"These people cant be trusted" One of the worst decisions I've made in recent years was to sign with N&D. Faulty system set-up cost me hundreds of dollars in false alarm fees. I had to constantly run home from work to see why the alarm was going off and it would go off in the middle of the night and wake everyone up. When I called to have it cancelled, I received THE WORST customer service I've ever encountered in my entire life. They told me to pay the cancellation fee or deal with it (I am NOT paraphrasing). I deeply regret the day I signed up after I came home to my home being robbed. I would rather go through that several times over than to ever deal with N&D again. I have a useless alarm that I don't use but still have to pay for! Not to mention the incorrect charges on my account and hours of my life spent on the phone trying to get their mistakes corrected. I CANNOT WAIT to be done with them and get off this stressful 3 year ride that has cost me my hard-earned money and my peace of mind. The owner is really creepy and made me feel really uncomfortable. Update: They will not refund my money and the equipment they installed failed. This is the most illegitimate company I have ever come across. First, the people who came to install the equipment did not know what they were doing. They seems so confused as to what was going on. The sales associate quoted me one price, over the phone, then tried to change the terms of the contract after it was installed. Did I mention, they did not even install the entire system because they could not figure out how to do it. Further more, the part that was installed was malfunctioning, the system would control the temperature in my home, and would not shut off. The heater kept going, and was 86+ degrees inside the house and would not shut off. The representatives did not come to assist on that day, or on the scheduled follow up appointment. We had to take the system out the wall ourselves to get the heat to go off. Do not do business with this company. read more

After an long internet search of security companies, I came across N&D Security. Reading all of the great reviews peaked my interest so I decided to contact them by email. Perry promptly replied and I explained what we wanted and needed in a security system. He provided information to help us understand the type of equipment needed and pricing for everything. We decided to go with N&D and we're so glad we did! We scheduled the installation and Darren our expert installer showed up on time and was so very nice. He installed our system efficiently and effortlessly. Before he left he made certain we understood everything about how the system worked. I now understand the reason for all the 5 star reviews. If you are looking for an great "local" security company and don't want to go with the big national companies, I highly recommend and encourage you to contact Perry at N&D for your security installation needs. You'll be so glad you did! Claudia T. read more

Recently, I hired N&D Security for a security system installation, and the experience exceeded my expectations for several reasons beyond their excellent reviews. First, the company responded quickly and professionally with clear, factual information. More importantly, I left they genuinely prioritized the customer's interests. Unlike some larger companies such as ADT, they were willing to work with and upgrade my existing system rather than push for a completely new installation. As a result, I was able to reuse most of the existing wiring, which significantly reduced the overall project cost - nearly cutting some competing estimates in half. The positive first impression carried out throughout the entire project. Both, the technicians and the owner were polite, responsive, and professional from start to finish. There were no gimmicks, hidden cost, or surprises = just quality work delivered exactly as promised. read more

I too switched over from ADT to N&D Security. Can't recommend N&D enough. Great work and great people. From Perry and Sally in the office to their onsite guy Darren, everyone has been a pleasure to work with. They were prompt in returning my calls and coming out to give me a quote and discuss specifics for my home security. Darren was fantastic coming out to do the install and coming back when we had a little hiccup. Darren took the time to walk me through everything and make sure it was all working properly and we knew how to get everything we wanted. When the issue came up later, Perry was all over it and made sure everything got fixed fast to our satisfaction. Again, I am so glad I switched over. Just a class act all around. read more

My wife and I recently moved in to our condo and had multiple companies out for estimates on various security systems. Most of the salesmen seemed like they were trying to sell us the most expensive items even if it really didn't fit our needs. Perry from N&D was the opposite--he first asked us what we wanted, and then helped craft a system that fit our needs. Darren came to install the system and was very knowledgeable and worked quickly and proficiently. Both Perry and Darren were extremely professional throughout the whole process, and my wife and I feel very safe in their capable hands. I would definitely recommend N&D Security to any of my friends or family in the area. read more

Excellent service from start to finish. Before choosing this company, I reached out to two other home security providers--one never responded, and the other couldn't provide an estimate for three weeks. This company, on the other hand, responded right away, scheduled the installation promptly, and delivered exactly what they promised. The installation team was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The alarm system performs flawlessly, and the customer service has been responsive and professional throughout the process. I'm extremely pleased with the overall experience and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable home security. read more

We have been very happy with N&D Security! N&D has checked and upgraded an existing system in our house. They have been very professional and friendly. They provided good advice for a better installation for our house without selling us what we did not need. They also offer fair pricing. The installation was easy. The staff is very responsive and always takes time to help and answer all my questions. They have a great customer service and they know who you are when you call them, you do not feel to be an anonymous client. They go above and beyond to provide the best service and help their customers. It has been a pleasure to work with N&D Security. read more

I was going to be lazy and just go with ADT for a home security system but then read such wonderful reviews about N&D that I decided to give them a try. First I had a consultation and after meeting with Toby, I definitely decided to work with N&D. I like that it is a family-run business, and that everyone I spoke to was very helpful and informative. Darren was the installer, and showed up on-time and actually installed the system and explained all the features in much less time than I thought. All-in-all I was very impressed with the company, the pricing and service and feel confident they will meet my needs. read more

After researching home security systems/monitoring for a few weeks I was more confused than the day I started. Many options and many ways to go. I call N&D, spoke with Perry and he was just honest and helpful from the first call. Went over options, pricing, and then then they came to give an estimate. These guys are awesome! Family business, very professional/quick and clean install and a very easy system to use. They do more than just home security/monitoring, and I am sure they are awesome at every service they offer. Cannot recommend these guys enough. If you are reading, Thanks guys. read more

We are very happy we chose N & D Security! They are very responsive, reasonable and easy to work with. When we requested for a quote, Perry responded promptly and we were able to schedule our in-home consultation soon afterwards. During the in-home consultation, we appreciated that they provided multiple options and did not push for more than what we felt our security needs were. The installation went smoothly and quickly. Further, the N & D Security system is intuitive and user-friendly. We highly recommend N & D Security! read more

I found N & D from yelp actually, because ADT never showed up in my house even though I tried to make appointment with ADT three times. I was hesitating about N & D, but it turned out that all 5 star reviews from yelp are real! The people are very nice, on time and sufficient, didn't miss my appointment. The security system had a few error message on the control panel. But after I contacted them, they were able to stop by my house to fix it the same day! Unbelievable! read more

We recently moved into our cozy little townhouse and reached out to N&D to have a home security system installed. Had a very good experience. Found them to be fair, courteous and professional. Very happy with our new system. Darren (our technician) was very knowledgeable and -- after a "stress-free" installation -- he explained how to use the system. Thanks N&D. Glad to have you "in our home." ; ) read more

I contacted N&D because I needed to activate service at my property. Previously, I had a system installed, but I deactivated it years ago. N&D did a great job...they didn't charge me for brand new equipment. They were able to use what I already had in place. Their rates are very reasonable, and they were able to install a system that used cell service to work. I highly recommend them. read more

It's great working with a local team that actually cares--highly recommend. read more

We've had a very good experience with N&D so far. (Our alarm system was installed a few weeks ago.) They were very responsive to our inquiry, gave us a reasonable quote and were able to install the system within a week.
