    I would give zero if I could. We purchased 4 pairs of glasses last September 2022. 2 pair for my kids and 2 pairs for me. My sons Ray Bans broke within the first 4 months. They replaced them under the frame warranty and then 3 months later they were loose again. Went back to the store and they told me that the "springs" were worn out! Didn't offer to replace them or offer any discount. My $600 Prada prescription glasses broke twice! The first time they replaced them under the warranty. This second time I went into the store and the lady told me there was nothing she could do. I asked her to take 50% a new pair and she said the best they could do was 20%. What a slap in the face! I wouldn't recommend anyone going to My Eye Dr at all! They don't care about their customers. They actually sold us a pair of prescription glasses for my daughter who has 20/20 vision! Save your time and go somewhere else.

    Ever since Halpern Eye Association joined the MyEyeDr family I have been very pleased still with the friendly & knowledgeable staff, great service, and nice pricing. Well worth the visit.

    I am still waiting on my glasses and the funny thing is they only had to do 1 lens til after my surgery.

Exam went well but when I went to buy glasses, I was suddenly dealing with a "car dealership", at least that is what it felt like. I was told my glasses were over $800 after my insurance. I have paid between the High $200's to the upper $300's for years. After I objected, the price suddenly came down to the High $200's. I didn't appreciate that at all. I got a copy of my prescription and bought my glasses elsewhere. Then today, I show up with my daughter for her 8AM appointment, that has been scheduled for a year of course, to be told that her appointment has been canceled and rescheduled. She missed school in the morning and I took off of work in the morning for this appointment. The soonest they could "squeeze" us in was 11AM the same day. So I could drive home a half hour each way or hang out for 3 hours. Way to go...one mistake, o'kay. Two mistakes, and you could have done more to accommodate the mistake but didn't seem to have any interest in that. I guess you have plenty of business and you are not concerned. Not happy since you changed to Simon Eye and I will not be back. I am making an appointment for myself and my daughter elsewhere.

    I am an "out-of-town-client" that experienced a superior / initial consultation followed by…read morehorrible follow-up service @ Halpern Associates. In a nutshell, I travel from Fairfax, VA to visit my elderly folks in Dover, DE on an alternating weekly basis. During a recent visit, I accidentally tore a contact lens and needed an immediate replacement. Halpern Assoc. accepted my request for an appointment on 5/15/12. I enjoyed my experience so much, that I decided to purchase both new glasses and contact lenses after my initial consultation. At the conclusion of my evaluation, I was provided with two new contact lenses and I both paid for my (initial) lenses and new glasses. Dr. Halpern supposedly instructed me to call him directly to confirm my lenses were acceptable after wearing for one week - so he could provide me with the additional lenses. Apparently I misunderstood. Additional lenses were never sent to me after a month without any communication, I re-established communication on 6/13/12 to relay my concerns. Additionally, after speaking with Dr. Halpern (on 6/13/12), my glasses were not ready for pick-up either when I visited the S Govenors La. location on 6/15/12. I learned during this second visit that my glasses were not ordered until 6/13....AND that my contact lenses were to cost me an ADDITIONAL $320.00, which I hesitantly paid for on 6/15/12... To date, I have a supply of contact lenses ample for one year. I have yet to receive my glasses and have spent in excess of $800.00. This type of carelessness warrants NO REPEAT BUSINESS. I could have had the same procedures performed & received my final products in less that a week for LESS THAN HALF THE COST than Dr. Halpern's practice charged me in the Washington, DC area. BE SURE TO ASK ABOUT ALL PROCEDURES & RELATED EXPENSES BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH HALPERN ASSOCIATES!! If the back-end of my transaction was performed much more quickly / and with ample communication, I would have had a MUCH better customer experience. Unfortunately, the poorly trained personnel & unambitious staff has cost Dr. Halpern any future business on my behalf.
