Frist time trying this company, but we have done 10+ escape rooms. The Mystery Escape Room is located in the Tucson Mall nears Sears and JC Penney. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were having fun in what seemed to be a staff meeting as we came in the door. You start out by scanning a QR code and filling in information on a web page, which they will guide you through. Then they take you over to a room with a TV to watch an intro video about your escape room and some of the rules. We tried the sherlock holmes room, and it was a little harder than some of the others that we have done. We did not ask for help nearly enough and we should have. I liked that there were many magnetic components to this room and you had to use some items and place them strategically to get the magnetic lock to activate to unlock things. You can use your phone for a flashlight and you will need it. There were some unique puzzles in the room that I had not seen before and I enjoyed it. We would go back.

This was our first time at an escape room in Tucson. Reservations are required and some of the rooms book up early. We booked a 9pm in the Dracula room. The staff was very nice and helpful. After signing a waiver and watching a short video we were lead to our escape room. We had 60 minutes to escape. We did really well but did not make it out in the allotted time. If you check in on Yelp you get an extra clue. It was fun and a great game to work together.

Very cool place the staff is really nice there. And they have cool rooms. We did hard one in 20 mins. Very crazy clues.

Our family enjoyed the Dracula Escape Room. Great for all ages. Staff were kind and helpful. Lots of fun. A bit pricey though.

I visited the escape room with four others on a Wednesday evening. We worked through the Speakeasy…read moreroom. Serenity was VERY accommodating of our group and did an outstanding job making sure all of our needs were met (drinks served, rules understood, etc.). We had a remarkable time largely due to how welcome we felt. I can't compare the quality of the puzzles to other escape rooms because this was my first experience. However, based on the amount of fun I had I can't wait to go back and try something new.

I've been to more escape rooms than I have teeth (and I have all of my teeth) and I must say, this…read morewas the worst First of all, the context inside of the rooms needs improvement..... tell me why there's a bunch of squares on a table and they require a specific order when the objects aren't even square On top of that, whoever was working tonight seemed like he could care less to be working there, had zero enthusiasm Furthermore, the solve for the room was displayed on a TV monitor 2 rooms separate to the room we were in when we hit the button, I'm not exactly sure how we're supposed to magically see a TV monitor two rooms away as we solve the room It's just not set up in a way that makes any sense The puzzles really had minimal context and solving the room requires you to somehow magically know that as you solve the room you are expected to have one person in one room and another person two rooms away in the room that you thought you already solved It was just a very weird experience to say the least However I will give this 2 stars as the escape room is cheaper than any of the others I've been to Finally, I don't recommend

My bf and I are escape room enthusiasts (we have done 125+ rooms) and tried both the Jellybean and…read morethe Buried Alive rooms today. Although they weren't all that challenging for us, we still enjoyed them quite a bit. The Jellybean room was very aesthetically pleasing and the theme was whimsical and fun. There were some puzzles (and one lock) in there that we hadn't seen before and we always enjoy when we see something new in a room. I appreciate the way the clues were given and how they kept even that part in theme with the room. This is a good family-friendly room. As for Buried Alive, there is a creepy factor to it but it's not scary. There are some effects in the room that really add to the immersiveness of it. The puzzles were good and were themed to the room as well. However, having just completed the Jellybean room minutes prior, I noticed that there was a similar puzzle in both rooms (an object with letters on it) and that was kinda a letdown. I don't like to see similar puzzles repeated across multiple rooms at the same location. One thing I especially liked about Grande Escape (compared to some other places) is the themes of their rooms. They're different. They're not the typical pirate ship, jail or western room that has been done and redone so many times. So props to them for thinking outside the box. After all, isn't that what is an escape room is about anyways? As for our GM, David (who also happens to be the owner), was great. He was very accommodating to our scheduling request and just an overall personable guy. We also enjoyed talking shop with him while we were there. If you're into escape rooms or even if this is your first time, this place is worth checking out. And for any enthusiasts up in the valley (like we are), drive down and see these guys. You won't be disappointed.
