The food was delicious! We got the Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Tika, and a mango smoothie. The portions were pretty sizeable. I'll be back.

My second time here I love the food always fresh and flavorful!!! I got the chicken qorma the first time. It's on the spicy side but I'm African and LOVE spices in my food. This time I ordered the qorma again and the chicken jalfurazi for my little one. Price-wise they are absolutely affordable/reasonable. Probably more on the cheaper side so that is a plus!! And they have lunch and buffet specials throughout the week. The restaurant isn't fancy but it's neat spacious and clean. I do like the detail on the ceiling. Overall a great place would recommend to anyone! They tell you the minimum time expectation when ordering foods that or either grilled or fried so you know what to expect. If you're grabbing lunch I would call it in. I usually go when I'm off of work so the wait doesn't really bother me. read more

Just tried Naan and Curry for the first time. Ordered to go. female answered the phone. Was very short and rude. Asked what I wanted then asked my name and hung up without saying goodbye... your total is... Will be ready by..etc. So I just drove up there. Walked in and she didn't greet me. I stood there awhile till owner came up and asked to help me then gave me my order. I ordered the garlic naan white rice and chicken tikka masala. The naan was huge but just OK in taste. The white rice Delicious. The chicken was tasty but i was disappointed B/C there was more sauce then chicken. I kept stirring trying to find chicken and only got about 6 pieces. Now I have a container of the sauce and no more chicken to eat it with. Saving the sauce and going to sautee a chicken breast to eat it with since I still have a lot of rice left also. food was very good but not sure if I will be back. This is the best place! The person who works at the front is so friendly and nice. I just love how patient she is and informative of the food. The people who work there is also great esp. whoever is cooking the food. The food is awesome. I love the amount they give and the flavor. My favorite here is the mixed vegetable and chicken 65. It's Ok, but we felt there were better options in the area. The food was a bit oily and over spiced. I like heat, but I don't care so much for heartburn. This is a small shop. Although it's not big name or fancy or anything like that, do not be afraid to try this place! This place is absolutely delicious. The food is on par with some authentic desi meals I've had from my mom. The portions are huge. The price is fair. They're quick. They're nice and the best part is that they have NAAN BREAD!! An easy to find no frills place. I was in a hurry and the food did come quick, which was great! I only ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was good. Not the greatest I've had, but certainly better than most. The naan was piping hot, I only wished they had cut it to make it easier to handle. The prices are more than reasonable. read more

We had dinner here last night. Based on the appearance (styrofoam plates and a sign asking diners to bus their own tables) I wasn't expecting a whole lot. It turns out this is one of those really good hole in the wall type places. We had the chicken tikka masala, goat karahi, bihari kabob, yellow daal, naan and onion kulcha. All of it was incredibly good but the goat karahi was to die for. I deducted a star for having to bus my own table and that it's a little cramped but taken by itself the food would definitely get five stars. read more

Worst excuse for an Indian buffet. Masala was gross and overpowered by zeera, no salt, dry chicken, over all poor inattentive service. Yes this place is self service yes it is very casual (styrofoam plates). Despite all this the food is STIL super crappy. Came back here yesterday and was very impressed. Ordered chicken tikka masala with naan & rice. Total was $12 - lasted for 3+ solid meals. Great value for the money. And the flavors were very nice. Generous portions. Their biryani is also very good. Highly recommend this place. read more

I have eaten at every Indian Buffet in the Duluth/Norcross area. This is the best seasoned and fresh food you will find especially for the money. You get so much quality for only $4.99. There is another Indian buffet in the shopping center next to Naan-n-Curry that charges $6.99 and is in no way better. They both use Styrofoam and plastic utensils but they are more sanitary and aid in keeping the cost of your meal low. Try it I bet YOU become a regular! read more

Last Thursday (10/4/12) I drove by Naan & Curry and decided to check it out because I wanted to try something different. OMG, the Bihari Beef Kabab with a side of Garlic Naan was mouthgasm! This was my first time trying India/Pakistan food. I went home and brag the whole night about how wonderful the garlic naan was. It was crispy, flaky, warm, soft, and moist. And the bihari kabab was so good, I don't think words can do it justice-tender, crazy curry power n spices, with tangy lime. I'm an admit Vietnamese Pho lover and it made me felt sad that my favorite food Pho just got pushed back to 2nd place on my personal list of favorite ethnic foods. My brother got so hyped because of my promoting of Naan & Curry that he wanted me to take him there for lunch the next day. Now I know why Christopher Columbus accidently discovered America, he was searching for Naan & Curry's Bihari Beef Kabab. So we met there the next day and had the lunch buffet. The price is very good (only $7 per person and the service is super great n friendly). To make a long story short, dam it was disgusting (not that the food wasn't cooked fresh or incorrectly, just that I couldn't bare the taste n smell of the spices-in a no offence way-to each its own). I would definitely go back to Naan & Curry because I'm now in love with the Bihari Kabab and Garlic Naan. The best and worst taste I ever experienced all under one roof in Duluth. Now I just got to find a way to convince my brother to give Naan & Curry a second try!!! Decided to stop in for the lunch buffet after reading the great reviews. We also separately ordered samosas and a mango lassi. The reviews are well deserved! The food was wonderful. I didn't find anything too spicy. The restaurant's normal a la carte prices were very reasonable, and that's not counting the specials they have on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for $4.99 or $5.99. Will definitely visit again. My only complaint was that they only use styrofoam plates and plastic utensils (for the buffet, at least. I couldn't tell for the regular a la carte menu items.) I understand that keeps them from dishwashing responsibilities, but that seems very wasteful (especially since you are supposed to get a new plate with every trip to the buffet, like at any other buffet place.) read more

Let me start by saying that I am a huge aficionado of Indian cuisine, and I jump at every chance I get to try a new Indian restaurant. Although I am American, I have traveled to many parts of the world many times, including the UK, which is said to have some of the best Indian food in the world. Even after having Indian food in countless restaurants in at least 15 countries, I can assuredly say that Naan N' Curry has THE BEST chicken tikka masala I have ever tasted anywhere, hands down! They have other dishes that are wonderful as well, but the chicken tikka masala is simply magical! I have raved about it to all my family and friends, and all that I convinced to try it became instant believers as well! I've never told someone to go there and try the CTM and had them come back with a reply that didn't include the words "best ever", "most amazing", or some other such superlatives. It truly is unbelievably good. It is made particularly surprising given the unassuming location and look of the establishment. It is tucked away in the corner of a little strip mall, with cozy, charming, but unelaborate decor. One would have no idea at first glance what kind of culinary treasure this place holds. The people that run the joint are very friendly and accommodating. They know me by name since I'm in there at least once per week usually, and they're always just as friendly as they were the first time I visited. It's clear that they don't take my business for granted and they really value and appreciate their customers. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! read more

My fiance' is a Chef, so she and I are always up for trying new cuisines. This restaurant was recommended by a very good friend of ours who is from India. We loved the friendliness of the people, and the food was divine. Never in MY life did I ever think I would say that about indian food, but I was definitely proven wrong! The Naan is terrific, and is this light fluffy bread (we ordered 2 to share with us and our Indian friend), and they are huge! Perfect for dipping into the bowls of gooey goodness of curry dishes and biryani. The meat has bones in it, but the meat in the soup dishes is fall off the bone LITTERALLY! OMG! They also proudly tout the use of fresh, killed in the least cruel method, Halal Meats. There is a huge sign you can read about it inside the restaurant. We would go back here again and again. Although this is the first Indian restaurant I have been to, I simply have to give it 5 stars for a job extremely well done! The food is intense with spices, and not too hot. I've only tried the lunch buffet and am very impressed. They have a good selection of vegetarian dishes as well as meat dishes, and the naan is very good. Some restaurants have food that tastes good but is later hard to digest, but with Naan n Curry, the food tastes great and I have a sense of wellness afterwards as well. I only wish they could offer an alternative to the styrofoam plates -- i would pay more for that. read more

I am a complete food snob and have eaten at 100's of 'ethic' restaurants across the nation since I travel for work. Naan N' Curry is one of my favorite places in the nation! Since I'm from Minnesota, I've only had the pleasure of eating there twice. But both times were with a vanload of finicky high school kids, and the kids also loved everything we ordered! I've never been able to try the buffet, but we were able to basically build our own. (And c'mon, ordering off the menu is ALWAYS better than the buffet at ANY restaurant.) My favorites are the Chicken Jalfurazi and the Goat Karahi. The brain masala ia amazing too, if you're not afraid of the idea or the texture... The decor is shabby, but the food is totally authentic and wonderful! read more

I have been a regular visitor of Naan n Curry ever since it opened in August 2009 replacing the Pizza place. It was a great value for money with taste like home cooked food and large portions. It became quickly popular in the locality drawing most crowds from the Jamatkhana across the street. However, in recent months many things are changed. Prices have gone up and the quality has come down. Kitchen and bathrooms are so dirty that you would not be able to eat after looking at the kitchen. The restaurant has been closed twice by health inspectors on the cleanliness issues and never earned score above 'B'. The same food continues to be served for days until finished. The quick rise in popularity and income has made the owner couple rich in arrogance and poor in customer service. read more

Indian food is almost always very greasy, heavy gravy and expensive. This is completely opposite. Less than $30, we were 4 ppl. Roti was just like we have in Dhaba. All other vegetarian dishes were so tasty. Will definitely visit this place again. Not formal though. read more
