This is the Only optical shop that measured my PD (Pupil distance). Dr. Gilbert was the only one that thought it was important enough to create an accuate prescription. And it worked! Further, there are no attempts to coerce you to buy additional services, etc. They give you a quote and honor it. I appreciate that considering so many businesses try to upsell customers.

I had them do 4 pairs of progressives, one of which was a a computer distance. They are all perfect! I guess I'll never know if I actually got the lenses and coatings I paid for, but they are exactly the the right prescription, with no weirdness, lightweight, and the transition is working, as expected. The turnaround was pretty quick, and they were nicely packed up when I opened them up. They had a question about my order and called to go over it with me. I am totally pleased with this experience and would do it again!

What's worse, when my daughter had her first eye exam there (and we agreed to the extra testing since it was her first visit), we were later shown eyeglass frames priced at $398 -- frames I found online for $115. When I brought this up, their attitude completely changed. Instead of acknowledging the discrepancy, they acted defensive and dismissive. It's clear they're taking advantage of patients by upselling outdated frames at ridiculous markups. This place is preying on innocent customers, and their shady, money-hungry practices are nothing short of a scam. Shame on the director and the team for treating patients this way. I have bought two new pairs of glasses from them now and the lenses are crap and bubble up and start to get blurry. With the first pair, I brought them in and the staffer acted like I didnt know how to clean glasses and accused me of wiping them on my clothes that caused the bubble. That is not the case; i have had glasses most of my life and know how to care for them. I actually use the cleaner and cloth they provide. The lenses are crap -- with spending that much money I expect them to last longer than a year or two. Never had this issue before.
