Great experience. Easy to schedule a session online. It's byob but there were two food trucks down the street. The area was safe, clutter free. Great instructions. Prices are reasonable. The owner offered many games that were cool. Great experience. read more

This marks my second 5 star review of St Hubert's in a row! We did a triple date there last night and we had an absolute ball! It's a BYOB situation, which works out great for groups. We also brought our own snacks too, wonderful for those of us on specific diets. I highly suggest the VIP package so you can throw more than just axes but for me personally the axes worked best so I kind of stuck with those. They taught us games and the music playlist was spot on. It's not expensive and a great time for grown-ups to get together and do the things our parents didn't allow us to do when we were kids! Although they allow players from 10 years of age, to me, this is more of a grown folks thing. So the next time you're looking for something unique to do, I highly suggest you check out St Hubert's. The guys that run it are really awesome. Support local business! read more

My first time axe throwing and this place was great - super fun experience! Not a huge place so definitely make sure you make reservations. The staff was great; they really helped you to improve your throw and were very patient. They didn't just walk away and not care. We also got to throw the ninja stars - had no idea how easy that was! You can make this as low key or as competitive as you/the group wants to be. There was a large group a couple of booths down that brought several children (approx 5-8 years old), which seemed kind of odd. This is definitely not a place to bring little kids. My only suggestion is more snack options! I will definitely be back to try the VIP experience that includes shovels and knives! Super cool. read more

Cute date idea. Closed toed shoes required. Came here on a Saturday. Booked in advance and our lane was ready. Our instructor was Kurt and he was SUPER helpful with instructions/tips/tricks. We came here on a Friday night and made the last open reservation that morning on their website. You can bring in outside food and drinks. Check their website to see the limitations on alcoholic beverages. While we waited, we played cornhole. They also have JENGA. We were given instruction on how to throw and feedback on what we could do to improve our hit rate. It took awhile for me to be able to get an axe to stick in the target but I expected that. I liked how there were different types of games and ways to score, so it kept things more interesting. We also got to try throwing stars. I think 1 hr is perfect for 2 people and I can't wait to come back here. They also have leagues you can compete in at this location. read more

We had a date night tonight and I picked this place for our date. Honestly, it's not on the greatest side of town... but we 1000% will absolutely be returning. Will checked us in and went over the obvious rules and some really helpful tips (newbie here). They have a giant fan that you can feel at every throwing area. At first I didn't really "get" how thankful is be about this. As we started playing, I quickly understood . They also have music playing overhead. They also have fun stuff like jenga, Foosball, and corn hole. This whole place had such a cool vibe to it, go check them out!! read more

I've been to St. Hubert's a couple times now and was surprised by how much fun axe throwing is. Now I can, without question, say that I enjoy throwing pointy things! This local spot is a great activity for date night, friend get-togethers, family events, or work team-building. I've been with family and with my husband, and both experiences were great. The owner, Brett, is friendly and helpful. The coaches are awesome at giving tips, and I noticed instant improvement in my throwing skills after I took their advice. I liked the variety of axes you can try out as well as throwing stars. They allow BYOB and snacks and even have some nonalcoholic drinks for purchase. There's also giant Jenga and Buck Hunter if you have to wait for a lane (but I recommend making a reservation online). The price is reasonable for a fun, outside-of-the-box activity. We'll definitely be back for more action! read more

Went with a group just to hang out. The ninja stars were awesome and they gave us games to play-very fun. Would recommend

This was our first time axe throwing and it was so much fun! This place is appointment only, so make sure you make reservations online before coming. We got there about 15 minutes before our appointment and were able to check in. They also have darts, jenga and cornhole to play while waiting. The coach was very helpful when teaching us how to throw the axe and we got to do a few practice runs before we started playing. Once we got the hang of it, it was much easier. Will definitely come back again when in town! read more

This place is amazing!!! Brett the owner does an amazing job to keep you safe and have a super fun time. We made a mistake and showed up early for our reservation, but instead of making us wait he moved things around and got us in and set up. We had a group of 8 and this is a great place for group team building or just a fun group activity. We got to throw 5-6 different types of axes, throwing stars and even a throwing shovel... who knew that was a thing ‍ Brett showed us how to use each item and coached us and helped us make adjustments to help us be successful. We played a number of different competitive games and then ended our time just throwing for fun. I've been to a number of axe throwing places and St Hubert's is easily my favorite place. read more

Let me first start by saying that we called and spoke to who we found out later was the owner of this place and asked him if we there was space available for our group of 8. He said he was not able to tonight, so we started trying to find something else to do. Few minutes later, he called back and said, yes he can fit us in if we can be there by 7 pm. We showed up around 6:45, but the place looked closed (turns out the place closed at 6 pm). Few minutes later the owner showed up, opened the place and got it ready just for us. He actually came back after closing to open this place for us. Beyond customer service in my opinion. This place was unique and extremely fun. The owner taught us how to use and throw the three different types of hatchets, and he even gave us a set of Ninja stars to throw for some added fun. If you are looking for a group activity that has some competitive fun included, please go to this place. Not only will you be supporting a local business and a great owner, but you will have a great time. Thumbs up for sure. read more

Kevin the host greeted us as soon as we arrived and was a great coach. Space features lots of opportunities to game while you're waiting for your bay--darts, jenga, cornhole. Bathroom clean and tidy, great music selection: really amps up the enjoyment of the competition. If you've never thrown before, you're in great hands with Kevin and St Hubert's. If you have thrown before, you'll appreciate the thoughtful coaching from Kevin and the team to hit your mark. Highly recommended, will definitely be back. read more

Went for a birthday outing and had the greatest time!! I'm not a violent person. At all!! Let's just say I'm a lover, not a fighter and even I will honestly say I got great satisfaction when making a deep thud in the bullseye with a sharp instrument (just ignore my husband when he tells you I ran in the opposite direction immediately after throwing the ax and had to be turned around to show me my accomplishment). Brett the owner, was amazing at taking the time to make us feel welcome and going over the rules for safety and pointers to make us successful. The games they introduced were a blast and kept us engaged the entire time. Give it a try. You won't be sorry. read more

Such a great idea for a group outing or date night! This was my first time axe throwing, including my friends, and we all had an amazing time. Brett, the owner, was absolutely wonderful and kind! He was super knowledgeable and showed us different techniques to grasp axe throwing. From different grips to throw the axes, down to the various amount of axes you could use and what each individual one did. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be but Brett made sure to make it fun and to help with your form to better your stance and throw! I loved that there were multiple games you could play and the amount of time you had at your lane allows for a great experience. It's also BYOB and you can bring your own food in. This place is so fun! Whether you think you'll enjoy throwing axes or not, you'll like this place. I've been back twice now and hope to go again soon. The space is located in a small strip mall on Prince. It is not air conditioned, but has large fans. Bring your own food and drink (alcohol is allowed after 4pm and your ID is checked at the door) and get ready to throw some hatchets! Closed toe shoes and signing a waiver are required. It's a bit expensive but comparable to bowling or top golf. At $22.50 for an hour and a half, you'll definitely have a fun time. The owner and staff will walk you through the steps and techniques and there are 3 different hatchets to try out. They'll teach you a few games and then leave you to it! read more

St. Hubert's Hatchet House - We went as a staff retreat! - Axe Throwing Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Our friends found St. Hubert's on Google and I was definitely intrigued to come give it a try, albeit VERY nervous. I am not much into hunting, or weapons in general, so I was a little uneasy about the whole concept. The friendly staff made us at ease by walking us through the entire concept, and breaking it down step by step. They gave us options of different axes to use, and made sure to point out how to get better over time! We practiced for awhile and then played a few different "games". The three-stars is due to the bad neighborhood, high price point (another hour would have been $80 for the four of us I believe) even though we already had played an hour so it seemed like a discounted rate should be offered, lack of snack/drinks option to truly enjoy "hanging" out, and overall atmosphere. It felt very empty, and the country only music seemed like they only catered to certain groups of people. I definitely would come back, and take them up on the BYOB (two beers per 21+ adult) option, now that I have a better understanding of how to play the games and wouldn't need to practice as much. read more
