This marks my second 5 star review of St Hubert's in a row! We did a triple date there last night and we had an absolute ball! It's a BYOB situation, which works out great for groups. We also brought our own snacks too, wonderful for those of us on specific diets. I highly suggest the VIP package so you can throw more than just axes but for me personally the axes worked best so I kind of stuck with those. They taught us games and the music playlist was spot on. It's not expensive and a great time for grown-ups to get together and do the things our parents didn't allow us to do when we were kids! Although they allow players from 10 years of age, to me, this is more of a grown folks thing. So the next time you're looking for something unique to do, I highly suggest you check out St Hubert's. My first time axe throwing and this place was great - super fun experience! Not a huge place so definitely make sure you make reservations. The staff was great; they really helped you to improve your throw and were very patient. They didn't just walk away and not care. We also got to throw the ninja stars - had no idea how easy that was! You can make this as low key or as competitive as you/the group wants to be. There was a large group a couple of booths down that brought several children (approx 5-8 years old), which seemed kind of odd. This is definitely not a place to bring little kids. My only suggestion is more snack options! I will definitely be back to try the VIP experience that includes shovels and knives! Super cool. read more

This local spot is a great activity for date night, friend get-togethers, family events, or work team-building. I've been with family and with my husband, and both experiences were great. The owner, Brett, is friendly and helpful. The coaches are awesome at giving tips, and I noticed instant improvement in my throwing skills after I took their advice. I liked the variety of axes you can try out as well as throwing stars. They allow BYOB and snacks and even have some nonalcoholic drinks for purchase. There's also giant Jenga and Buck Hunter if you have to wait for a lane (but I recommend making a reservation online). The price is reasonable for a fun, outside-of-the-box activity. We came here on a Friday night and made the last open reservation that morning on their website. You can bring in outside food and drinks. Check their website to see the limitations on alcoholic beverages. While we waited, we played cornhole. They also have JENGA. We were given instruction on how to throw and feedback on what we could do to improve our hit rate. It took awhile for me to be able to get an axe to stick in the target but I expected that. I liked how there were different types of games and ways to score, so it kept things more interesting. We also got to try throwing stars. We had a date night tonight and I picked this place for our date. Honestly, it's not on the greatest side of town... but we 1000% will absolutely be returning. Will checked us in and went over the obvious rules and some really helpful tips (newbie here). They have a giant fan that you can feel at every throwing area. At first I didn't really "get" how thankful is be about this. As we started playing, I quickly understood . They also have music playing overhead. This place is amazing!!! Brett the owner does an amazing job to keep you safe and have a super fun time. We made a mistake and showed up early for our reservation, but instead of making us wait he moved things around and got us in and set up. We had a group of 8 and this is a great place for group team building or just a fun group activity. We got to throw 5-6 different types of axes, throwing stars and even a throwing shovel... who knew that was a thing ‍ Brett showed us how to use each item and coached us and helped us make adjustments to help us be successful. We played a number of different competitive games and then ended our time just throwing for fun. I've been to a number of axe throwing places and St Hubert's is easily my favorite place. read more

This was our first time axe throwing and it was so much fun! This place is appointment only, so make sure you make reservations online before coming. We got there about 15 minutes before our appointment and were able to check in. They also have darts, jenga and cornhole to play while waiting. The coach was very helpful when teaching us how to throw the axe and we got to do a few practice runs before we started playing. Once we got the hang of it, it was much easier. Let me first start by saying that we called and spoke to who we found out later was the owner of this place and asked him if we there was space available for our group of 8. He said he was not able to tonight, so we started trying to find something else to do. Few minutes later, he called back and said, yes he can fit us in if we can be there by 7 pm. We showed up around 6:45, but the place looked closed (turns out the place closed at 6 pm). Few minutes later the owner showed up, opened the place and got it ready just for us. He actually came back after closing to open this place for us. Beyond customer service in my opinion. This place was unique and extremely fun. The owner taught us how to use and throw the three different types of hatchets, and he even gave us a set of Ninja stars to throw for some added fun. This place is so fun! Whether you think you'll enjoy throwing axes or not, you'll like this place. I've been back twice now and hope to go again soon. The space is located in a small strip mall on Prince. It is not air conditioned, but has large fans. Bring your own food and drink (alcohol is allowed after 4pm and your ID is checked at the door) and get ready to throw some hatchets! Closed toe shoes and signing a waiver are required. It's a bit expensive but comparable to bowling or top golf. At $22.50 for an hour and a half, you'll definitely have a fun time. The owner and staff will walk you through the steps and techniques and there are 3 different hatchets to try out. They'll teach you a few games and then leave you to it! read more

Very disappointed with the reservation / cancellation policy. We had made and paid for a reservation to axe throw here. Reservations are required and a deposit is required. Unfortunately my father had a stroke the morning of the reservation and I had to cancel. We have young children at home and a night out sometimes doesn't happen for many weeks due to schedules and lack of child care. We finally have a night out planned and we called to make a reservation and use our credit and were told that you can only use your credit within 6 weeks of cancelling.... I just feel like this is such a short window. Because of this policy I will personally never make a reservation here again. The business has $70 of mine at this point and we've never been there to axe throw. Things come up in life and cancellations occur!! You should refund the deposit or widen your window. read more
