We had a Graduation Party for my daughter here and loved it! Our experience began with the party planner Iryna. She was amazing! So sweet and so accommodating. She did everything to ensure that we were completely happy. I had never had a party of 60 people at a venue before so I was very nervous. We texted her all sorts of questions and requests and she was always quick to answer. Always with a smile on her face. She made the experience so wonderful. The night of the party she even changed a few things for me last minute. The food was AMAZING. My family has a lot of harsh critics and not one person had anything negative to say. Garen our waiter was on top of it and very attentive. Took care of everything. The bartender Chris was great as well. Took care of all our guests with no problem. The bar and restaurant are nicely decorated but the wait staff and their service could really use some improvement. The menu choices are not varied and their offerings are thematically lost in identity such as the Sushi and Sashimi which are not prepared by a certified sushi chef. I had to go chase people down to refill my water...either, they need to hire more competent staff, or hire more people if they can't meet the needs of the customers. It wasn't good. The menu was changed from what we saw online and it was basically sushi or steak. Ordered the filet mignon and it didn't say which sides we asked what it came with. "Vegetables" they told us. I have no idea what the assortment of vegetables were but most were raw, weird textures, not good, and unidentifiable. Then there were plenty of these mini mushrooms in big clumps that were slimy and gross. Wtf? My meat was raw, and I can do medium rare, this was raw. Overall great experience!! The rooftop has a beautiful view, great drinks, and food. It can get cold at night so bring a jacket! All of the staff were friendly. My family came here on the 4th of July and we could definitely tell they did not staff enough servers for the night. Our server, Kristina, was so kind, warm, and she went above and beyond to make sure our experience was good even though we could tell she was really busy. The hotel and the rooftop restaurant has a great vibe and atmosphere. However, the food that is served is really just terrible. The prices are on par with other restaurants with dishes around $35. This place is nice. You get a great view of Glendale and adjacent cities. My friend made a reservation and was told we could sit anywhere but once we arrived we weren't allowed to sit by the fire pits since they were "reserved". Made no sense. The drinks are a bit overpriced, but it's nice if you don't want to go all the way to DTLA. Don't recommend the tiramisu. It was frozen and it's literally a slice from a box or something. This place is great. They have made extensive COVID modifications and the service is great, cocktails are yummy, and the food is delicious. If you go on Friday, they have their sushi chef in-house-- the sashimi is Fantastic. Even on cold nights you can stay toasty warm on the rooftop under a heater, and though I have never tried it, there is even a hookah menu. Went to the Rooftop on Friday night. You can only reserve by Open Table, the restaurant does not pickup its phone. Valet parking is only $12. It's a beautiful venue and very large on the 7th floor. There were a few private parties and the rest were regular tables. It was packed and had a great fun vibe with music blasting. We ordered drinks and shareable dishes. The food arrived before the drinks. The waiter apologized and rushed the drink order. I loved my Basil Lemonade cocktail. The food was just okay, but the restaurant is so fun you will forgive the food and slow service. We had a great night and will definitely return with friends. The views, especially at sunset are spectacular and the music puts you in a good mood. After sunset, tiny string lights provide great lighting. They even have a gorgeous wall " Wings" mural for pictures. Bring a jacket because it gets breezy at night. It's definitely a younger hip crowd. I had a very horrible experience today... I dont like leaving bad reviews, but this needs to be brought to the attention of the management team. We arrived and were greeted by very sweet hostesses. They informed us the kitchen was closed, but we could order drinks. We were kinda hungry, but said ok and sat down. We walked in at the same time as a group of others. This table was served a full meal and drinks. We thought ok maybe the chef knew them and didn't think much of it. Then another table next to us that got there after us was also served food. My friend asked if we can order food and we were told the kitchen was closed again. How's the kitchen closed when 2 other tables were served... and as I was ordering drinks I overheard a man talking down to his staff. I was really excited to finally check out this place, but was very upset about this whole experience. I felt discriminated against and I will not return. The hostesses and the bartenders were very sweet. Don't treat your customers differently! Oh and while we were sitting the staff took our heater and gave it to another table. Wow. This place is fantastic! I didn't even want to write a review because I want to keep it the best kept secret lol. From appetizers to sushi, to drinks to dessert, everything was PERFECT!! Our server was amazing. He moved the heat lamp to me when he noticed I was cold, he swooped in and replaced my chopsticks right when I dropped them without me even having to ask. When paying the bill I handed the cash to the waitress, she asked me if I wanted any change, I said I wanted to know how much the tip is and she said the change is about 18% so I said no change. This place is amazing. Let's start there. I love the view, The ambience, the food, staff and especially the hookah (in the smoking section) .. when you pull up to the hotel you take the elevator to the seventh floor and check in with the hostess. They do have a few lounge areas with a fireplace, if you're going to just much a little bit have a few drinks with Hookah that's a great place to sit but if you're planning on having dinner I recommend the tables. They also have a smoking and a non-smoking section not that it really matters because everything is outdoors but they do have a different sitting area a little less crowded and less men. The menu is tapas style so it's perfect when you're sharing. Also every table has a two hour maximum if it's later on at night and your table has ordered plenty of food and drinks they might allow you to stay a little bit past two hours. Weekends they have valet at the hotel $9 worth it, Or you can self park underground or somewhere outside on the street. read more

My husband and I came to the Glenmark Hotel for a last minute stay for anniversary. He had mentioned a check- in that it was our anniversary and they arranged for us to dine upstairs rooftop at the Mila Rooftop. Upon arriving they had our name already at the check-in for the restaurant in right away we just noticed the beautiful views and the really inviting atmosphere. The hostess knew our names and the other server nearby said happy anniversary to us. I can't stress enough how accommodating and welcoming every single staff member was. It was on par with the views, the food and the whole experience. Upon being seated they brought us champagne (which was delicious). We ordered the ahi stack, ceviche, burrata and the sliders - yes we eat a lot but thankfully these were all plates to share! It was so good!. We even had room for their decadent dessert which we highly recommend. I can't recall the name right now, but it was a pudding with pistachios. At the end of the night the manager came over and wished us a happy anniversary and thanked us for spending it there! This place is definitely worth the money, and we will be back - hopefully sooner than later! read more
