Restaurant owner demonstrated poor presentation of business ownership and food almost killed me. found an inch long piece of metal and plastic in the bacon cheese fries almost choked me to death. called and the owner rudely hung up when told them what happened. went to show him and he denied it even came from the restaurant when it was COOKED into the cheese. will never get food from here again if this was an honest mistake and the equipment broke i should get refunded i am a customer who paid 40 dollars for burgers and there was a metal rod cooked into my food. they are so lucky it was found before i swallowed this. the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional and i will never waste my money here again. i would not recommend to anyone i loved. cannot believe the carelessness of the owner to serve hazardous materials and take zero ownership.

First time here last night and man what a treat! Got the donut burger that was delicious! I'll definitely be back!

senior special cheeseburger with onion rings, good burger but meat unseasoned and waaayyyy over cooked

I am a big fan of their senior special, it is the perfect amount of food especially when you include the free pinto beans, which are very well executed. The fries and onion rings are great but I do not care for the fry shake as it has sugar in it. My biggest complaint is the meat is not seasoned and cooked to well done leaving no juiciness in it. Next time I will ask for my meat to not be so charred. Both times I have been the meat has been way overcooked. But all in all a good burger at a reasonable price.

When I'm at a new burger joint, I usually order one of their two items 1) Their house burger or 2) The most expensive burger, because I figure the burger that bear their name can't be bad, and there is got a reason for a burger to be the most expensive item on the menu. I ordered the Avocado Bacon burger and a order of onion rings. The onion right is is fresh and hot, but bland. The burger is ok at best IMO. Overall, good experience, the service was friendly and quick, the place is clean and they have TV showing games. The food is just ok

Great burgers & sweet potato fries!

I'm not sure what magic dust they put on their fries but they were pretty awesome. Burgers were good and prices were reasonable.

My daughter had mentioned she heard this place had great pho so we looked it up and they happen to be open. It was good timing as the owner was about to go on a six week vacation to Vietnam. It's located inside the mini mall and you can't see any signage from the street but just walk into the area that says Rose's and you will find a store that reminds me aldi touch between a dollar store Ollie's. Just to the right inside the door you will find T's Sandwiches. No frills place here that is very clean but simple. This is certainly not the place for fast food, indeed many people called in and came by about 15 minutes later, only to still wait a few minutes. But nobody complained and it seemed like a normal part of the process. And everyone we saw come through we could tell were repeat customers who wished him well on his trip. Aptly named, the place really does some great American style sandwiches. My wife got the club and it was just fantastic, fries that came with it were amazing according to my college teenager who waited for my wife to finish and then devoured the rest of them. I asked the guy what the best order was and he said the soup (pho). My two girls and between us got the meatball, beef, and chicken soups. I thought the flavor was fantastic. This particular style has the grill flavor in it as he is cooking the meats on the grill and then infusing that into he soup for a wonderful, soulful flavor that I haven't had anywhere else and would also recommend for others. We also got the fried egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls, both of which were good. Slight word of warning as when he's cooking you can see smoke coming through the air and out to the open mall area so just be aware if you have allergies. The trick is certainly to put an order in and pick it up as he makes each order as it comes in and at times people waited for ten minutes just before he was able to get around and assist them...but again not one complaint! If you are in town and want a pleasant surprise just a few blocks off campus, meet up here. All that food, with bottled drinks added, came out to $60 which I thought was a great deal! This place would be worth a diversionary trip if you are in the area.

My wife and I liked the beef pho, and my daughter prefers the chicken pho. She says the chicken is tender & tasty with no fat. She also likes the spicy chicken fried rice, which is not actually spicy at all, but has a good flavor.

I had the BLT with the optional egg and it was okay, nothing to write home about. Coffee was good. Makes you feel like you're in a Texas country town for sure! My daughter and I were in Nacogdoches for college visit to SFA and we looked this place up in the hopes that we would find something different than a normal chain stop. It certainly is different and was exactly what you might imagine. Everything on the menu is decently priced and it seems that Tuesday is the place to be with short stack specials for $2 along with the weekday breakfast special at $6.95 On of my daughter's favorite meals is chicken fried steak and what better place to try that than a local diner??? Unfortunately it fell below expectations. The portions were quite large, enough that we could have just split a plate. The idea of sausage gravy on top of the mashed potatos and steak sounds heavy but also potentially fantastic. However both the gravy and the fry were quite under seasoned. I was able to fix mine with some cholula sauce and some salt and pepper was a quick fix as well for my daughter. The side of green beans and carrots she got were actually pretty good so perhaps there was just a disconnect in flavor at the meat station this day. I did very much enjoy the side salad I chose instead of the veggie medley. Came with home-made ranch which brought me back to my East Texas family gatherings with the freshly shaken ranch.....it was great. The portion size was pretty fair value at $13. Like I said we could have just split it between us. Very hit or miss flavors leaves this at a 3-stars for me. But no doubt some of the nicest folks in town work here.
