potato bund tend to get soggy and the rich fattiness of the meat could be better sustained with a bun that can stand up to the moisture. I also prefer the sweeter, buttery flavor of brioche but maybe that's just a personal preference. The fries are pretty tasty as well, seasoned and nicely fried. I would like to see fresh cut fries though and I think they'd make a better partner for these awesome burgers. Service here is friendly and fast. This may become a regular stop after my haircuts. If you want a wagyu burger, this is the place to go. Recommended. read more

The burger was delicious, you can really taste the quality of the meat. It was rich in flavor and clearly made with care. That said, the customer service was pretty average. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing memorable either. The place itself is quite small, but we were lucky enough to arrive just before it got busy and were able to grab seats. The atmosphere is nice. Parking was $3 right out front, though there weren't many spots available. I can imagine parking would be a real challenge during peak times. Now for the price, this is definitely on the expensive side. The burger alone was close to $20, and despite how tasty it was, I didn't feel full afterward. This isn't the kind of place you go to satisfy a quick burger craving; it's more of a treat-yourself experience. While the burger is great, I do think you can find others that are nearly as good for significantly less. I'd consider coming back, but only when I'm in the mood to splurge a bit. read more

Burger: Soooo delicious--a perfect double patty smash burger if you're craving one. A bit pricey, but worth it for the flavor. Fries: The loaded fries were tasty but a bit too salty for my liking. Location: We originally went to their brick-and-mortar spot, but it was closed, so we were redirected to the food truck lot on E6th. Easy to get to, with ample picnic tables and a dog-friendly vibe. Note this was back on April 1st so not sure if they are back in their brick & mortar location since. Ordering: We stopped by on a Monday lunchtime, and it wasn't busy--we were first in line, making it a quick and easy experience. Parking: Street parking can be tricky depending on the day and time, so plan accordingly. Overall, ambience was pretty cool a skaters version of a burger bar/stand that was easily accessible, and the menu was quite easy to understand and read. Not a lot of options for the burger, but I believe that is the point of this burger place. I know that it's founded by a Michelin star chef and one of my personal favorite skateboarders of all time Neen Williams. I definitely go back if you are a smash burger, lover, and someone that loves onions because there is no option to remove them, but that's what makes this place so unique and one of a kind. The fries were amazing. I like the combinations that they have and other options for them and I feel like this is a place that you can become a regular quickly. The people working in the back were nice, calm collected and genuinely understanding. They cook the food right in front of you so it's made to order and it's high-quality ingredients. In my opinion, this is a nine out of 10, just because I'm nitpicking about the onions, lol. But overall, this is a great place to come and try if you're in town. read more
