When I returned to the store and expressed my frustration, the manager said he would replace the lenses free of charge, but he acted as though he was doing me a favor. The repeated inconvenience of having to come back multiple times for the same issue has been significant, yet the manager showed little concern. He told me he "can't help with my life problems," as if the inconvenience were my fault rather than the result of faulty lenses. He also mentioned that this issue only happens to about 1% of the thousands of glasses sold, implying that the problem was mine--not LensCrafters'. At no point was there an attempt to offer a partial refund, acknowledge the hassle this has caused, or take responsibility for the repeated manufacturing issue. Considering the circumstances, I expected better customer service and a genuine effort to make the situation right. My wife and kids will not become customers nor will I ever buy another pair from them again. Too many competitors that will welcome our business.

I have been to this practice for several years and all of the providers I saw previously were outstanding. I think it says a lot about the practice that all of those other ophthalmologists have left and only newly graduated, inexperienced ones are there now. I am not going back.

She actually started out in Schaumburg but when she transferred to Algonquin, the Schaumburg store kinda went downhill so we hall it out to Algonquin when we need our exams. Dr. Wickizer gives a thorough exam and she also gave me different types of contacts to try out before I purchased. The staff when you are purchasing glasses, helps you to get the best deal. They will check with your insurance to see what your insurance pays or if the sale price is better. The only bad thing is glasses and contacts are so expensive but that is not the staff's fault, I know The pricing is set by "Corporate".

They are a lot more busy than last year and it's easy to see why. What stands out is the exam. There is another Dr. there, but the one I saw and my friend saw last year was Dr. Ymalay. He takes the time and listens to my complaints and then addresses them after the exam and kind of connects the dots as to why I had those complaints and how it's related to my prescription and health of my eye. No one really did that before. He made some suggestions as to the type of contacts I should use and the kind of glasses to get; not in a pushy or salesman kind of way, but more of an informative way. He also took pictures of my retina and explained how everything works and how things would look if it wasn't healthy. It's pretty cool to see what's inside your eye. Now the frames aren't high end or anything, but I thought the prices were more than reasonable for what you're getting. I've paid almost 2x more for the same pair in past places. When I get there I'm told the medical eye exam would need to be rescheduled. If they don't respect human beings I'd imagine they don't respect their eyes. Maybe I got lucky they cancelled my appointment last minute.
