Cute date idea. Closed toed shoes required. Came here on a Saturday. Booked in advance and our lane was ready. Our instructor was Kurt and he was SUPER helpful with instructions/tips/tricks. We threw axes and stars. A nice activity to have fun and blow off steam. The entire staff was nice, helpful and encouraging

I tried out St Hubert's a while ago and what a blast! It was my first time trying out axe throwing and it was a great experience. We had the whole place to ourselves and the worker was so friendly and helpful. He taught us how to throw properly and was very patient.

We came here on a Friday night and made the last open reservation that morning on their website. You can bring in outside food and drinks. Check their website to see the limitations on alcoholic beverages. While we waited, we played cornhole. They also have JENGA. We were given instruction on how to throw and feedback on what we could do to improve our hit rate. It took awhile for me to be able to get an axe to stick in the target but I expected that. I liked how there were different types of games and ways to score, so it kept things more interesting. We also got to try throwing stars. I think 1 hr is perfect for 2 people and I can't wait to come back here. They also have leagues you can compete in at this location.

We had a date night tonight and I picked this place for our date. Honestly, it's not on the greatest side of town... but we 1000% will absolutely be returning. Will checked us in and went over the obvious rules and some really helpful tips (newbie here). They have a giant fan that you can feel at every throwing area. At first I didn't really "get" how thankful is be about this. As we started playing, I quickly understood . They also have music playing overhead. They also have fun stuff like jenga, Foosball, and corn hole. This whole place had such a cool vibe to it, go check them out!!

Fun place, would highly recommend! The instructions are useful (and necessary), and we felt like the hour was good for two people. Loved the axes as well as the throwing stars!

This was our first time axe throwing and it was so much fun! This place is appointment only, so make sure you make reservations online before coming. We got there about 15 minutes before our appointment and were able to check in. They also have darts, jenga and cornhole to play while waiting. The coach was very helpful when teaching us how to throw the axe and we got to do a few practice runs before we started playing. Once we got the hang of it, it was much easier. Will definitely come back again when in town!

Had an absolute blast with the hubby here tonight! Brett took great care of us. Bathroom was nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this place! You're welcome to bring your own food and drink. Alcohol has some limitations so call or check the website before you go.

I absolutely love this place! I've been here on 2 completely different occasions. One was a date night and the other was a team building work thing. They were exceptional both times. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and personable! They offer a wider variety of throwing options than in the past. The area/neighborhood may seem kinda runbut the place itself is very nice.

We were gifted a Groupon for two people to go to the Axe House and were just a little skeptical…read moresince there weren't many reviews. We gave it a shot and ended up having a great time! We reserved our spot in one of the three lanes (each lane has two targets you can throw at at once), and were paired up with a family of four. They were very friendly, so we all just rotated through to all take turns throwing the axes. The axes are only a couple pounds, so not too heavy, but if it's your first time it definitely takes a little while to get the hang of. There is an employee nearby at all times to go through safety rules, teach throwing techniques, and provide advise throughout the two-hour time period. Once we got the hang of things, he even suggested some games we could play to make things more competitive. Overall, we had a great time. Is it worth $30/person? Perhaps. But I think the $42 Groupon is much more reasonable, and a price point where I'd likely return more frequently rather than 1x per year because of the cost. At $30/person you're looking at a cost similar to Top Golf which has far better facilities and higher overhead than a garage with wood to toss axes at. I'm not sure how it compares to other axe throwing places in town, but I will mention it's in an outdoor garage-type of venue. Not a nice, air conditioned building like others seem to have. The main reasons I docked a star are because of the price and the lack of air conditioning (I was definitely sweating!). I didn't venture to the bathroom because I read that it's just a port-a-potty, so made sure I went before we arrived. Again, for the price I'd hope for a decent bathroom! Bottom line, it's a fun date night and would be a lot of fun with a group of friends,.however would be even better if it was more reasonably priced!

I planned a date activity at Social Axe Throwing for my husband's birthday. Neither of us had ever…read moretried axe throwing before, so we had no idea what to expect...but we ended up having a blast! It was such a fun and unique experience. We arrived on a Tuesday shortly after they opened around 4:15 PM, and we were the only ones there, which worked out perfectly. This may have been why the manager gave us extra attention, showed us how to throw properly, and guided us through three different games. That personal touch really made the experience even better. For two people, I felt that one hour was a good amount of time--though we definitely could've stayed two hours at least if we didn't have other plans. Pricing for one hour is $54, which feels a bit steep, but I was able to snag a deal for $27, which was much more reasonable for a one-hour activity. They also had about five arcade machines set up with free play, so you could easily spend more time there either before or after your axe-throwing session. I didn't realize until after we arrived that they offer food and drinks too...next time, I'd plan for lunch or dinner along with the activity. This place would be great for a team-building event or a group date night. Axe throwing is a bit harder than it looks, but definitely a lot of fun. We enjoyed the different game options, like tic tac toe that made it even more fun. One thing I didn't love: when you arrive, they ask for a credit card to keep on file in case you order food or drinks. Then when we finished and hadn't purchased anything extra, we were asked if we wanted to leave a tip. I found that a little awkward. While the manager was super friendly and helpful (possibly because it was empty--or maybe that's just how they treat all first-timers), I think there should be a better, more subtle way to encourage tipping without putting guests on the spot. I did not let this impact my review.

It was my bfs work party so we got to enjoy a lot of things. We did the ropes as adults in their 30s and it was a lot of fun! Weight limit is 300lb so adults really can join. Even tho it was spooky fun at times, I felt safe. Wear well fitting, grip shoes and tie up the hair lol. Go karts were a lot of fun too. Can go very fast so that's cool. Of course experience can be altered with reckless people/kids if they bump into you too much. If you're wearing sandals they'll have you change in to some of their slip on shoes (ew?) I wish they could cool down the waiting area a bit more. Laser tag was fun. Loved the air conditioning lol. We got 6 min and it felt like an okay amount of time. A lot of space to move around and walls Arcade is smaller. But there's some really good games. About 5$/16 credits I played 3 games. Good air conditioning We skipped the outdoor mini golf, too hot, and it's not a done up mini golf, just simple. We ate the pizza and pasta. The vege supreme and pasta lacked flavor. The pepperoni was good. We had 1/2 rack pork ribs. YUM. Juicy, tender, full of flavor. Good amount of meat. The sauces you can add yourself are tasty. Really enjoyed that. Strawberry gelato was okay. The ice cream salted caramel was yummy. The waffle cone was okay. It was a Saturday 12-4pm, outside 101. And very low crowd. Plenty of seating. No-minimal waits The shaded seating with misters, we sat very comfortably and we have no tolerance to heat. Plenty of parking, it's dirt parking and dusty. We had decent customer service, yes young teenage looking. Most were nice If I was to pay and come back. I would absolutely hit up the BBQ place. Ropes and the laser and go karts are tied for me. That's my recc.
