Mya Rooftop delivers on every level. The food is excellent highlights were the rice cakes and crab wontons, both packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The drinks are just as impressive, creative and well-balanced. Service was top notch from start to finish, attentive without being overbearing. And the real standout? The setting. Watching the sunset especially the way it reflected off her face made the whole experience feel a little unforgettable.

Wow the food drinks and service was absolutely incredible they were fast and the vibes were immaculate. I have to give a shout out to Stephanie our waitress she was sweet and attentive. We ordered the cucumber salad very tasty and refreshing. The toro shashimi delicious. And the rib eye steak with veggies incredible. We ended with hookah and the coppa cafe which is an espresso ice cream it was so good for the hot summer night

Perfect date night location. Great rooftop views, plenty of heaters and delicious food. We had wine, the ahi tostada appetizer, fish and steak dishes. We ended our meal with a decadent chocolate cake and more wine. Food and location are perfect. perfect. They have a smoking (hookah/tobacco) and non-smoking area. Both choices have excellent views with a full menu.

Beautiful rooftop and a calming atmosphere. My server was nice and the service was quick. I got sushi topped with lobster. It wasn't bad. Had a bit of an odd texture but it was a good portion and satisfied me for the night. The potstickers were not bad but they were described more as steamed rather than fried but they were more on the fried side.

Amazing Experience at Mya Rooftop LA Mya Rooftop has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles. The moment you step in, the vibe just hits--great music, gorgeous views, and an atmosphere that feels both modern and welcoming. It's the perfect place to unwind, celebrate, or just enjoy a night out with friends. I also want to highlight Iryna, the manager, who made the experience even better. She has an incredible presence--friendly, professional, and always on top of everything. You can tell she genuinely cares about guests and puts effort into creating a smooth, enjoyable environment. Her attention to detail and positive energy really stand out. If you're looking for a rooftop with excellent ambiance and exceptional service, Mya Rooftop (and Iryna!) won't disappoint.

Ask the Community - Mya Rooftop

Are kids allowed?

I brought my niece, and she's technically a kid, 17 years old. I hope that helps!

What is the maximum capacity?

250

How do you make an appointment?

You mean a reservation? You can call them. That is what we did. You can also take your chances and just go. They usually will have a table for smaller parties

Is the rooftop 21 and over only?

Is it 21 and over?

No but they do have alcohol and hookah

Do they have a 2hour policy?

Yup. Some times it's less. Very stupid.

Highly recommend! Classic Glendale establishment!…read more The Famous has been under new ownership, a lovely woman, who has great new ideas for the bar. Lots of themed nights and engaging activities to really bring the community together. I love the creative and fun cocktails. Lots of asian themes but also traditional tiki drinks. Unfortunately parking may be a bit tough (you'll need to walk) - either street parking (paid in front), free street parking in the residential, or parking at the mall

With the seemingly ever-changing landscape along Brand Blvd. in downtown Glendale, this establishment has been around since 2012 (which I believe was the first and only time I came here). Primarily known for its inventive craft cocktails and a killer whiskey selection, it was a nice place to sneak away into before or after your main event... or, maybe this could be the place to spend an entire evening. Would this bar famously make an impression on me to remember to return in the future!? PURCHASE(S) Fremont Brewing Dark Star Double Oatmeal Imperial Stout Beer 8.00% ABV 16floz Draft ($6.00 HH; Reg. $9.00): Dark brown color, coffee oatmeal roasty aroma, medium body, chocolate coffee oatmeal roasty toasty flavor, mouthfeel smooth finish, and coffee oatmeal roasty toasty aftertaste. This was a really tasty brew and my favorite of the two! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=ad_C9YTJYF9lVr2FOEQLkg 12" Margherita Pizza ($20.00 HH; Reg. $26.00): A simple pizza with a somewhat thin crust that was kind of cardboardy, the flavor was rather pedestrian with chewy mozzarella although the basil was fragrant and fresh. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=kdkvUttCLmMOAGQ1nyp5tg Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. Danish Red Amber Lager Beer 5.50% ABV 16floz Draft ($5.00 HH; Reg. $8.00): Dark amber red color, malty allspice aroma, low body, malty sweet flavor, clean smooth finish, and malty sweet aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=QQjsTWce5Lstcxj5PowrYw Steak Fries ($7.00 HH; Reg. $9.00): This was an impulse buy as something to pair with my second beer. After a few minutes of reviewing the menu, we each placed our order at the bar, our drinks were delivered quickly while the food took mere minutes to arrive at the table. We had to approach the bar each time we ordered something, but any empty glasses and plates were collected at the table. Once we closed out our tabs, we were thanked for coming as we headed out into the night. Everything was chill and easy - thank you! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance): I parked in the nearby original Glendale Galleria parking structure and simply walked over first to The Americana then to this place. Otherwise, there was limited parking along the main drag of Brand Blvd. and other surrounding side streets, the nearby Glendale Galleria II parking structure, The Americana parking structure that offered validation, numerous public transportation options, and rideshares - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A dark cavernous speakeasy-like place with open space, various tables and couches strewn about, and a large long somewhat decorative bar with an impressive whiskey selection displayed behind it. I appreciated the exposed brick walls which gave it that old-time feel with a few framed pictures hung on them. Minimal natural lighting came through the front doors and windows while minimal electric ceiling lights filled in rest. There was at least one projection TV where we watched the Dodgers game while music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=SomLKsk1KVcemeOCHGOZfg ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL It was nice to slip into The Famous Bar for the first time in over a decade, and if I found myself spending time in downtown Glendale again, I'd consider another visit. Sadly, I try to avoid the highly congested area as much as possible. I loved the fact that they had a daily happy hour (4pm-7pm) and late-night SU-TH happy hours (10:30pm-close), so there was always a deal to be found. The drinks were the main reason you came, while the food was just an add-on. The prices were elevated, but you had a good menu selection of libations (nice local craft beer list) to choose from. The customer service was easy, friendly, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... They have different themed nights with DJs & live music, & I believe it was Mediterranean night when we went. I could definitely see this being a fun spot to come with friends, family, or for a celebration. When we went, the restaurant was pretty empty...there was our table & only one other table, which was a group celebrating a birthday. Because of that, I did feel like the music was extremely loud for how empty the restaurant was. I completely understand having loud music when the place is packed & everyone is there to dance & enjoy the nightlife, but since it was mostly just the two of us trying to have dinner, I think turning it down a little would have made the experience more comfortable. We still tried to make the most of it and enjoy the atmosphere. The food & drinks were good, although I would say the prices are definitely on the expensive side. We still had a fine meal. I'd be interested in coming back on a busier weekend to experience the restaurant when the atmosphere is more lively. One thing I did notice was that an 18% gratuity was already included in our bill. I understand automatic gratuity for larger parties, but since it was just me & my niece & we only ordered one meal, I only had one drink, & she had water, it felt a little high...especially considering how empty the restaurant was that night. I understand this may be their standard policy, but it was something I noticed. They also currently have a promotion where you can receive a sweet treat or a drink on the house for leaving a Google review, which was a nice little perk for a first time visit. Overall, I think this could be a really fun place for a group, birthday, date night, or anyone looking for dinner with music, dancing, & a nightlife atmosphere. I'd definitely be curious to come back on a busy weekend!
