Recently went to Trail Dust Town and had a fun experience! We visited on a Friday night, and after navigating a few potholes, we found complimentary parking. Entrance to Trail Dust Town is also free, and as we began exploring, plenty of families and visitors started to trickle in. The decor is outstanding and it truly felt like walking through the Wild West. We enjoyed browsing the general store, where we found vintage Beanie Babies, listening to Christmas music, and checking out themed decor from places like the old apothecary, even if some areas weren't accessible. Just a heads up: there's only one restroom in the entire area, located inside the restaurant. Overall, it was a great place to explore, and I'm glad we checked it out! read more

We came through on a family cross country vacation from California to Florida! We stopped in and the town is really cool. It is pretty small but the steakhouse was worth it and the stunt show was really cool! My 4 year old keeps talking about Killer Miller! We got VIP passes so we got first pick of seating (not too busy for a weekend). The attractions are also fun but more for smaller children. It's pay as you do things which is nice. You get wooden nickels lol! We had an amazing time and saw a couple cafes or places that look like they served breakfast too which is nice for a breakfast and dinner. On the way in we saw smokers that look like they bury the meat and smoke them which is where all that flavor came from! We will forsure be stopping in again on our next trip that direction! read more

We had such a great time at this fun space. The reason why we visited is because they had a market for children happening in the center of the trail. Dust town. By the way, if you're interested in that information, I found them under a little leaf market on social media. this was a really great experience and the day was super beautiful. There were snacks and drinks available in the gift shop although we didn't get any because they weren't any non-dairy options. There's lots of attractions like games, carousel, a train ride and lots to explore. We weren't here for very long, so I don't have much to say, but the experience overall was good, interactions with the staff was kind of interesting, but outside of that we would totally visit again! read more

This tiny pioneer western town is super cute. It's only open at night starting at 5pm-9pm. With a steak house, a few shopping boutiques, small entertainment rides (train, carousel, Ferris wheel, etc) and stunt shows. The rides open on certain days/times and so does the stunt show (F,Sat, Sun 7&8pm). Great photo op with old western buildings like the jail cell, gold mine, post office, barber shop, etc. There's also a studio that does old time photos. We came on a Thursday with no stunt show and stayed less than hour walking around, taking photos and visiting the gift shop and chocolate store. It has a few small parking lots surrounding the perimeter. Be careful as they were one way streets and there weren't much lighting. read more

Our first time at Trail Dust Town and it was so fun! Our kids love panning for gold which is what brought us there but we stayed for everything. The Halloween event was amazing. $10 wrist bands to ride all the rides and train was a great deal. They also had a dance party event that my son loved. Already planning on going to the Festive Fridays happening in December. This truly is a fun experience for the whole family. read more

A real kitschy wild-west amusement park. But if you like wild west stuff, the stagecraft here is better than what you'll find in Tombstone. Yeah, I know, that's controversial--the place emulating actual wild west artifacts is doing a better job of putting on a show than the actual historical landmark. Hear me out: -Their live theater is superb. I saw the "Pistolero" show, and it had quite a few memorable stunts, like pyrotechnics and tumbling from rooftops -There's a big barbecue restaurant! -There's an "Opera House" that acts as a sort of speakeasy when it's not being used for private events. It's gorgeous -There are a ton of photo opportunities throughout the space designed to look like a late 19th century town square Parking is kind of tight, and I know it's at the edge of town, but bear with it--Trail Dust is worth checking out read more

Trail Dust Town was one of the most imaginative places I have ever visited. I went there with someone and saw many teenagers enjoying the miniature train and watching the stunt shows. The atmosphere felt playful and nostalgic with old western buildings, music, and performers creating a storybook feeling. Teenagers would love how theatrical and photo friendly it is because every corner looks like a scene from a movie. The service was friendly and fun especially at the ticket areas and snack stands. The value was excellent because it is free to walk around and you only pay for the rides and shows. The quality of the performances and decorations was surprisingly high and everything felt authentic and well cared for. The selection of attractions was perfect for teenagers who enjoy variety and creativity. I have only been there once before writing this review but it was one of the most unique and enjoyable places I have visited. I highly recommend that teenagers go there because it gives them a chance to feel like they are part of a story and take creative photos. read more

It's been a few years since we have visited Trail Dust Town. We were in town from Phoenix and we used to always visit so decided to have a birthday dinner at Pinnacle Peak and ride the train with our kids after. I would say they have done a great job with the town and all the little interactive features. The train ride is $3 per person but if you ride with little kids the parents are free which is AWESOME! All in all, totally worth it. I would say the gun show is now more than 10 bucks per person. We skipped it because we have little kids, I'm not sure it is worth that much when it used to be a free show back in the day. read more

Took the family for some outdoor fun and this was so much fun! The parking was kind of tough so had to circle a bit. Kids had a lot of fun! We saw the Pistoleros show and enjoyed the stunts and actors and the pyrotechnics. There us a few basic rides and the whole place feels like you just stepped back in time into the Wild West. There is plenty of places to sit down and enjoy some food, there is also a barbecue restaurant. Plenty of cute places to take memorable pictures. Overall a very cute place to visit, there is no admission fee, however you can purchase tokens for attractions and show. Would absolutely visit again! read more

This is our go to hangout place. We used to have an outdoor mall where we lived so coming here it has that outdoor shopping feel but so much better! The town is really cute with lots of great shops and great places to eat. My daughter loves the Ferris wheel and the carousel. I personally enjoy the magic shop and the shooting range they have. We brought our family here and they loved it as well! The only thing I would recommend this place needs to work on their train ride. Other than that everything is great!! read more

We took the family out for some outdoor amusement - target practice, magic shop, candy shop, gold mining, train ride, carousel, and ferris wheel ride. Took a small train ride through the park and into two tunnels. Great comedic Western entertainment with gun shots, explosives , that had 5 year olds up to 80 year olds laughin it up . If you're ever in Tucson for a visit and looking for something to do before dinner, this is a great spot. My family of 4 had a great time and would definitely return. read more

This place is great for anyone who wants to see a resemblance of the old west. Made for all ages and saw a lot of kids. We went near close, so didn't have a chance to check out the entire place, however we were able to grab a drink at the bar and watch the Pistoleros gunfight show that last about 30 mins. We didn't eat here, but that had a huge restaurant and it was packed. The gunfight show was pretty reasonably priced and it was very entertaining. From the comedy and stunts, this was a very fun way to end our vacation in Tucson. It was a little colder that night, but they offered us seat pads to keep our butts warm on the aluminum bleachers. read more

A Tucson must see. One of the cute more affordable things to do in town, you can just tour the grounds, pay for the attractions, enjoy the pinnacle peak steak house or possibly catch a show. I love the candy shop on site and sometimes they have events that are very fun to attend. read more

I want to throw a big shout out to the staff at Polly Anna Park ~ Trail Dust town. We had our daughters birthday party there over the weekend, and our picnic hosts were outstanding. Being one of my favorite spots in Tucson, it was refreshing to meet a group of people who really seemed to enjoy being there. The moment we arrived, they offered to help with all set up. Their team remembered our names, helped unload our cars & just super down to earth people. It's not often you encounter strangers that take joy in working in the customer service industry. I want to add on even the small things like help my husband fix , hang and arrange our piniata line of crazy kids. We had 1 incident of kids getting in the restaurant & playing with the busing station. They politely brought it to my attention. I appreicated their level of professionalism and how they handled the situation. In all, we were so thankful for them. Keep up the good work! read more

Originally the site of Playbox Theater Company, the design certainly holds tightly to its theatrical roots. Filled with numerous independent shops and restaurants, the grounds also boasts a live stunt pistolero act most weekend nights. There is rumored to be a museum onsite however it could not be located at the time of writing. Regardless, come for the ambiance and stay for the photo opportunities; you will not be disappointed. read more

We went with our niece and nephew (8 & 6) and went into the "Magic Shop." The "magician" there started doing tricks and we were all really enjoying his banter. Then it turned really awkward when he started telling homophobic jokes and political jokes. It came out of nowhere and although the kids (thankfully) didn't pick up on them, it was extremely offensive and so out of the blue and so unnecessary Unfortunately this totally put a bad taste in our mouths and tainted the rest of our visit to Trail Dust Town. Don't think I'd go there again. read more

Absolutely love Trail Dust Town! They always have family oriented events going on. Like every Friday there is a farmers market filled with a variety of vendors. There Paws and Pints program is fun and appreciated by an animal lover as myself. They have a lot of collaborations with other wonderful company's that have excellent outreach and community engagement. read more

My wife and I just visited this past weekend! I Have been to Tucson many times but have never visited this well known yet gem of Tucson!!! It's really not big however we had a great time!! The shops were really fun visiting the life shoot out western shows are a must. Highly recommend!! The town opens at 5:00 PM. The bar and salon was awesome!! A hidden gem where the characters and shops come to life at night, With all the shops being independent owners the opening times can be quite differentiating. The restaurant on premise and the shops can be exciting when available, the story of the town itself is interesting and it's a nice family spot to lose 5 hours of time for reasonable pricing. I would say it would be good for anyone to try this experience at least once as it is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. It is highly recommended to check times before coming to ensure you get the full experience. The Wild West stunt performers are entertaining enough to go alone being the main event. Unfortunately I was not able to try their barbecue pit but I'll make sure to try it when I return this Halloween. read more

Even a train which travels around the entire "town". Lots of Picture opportunities everywhere. Random gift shops plus, a few of my favorites- Pinnacle Peak: a "cowboy" steakhouse. Casual, western. So don't get too fancy and wear a tie because it'll get snipped off! Or do, for some great laughs! Food is simple BBQ goodness. Dakota Cafe & Catering: Delicious "new" American food.
