Exam went well but when I went to buy glasses, I was suddenly dealing with a "car dealership", at least that is what it felt like. I was told my glasses were over $800 after my insurance. I have paid between the High $200's to the upper $300's for years. After I objected, the price suddenly came down to the High $200's. I didn't appreciate that at all. I got a copy of my prescription and bought my glasses elsewhere. Then today, I show up with my daughter for her 8AM appointment, that has been scheduled for a year of course, to be told that her appointment has been canceled and rescheduled. She missed school in the morning and I took off of work in the morning for this appointment. The soonest they could "squeeze" us in was 11AM the same day. So I could drive home a half hour each way or hang out for 3 hours. Way to go...one mistake, o'kay. Two mistakes, and you could have done more to accommodate the mistake but didn't seem to have any interest in that. I guess you have plenty of business and you are not concerned. Not happy since you changed to Simon Eye and I will not be back. I am making an appointment for myself and my daughter elsewhere.

He introduced me to Dr. Dave Creech to talk about LASIK. He had me at hello! I went home and epoxied my broken frames together and 2 weeks later I had the procedure on October 12th. The staff was phenomenal. They set up a script for a few valium from the Pharmacy inside Eden Hill to help if you are nervous. I was treated like a VIP while I was there and the procedure itself was 7 MINUTES. I could immediately see better when I walked back to the exam room from the procedure room, and went to work the next day! Today I am 20/15 in both eyes and I am seeing things I never knew existed. Goodbye eyeglasses and contact lenses, and hello to spending that money on killer sunglasses.

Upon searching and asking around I was directed to Boscov's optical where I made an appointment for new glasses. The store was clean, the staff was adhering to covid 19 cleanliness protocols. I asked for assistance in selecting frames and was not disappointed. The staff helped me find frames that matched my old pair of glasses and fit my facial features. I was not rushed and during the write up of the new glasses I was told about all the options for my lenses and given very clear (layman's terms) what each option did, how it can help, and if my insurance would cover it. I can not express how friendly and courteous the staff was, specifically Nyeisha. She was so knowledgable and friendly I would definitely go back there again for my glasses!
