Just so so we went in on Friday night I think there was a birthday party going on for kids it's not really a restaurant it's just a very large pizza counter type place with tables it was exceptionally loud I ordered one large pepperoni pizza a bowl of crab soup and three soft drinks and it was 30 bucks the crab soup basically was tomato vegetable soup with a heap of oil in it the pizza wasn't really cooked all the way through and toppings slid right off the crust as soon as you picked it up The bathrooms were dirty and smelled terrible. I guess the only positive thing is if you want to be there with a huge group of friends and be loud and have nobody care it's the place to be fortunately for them there's an ice rink right across the street which probably gives them a ton of business otherwise I would say most people would choose to go somewhere else read more

I love this place! We don't eat out alot, and normally pizza is something we order in, but when we're looking for someplace non-chaininsh to eat eat, this is usually where we end up. Our three hour trip home had hit its fourth hour due to traffic. Thank you yelp for helping us find this restaurant for a quick bite to eat at 7:30 on a rainy Sunday. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you when its ready. The three of us started with a house salad, which was prepackaged and dumped into a bowl. Not so great, but it worked. I was just happy to see a fat free dressing option. My husband ordered the gyro. He said the lamb was great because it was sliced thin so it had a nice crisp to it almost like bacon. I had the chicken pita on a multi-grain pita. It hit the spot! Fresh, flavorful and delicious. Just want I needed and healthy to boot. My bother had the lentil burger pita and seemed to like his very much. Although the food was good, it wasn't great and did not warrant a $40+ check for three. Why only a 3 star? Food is 5 star. When calling for deliver if a male takes your order it will be messed up. Every time which is 4 times. Just my experience living here for 25 years. Ask for a female voice. When in person I feel like I'm interrupting sexual stuff going on in the back room. If I was 19, I would love to work here. But now I'm a 50 year old customer. Found this place via Yelp reviews and it was very close to my hotel. It is a very nice place, that serves Greek, Italian and American fare. It is kind of an upgraded pizza/greek joint you see up and down the east coast. The gyro pita I had, was one of the best I have ever tasted. The pita was hot and fresh, the gryo meat excellent. Also enjoyed some Letil soup. It was very tasty and had great flavor. The staff was very friendly, and the service extremely quick. The seating area is quite large, confortable, clean and very nice for this type of restaurant. Prices are fair for what you get. I would go back. read more

I was on travel here and I placed an order for delivery by suggestion of a co-worker. Per their web page, they had a "coupon" for a large cheese pizza and ten wings for $16.99. I asked for pepperoni and it was an additional $2.39. Then I inquired about the free 2-litre of soda offer and was not able to "combine coupons". I received the delivery in a timely manner (30 min as they quoted). The pizza was marginal at best - white crust, very flimsy, super saucy, with about ten pepperonis. Definitely not the crispy golden pizza I was expecting - especially for "locally sourced meats which provide higher quality" as I was told by the worker. I would look elsewhere if pizza is what you're in the mood for. read more

I was a little bummed out because I was expecting a sit-down restaurant. It's more like a take-out place with several tables to eat at. The dining area is nicely decorated. You place your order at the counter and then the food is brought out to your table. When my food was brought to me, the guy forgot to bring my coffee and I had to go up to the counter to remind him and then bring my coffee back to the table. I was never asked if I'd like a coffee refill, but in the end the coffee was below average anyway. The Greek salad was pretty good, with 1 stuffed grape leaf, plenty of olives and large chunks of real feta cheese instead of crumbles. The grilled chicken and pita bread was great in the salad as well. The salad dressing was less Greek and more red wine vinaigrette, I would have preferred Greek. The chicken lemon rice soup could have been a little thicker. You should be able to easily float a spoon on top of that soup. I was also a little disappointed that they didn't have hot tea. Like how difficult is it to have bags of tea and hot water on hand? It seems that this place may focus more on their cheese steaks and pizzas to go. Been here several times and I always order the same thing--gyro platter and cheesecake. Why change something you really like? A pretty good place for a quick and easy meal that taste good. There a tuna steak salad was very good. Grilled mushroom side was yummy. There's spaghetti comes with cheese melted on it unless specified otherwise. Always good efficiently served with pleasant staff who were helpful. Placed an order tonight, a Gyro Platter and Cheesesteak Sub. Once it finally arrived I noticed it was only the Gyro and Sub, when the platter was supposed to come with fries. By the time I noticed the driver had ran off. I called and the manager and he asked if I wanted a credit for next time or my food. Since I don't live around here I requested my food. Of course they didn't like that considering they were about to close. Over a half hour later and still no food and no one is answering at the restaurant. This is local favorite of ours. The place is clean and comfortable, the service good (well, its mostly self-sevice, but the food arrives quickly), and the prices are excellent. We can fill ourselves up, take some home, and still get out the door for less than $20 - can't beat that! We usually go for pizza - the Greek and White are our favorites. The salads and sandwiches are also good, as are the curly fries (best fries in the area, in my opinion). There is a definite Greek feel to the food and atmosphere, with a little Italian and American thrown in. We've even called in for take out a few times, and our food is ready in under 20 minutes. Like the guy Daniel A. who reviewed this place on 3/9/2014, I've been here so many times, "shame on me for not writing a review until now" !! I discovered this place years ago when we were all going out for lunch as a group from work. Despite having lunch/dinner here maybe 30 times or more, my experience here is actually quite limited as far as trying the food, and this is because what I've tried I've liked so much that I just keep ordering the same things. It's taken me years to expand my taste experience here, but I love going back. BTW, I've never tried their pizza, but I probably will. But why eat pizza when you can have something incredibly different! My usual meal is a sandwich or pita entree whether it's for lunch or dinner, and I usually add the bottled cream/ orange cream soda or their homemade lemonade. Sometimes I might add the rice pudding and rarely the baklava, which are both excellent, but the baklava is usually more than I want to pay for that moment of delight! The gyro is very delicious, and I used to order it with extra tzatziki sauce (it's homemade and chunky) until I discovered I was overdoing it, and it actually tasted a bit better without having the extra sauce. In other words, they make it with just the right amount! Other pita-based sandwiches are the Portabello mushroom pita and the all-veggie pita. My wife orders them all the time, so I thought I would try them, and when I finally did, I discovered that they are absolutely delicious! They cook them in some sort of unusual sauce, and it all comes out very tasty and quite hot (not meaning spicy hot) -- they also manage to heat up the pita bread as well. One other thing I've tried is their cheesesteaks. I'm not a cheesesteak aficionado, but I like theirs enough to order them repeatedly. I just have them put everything on it and have found they go very well with ketchup AND mayonnaise, which I never would have guessed. A word about the venue: It's a roomy place and very relaxed with quite a few tables, but they're well spaced out with several of them large enough to comfortably fit six or eight if you want to go to lunch with a group. When I go at night, it always gives the impression of being uncrowded. It's well lit but not so bright that you get eyestrain, and the staff is pleasant, although you order your meal at a counter and they bring it to you wherever you've decided to seat yourself. I generally bus my own table, as do the guests that I often come with, and stuff like napkins and utensils are self-service. As I said, it's pretty relaxed, and the food is prompt and delicious! read more

One of my favorite 'non-chain' fast casual lunch spots. Their pitas and salads always hit the spot for a healthy option but when I am craving huge portions I go for the Italian cheese steak. YUM.
