I'll start off with saying the food was excellent. As a matter-of-fact if the food was the only factor in my choices of restaurants, I would have rated this place 5 stars. I stopped in off the highway, my choice was between this place, Dennys, or waffle house. I'd been to the other two and wanted something new so I chose the latter. I'll start off with the music... the last thing I want to hear is loud, uncensored rap music while I'm trying to enjoy my dinner. The staff didn't seem any better, they were also "uncensored." There was a young girl -- from what I could tell she seemed to be the manager -- she was one of the main culprits in the loud cursing. She also didn't seem to be helping out much with the small rush of orders the cook was having, she just sat there on her phone and talking to her friend (the girl who took my order). The way I see it is, if the person in charge doesn't seem to care about the state and well-being of this place, then her staff probably doesn't either. And that alone leaves me with doubts about what goes on behind closed doors. Again, the food was great, but the staff leaves me weary. read more

The Alfredo sauce is phenomenal (It's not on the overhead menu, but it is on the paper menu) it's made fresh for every order. The steak subs are also pretty good. read more

I dropped into My Three Sons by a friend's recommendation while traveling from out of town and can guarantee it will be standard issue every time I'm even close to Edgewood, MD. The menu is extensive with a little bit to please everyone. The chicken pita was amazing... and the homemade baklava is ridiculous. Probably my new all-time favorite dessert, really... Authentic greek foods (soups, salads, deserts). Great place to get a few people together to enjoy some food and it doesn't matter if your a little loud. Very kid friendly place. I was there a fee days ago. We had a cheesesteak and a Salad. It was soooo good. Everything in the salad was so fresh it was amazing!

I live about 2 miles away and my wife and I visit My Three Sons on average about once a week. The wraps, salads, and sandwiches are very fresh and tasty! There's a selection of fries (curly, western etc..) and each are very good! I haven't had the Pizza in a while, but I remember the sauce being on the sweet side. A little different but still good! All ingredients used are fresh. Efforts were taken inside to give the look of part Cafe and part Coffee shop. There are plenty of tables and some cushion chairs and a sofa to relax on while you wait for a To-Go order to read a bit while enjoying your snack etc.. There is a TV (as in most restaurants today) in one corner as you walk in. But the sound is not loud and there's no music playing to drown out conversation. If you look closely, the tables appear to be converted old sewing machines! Just the bottoms which is pretty neat. After placing your order at the counter, you are given a number, you fill your fountain drink (if chosen) and then find a seat. Bottled and/or canned soda and teas are available if desired as well. Wait times are short and soon your food is delivered. Presentation is very plain. Which I like. Sandwiches and wraps come in baskets. However salads and other entrees do arrive on "real" plates. Meals are hot and freshly cooked. Just basic good and fresh food. Part way through your meal you may need a refill of that fountain drink. Go ahead, refills are free! Then when done, you carry your trash to bin and put plates and baskets on top. Kinda like Panera Bread. A quick "Thank You" to the Folks behind counter on the way out gets a friendly and appreciative smile and wave. No need to Tip, but there is a bin up on the counter if so moved... I leave a little for workers when I can. read more

My Three Sons has the MOST delicious pizza and best pita wraps around! I have been frequenting there Edgewood and Churchville location for years now and have never been disappointed. Used to *love* this place. Still love the food, the philosophy of using local, the family the homemade quality. But the prices now. Ouch. A gyro is $8.64 with tax and it doesn't even seem as meaty as it used to. I work just a few blocks away in the office park and I'm afraid this place has dropped off my lunch budget list. I got a cheesesteak sub, which was pretty good, although they salt and pepper it without your approval, then my sons wanted cake that we saw that they had...$9.00 for two pieces of cake that was of average size and average taste?!!! Where do they get off charging anyone $9.00 for 2 pieces of cake! The service wasn't the best at all, but wasn't the worst in this city, but I would NOT recommend anyone on a tight budget dining here, nor would I recommend someone who knows what a fair price is (whether they are on a tight budget or not) dining there. We ordered from there and they didn't bring the entire order to the house and then did NOTHING to make the situation better. The food that did come was average at best. Not even hot. I would highly discourage anyone from getting their hopes up from this poorly managed restaurant. read more

Usually good sucked tonight 10 mins to reheat an already cooked pizza I like this place just not tonight

I recently went to the restaurant on a Sunday evening with a friend. There were at least five young employees working who were standing around playing with their cell phones, joking immaturely, and acting unprofessional. We ordered two pre-made desserts, one vegetarian wrap, and a fountain drink. After sitting at the table for 45 minutes, listening to the young employees fooling around and the two black male employees sitting on the couch with their feet up, we decided to check on our order. The girls behind the counter were like....Uhhh. What did you order?? So, my friend and I stood there while they made our order. No one bothered to apologize about the wait, or bring the food to our table. The vegetarian wrap was missing ingredients that the menu stated it would have and my friends dessert was so hard that she broke her plastic fork trying to eat it. read more
