With a whole forty-five seconds to spare (I think the game master Rebecca gave us a little grace with timing ourselves out of the last lock), my friend and I got our names off Santa's naughty list. The room was really well set up and all of the clues made sense with the theme. My one hold up is that I wish there was some type of hint about where to start first in the video you watch before starting your countdown. We managed to get all turned around because we did the locks out of order. I'll still head to Will You Escape? the next time I'm feeling an escape room itch, but if it was that difficult for me to get out of the room with a 70% success rate, I'll probably fail their other rooms. We tested our skills in the witching hour room racing against the clock working together for one hour to unravel clues, solve riddles and uncover hidden secrets. The puzzles are clever and engaging and you really have to think outside of the box. Staff are friendly and eager to help guide you but even with their help we didn't make it out in time and were cursed by the witch forever! :) this immersive experience was unforgettable and we had a blast...I want to come back and try the Santa's naughty list room and the owner shared that there will be a new experience opening upstairs soon, too! We did the Witching Hour escape room, and it was so incredibly detailed and clever -- we can't wait to return. Hannah, our gamemaster, was clear in the instructions before the game, and provided up to 3 hints if all participants agreed to receive it. I love that Hannah disclosed that we all had to agree to receive a hint because some gamemasters at other escape rooms will give a hint, even if only one person asks for it, which doesn't seem collaborative or fair for participants who are in the middle of solving a puzzle. Hannah's sense of humor, encouraging attitude, and clear instructions were awesome. The Witching Hour plot had multiple interactive parts, complex information, and difficult puzzles. The layout was so thoughtful and we had so much fun. Although it was really challenging, our group of 4 worked together and broke the witch's curse with minutes to spare! We're escape room addicts and try to visit one every trip we go on. My wife found Will You Escape? searching Google and the reviews were positive. We did The Witching Hour as it only has a 30% success rate. The storyline was interesting and the puzzles were just hard enough. We did gladly accept a few clues given to us when Hannah saw us struggling! We managed to successfully complete this room with a few minutes to spare. On our next trip to Tucson we'll give them and a different room another try. Great way to spend some time indoors when it's 100+ degrees out! read more

My friends and I were lucky enough to find "Will You Escape" online. We've all done several escape rooms but by far Will You Escape was one of our favorites. The room was challenging and fun but the best delight we found at your location was the owner Rebecca. She was warm and welcoming upon our arrival, chatted to us about the history of the location and the different themed rooms. Once "locked" in and our timer started, she did a great job of sending us encouraging messages through a television screen, giving us our 3 allotted clues in a timely manner when we asked for it and truly celebrating with us when we completed with 32 seconds left to spare. Did the witching hour room. There was far too many combo locks that took the same amount of digits. This is poor room design. It makes trying different combos a chore instead of fun. The game master used a fake accent over the walkies talkie... as you can imagine I could not understand a word this man said. Also at one point we asked for a hint and he came into the room and showed us the puzzle, that was not cool. Game master was nice though. Just the room didn't make sense, was the size of a large walk in closet and one puzzle required you count "hands" but then you ended up not counting every hand in the room... If you like puzzles and being challenged you will love "Will you escape?" Its both incredibly simple yet extraordinarily difficult. I did it with my kids (9 and 13) and loved that they had to work together as a team. The simple part is you go into a beautifully decorated period room. You are told a one sentence explanation of what happened and what you need to accomplish. The really difficult part is deciding what is a clue and what is just irrelevant. You constantly need to ask yourself "Am I still sure this is what I should be focusing on, or is this a dead end". The screen in the corner is relentless as it counts down second by second. I have to confess that we got clues fed to us three times. Once for instance we had spent a long time working on something and had just discarded it as irrelevant and were about to work on something else when we heard the ring and a message saying "Go Back" If we didn't get the clue we would never have finished. I think it would make a great group date, or team building, or family exercise. My kids and I got a buzz out of succeeding and chatting about it afterwards. All in all a great time. I would like to try it without getting clues but I am pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to complete it. Even with help it took almost 55 minutes of focused attention. read more

I'm a big puzzle fan and when I heard about 'Will You Escape?' I immediately wanted to try it. The concept is that you're stuck in a room with a maximum of 7 other people (friends, preferably) and you try to solve the mystery of who was the murderer, what time the victim was murdered, and how, by finding and using clues in the room. All of this needs to happen within 60 minutes. You are given 3 lifelines which you can use anytime throughout the 60 minutes. It cost $20 for each person. The business allows for 8 persons in the room. Therefore, if there are only 4 of you in a group unless you can afford to fork out the extra money, you'll end up playing with another group. If you're lucky, hopefully no other group decides to play during the time you've picked. We went there on July 4, 2015 at 4:45 pm. Of course with our luck there was a group who was going to play with us. Boo! The other group was nice and friendly but it would have been better if it was just our group. Throughout the game, their enthusiasm very much overpowered our group's but the teamwork was still there. We thought that we would be able to solve the game without using lifelines. However, 30 minutes into the game, we decided that we should since we weren't getting anywhere. Some clues were pretty easy to get but others were tough. I would try this again and hopefully the business will offer more than one puzzle room with another theme. read more

I have always wanted to partake in something like this. The clues, the time limit, and the atmosphere were all so exciting. The room was small, but decorated with 1950's décor which was like taking a step back in time. The location is tricky to find. It is literally on the South-West corner of Pima and Sahuara. The building doesn't look particularly business-like, so it may be easily missed,. That being said, its very cozy and intimate once you get inside. I went with a couple of my friends and it was great! We all contributed in our own ways to solve the puzzle. Overall, a great bonding experience that I would highly encourage for people of all ages. I think this would even be fun for children and families to experience (with some help because the clues were a bit challenging at times). I was set up on a blind date and thought this would be a good test of my date and give me some insights into his personality--how he interacted with others.---not to mention that I've always wanted to do this anyway. My husband and I played two of the escape rooms today, The Secret Agent and Captain Steelhook's Treasure. We thought these rooms were incredibly well done. The puzzles and sequence game play in the rooms was very logical. They were fun and challenging and very well thought out. We thought the game master was fantastic when we needed help to lead us in the right direction without giving away the answers. She was fabulous to talk with as well before and after the games. Fabulous fun! As a family of four, we were put with another couple. The room allows for eight. Put in a room with clues and many locked drawers, we had one hour to discover the secret agent's location and diffuse the bomb. We accomplished the task with 32 seconds to spare!
