He is a one man show doing all the nail needs, so I appreciate his hard work. $50 for a pedicure with some sugar scrub, callus remover, unfortunate ingrown and regular polish. His customer service was good (offered a drink: got water) and friendly. I would appreciate cleaner materials (scrub brushed looked very used) and set up materials could use some help (nail clippings on cart with towel used to dry tools). Over all not a bad experience. It looks like they glued chiclet gum to my nails. Not only that they are uneven, crooked and don't even cover my whole nail and I asked for round but was talked into square round. Typically leave 50-100$ tip. However... My advice pay attention to what you are being charged for. Pay attention to what you are paying for. If you are paying for a service (ANY service) make sure you are getting that service. Also, if you expect to be taken advantage of and (like me) don't want to cause a scene, just ask for clarification and laugh about the repeated attempts at the associates to explain their mistakes while still charging you. Before my service even began, I specifically instructed the receptionist to assign me a good technician, and despite that request, the quality of work I received was far below professional standards. What made the experience worse was the awful customer service--there was no accountability, concern, or effort to address the poor results. For the price charged, I expected clean, neat, and well-executed nails along with respectful service. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. This experience did not reflect the level of professionalism or quality that customers should expect. However, recently, the work has been sloppy and the customer service not so great. In the past month, I have had 2 unpleasant experiences with the work done on my nails and the employee's customer service. The first incident, I was given a French tip with a clear base, although I showed a picture of what I specifically wanted (French tip with a pink base). It was not until I stepped out into the sun that I noticed the clear base. Every groove and file mark was showing through the nails and the white tips and clear coat were sloppily painted on, along with bubbles in my nails and lent. I gave it a day to see if the nails would grow on me, but they did not. The next morning I called and was offered to get my nails fixed free of charge. I agreed and went in. Once I arrived, there was a 30 minute wait, but otherwise, the receptionist was very sweet, attentive and helpful with trying to get my issue resolved. During getting my nails fixed (I was assigned another person to fix my nails) , I still tried to show a picture of what I wanted, however, there was a breakdown in communication. The person who was doing my nails proceeded to get another worker involved and she very rudely and loudly yelled "WHAT YOU WANT?, I SEE THE PICTURE BUT WHAT YOU WANT? DO YOU WANT IT THIN OR THICK?" I was confused by what she was asking and still tried to explain what I wanted, but grew frustrated and embarrassed by her tone and attitude towards me. I did not engage with her and thankfully, the tech I was working with intervened and started to work on my nails. While the tech was sweet and did their best, they did cut my skin multiple times. When I went to wash my hands, the co-worker was still talking about the incident and involving others, which I thought was unprofessional. Again, I did not engage her and focused on getting my service completed. At the end, the nails were still not what I wanted, and my fingers were now in pain. Feeling defeated, I decided to just keep the nails. Yesterday, I went in to get my nails redone as it was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself. I sat down with a tech (Tammy) and showed her the picture of what I wanted, which was French tips again, but with a milky white tip. Immediately, she started saying how the picture was another technique and that I would have to get that or get a full set. I asked her if there was any way that it could be done with just a refill using two gel colors. She said yes, but that it wouldn't look right. She also kept criticizing my nails and how "old" they looked. Once it was time to apply the white tip, she kept saying it was too sheer. I asked her if we could try another type of milky white or even mix colors. She then grew frustrated with me and said "You either get white or nothing, we don't mix." She then stood up, rolled her eyes and grabbed other white colors to try. We found a white that was close to what I wanted, however, at this point, the tech was frustrated and rushed my service, even not allowing my nails to fully sit under the uv lamp to dry. As a result, bubbles formed in my nails. At the end, my nails were sloppily painted, and again not what I wanted. If you are someone who wants specific nails, neat work, and friendly customer service. I would not recommend going here.
