"These people cant be trusted" One of the worst decisions I've made in recent years was to sign with N&D. Faulty system set-up cost me hundreds of dollars in false alarm fees. I had to constantly run home from work to see why the alarm was going off and it would go off in the middle of the night and wake everyone up. When I called to have it cancelled, I received THE WORST customer service I've ever encountered in my entire life. They told me to pay the cancellation fee or deal with it (I am NOT paraphrasing). I deeply regret the day I signed up after I came home to my home being robbed. I would rather go through that several times over than to ever deal with N&D again. I have a useless alarm that I don't use but still have to pay for! Not to mention the incorrect charges on my account and hours of my life spent on the phone trying to get their mistakes corrected. I CANNOT WAIT to be done with them and get off this stressful 3 year ride that has cost me my hard-earned money and my peace of mind. The owner is really creepy and made me feel really uncomfortable. Update: They will not refund my money and the equipment they installed failed. This is the most illegitimate company I have ever come across. First, the people who came to install the equipment did not know what they were doing. They seems so confused as to what was going on. The sales associate quoted me one price, over the phone, then tried to change the terms of the contract after it was installed. Did I mention, they did not even install the entire system because they could not figure out how to do it. Further more, the part that was installed was malfunctioning, the system would control the temperature in my home, and would not shut off. The heater kept going, and was 86+ degrees inside the house and would not shut off. The representatives did not come to assist on that day, or on the scheduled follow up appointment. We had to take the system out the wall ourselves to get the heat to go off. Do not do business with this company. read more

Perry promptly replied and I explained what we wanted and needed in a security system. He provided information to help us understand the type of equipment needed and pricing for everything. We decided to go with N&D and we're so glad we did! We scheduled the installation and Darren our expert installer showed up on time and was so very nice. From Perry and Sally in the office to their onsite guy Darren, everyone has been a pleasure to work with. They were prompt in returning my calls and coming out to give me a quote and discuss specifics for my home security. Darren was fantastic coming out to do the install and coming back when we had a little hiccup. Darren took the time to walk me through everything and make sure it was all working properly and we knew how to get everything we wanted. We've used N & D for years on different properties we've owned. They are small and local so you don't get the high pressure sales pitch from some telemarketer overseas. Just high quality service. Years ago I hired one of the national companies to install a fire and security system in a home that was being renovated. After signing a contract and taking my money, the tech that came out an installed much of the equipment. When I had to call back to schedule completion because the city permitting department was requesting documentation on the system, they stated that they did not perform installations in new or renovated homes and left me hanging. I found N & D from yelp actually, because ADT never showed up in my house even though I tried to make appointment with ADT three times. I was hesitating about N & D, but it turned out that all 5 star reviews from yelp are real! The people are very nice, on time and sufficient, didn't miss my appointment. I contacted N&D because I needed to activate service at my property. Previously, I had a system installed, but I deactivated it years ago. N&D did a great job...they didn't charge me for brand new equipment. They were able to use what I already had in place. Their rates are very reasonable, and they were able to install a system that used cell service to work. I highly recommend them. read more
