Tonight we decided to order out for my birthday dinner! My husband decided on a cheesesteak sub, which is the only thing he orders from here. When it was delivered we noticed from the cheesesteak packaging itself that they ripped us off. We then opened everything up we saw that there was literally no meat on the cheesesteak. We ordered from here multiple times before, we know what to expect and this is not it! I decided to call to see if there was anything they could do; credit our account, bring another sub, say they were sorry... ANYTHING! Instead the manager told us, "that's it, that's all we are allowed to give you, that's the serving you get." Like you have got to be kidding me. We asked for the owners number, and of course his mailbox was full. Unfortunately, they have lost a future customer. Bad customer service, and portion sizes small enough that you'll be hungry after. Short and sweet - Good Lunch Spot. I don't know if this is the epitome of Greek food restaurants or anything like some reviews I have been reading say, but this does have some good tzatziki sauces and some nods to Greek food (i.e. spinach pie & great pitas). This place is one of those you walk up to the cashier to order and then find a place to sit with your number (think Pei Wei). The decor by the entrance is clean with muted golds/greens with a charcoal accent, but the other 2 walls in the dining area are more like... an artists studio. They are layered with different textures of paint over other colors. The decor might not be mind-blowing but the feel of the restaurant is still simple and fresh. =) This place is great for lunch, but try to come off the peak lunch hours (12-1) because you will end up either double-parking or illegally in a handicapped spot. read more

Needed a rest on a long drive. Stopped here and had the Greek lemon soup. It was okay. I needed my coffee to go and they did not have to go cups. Turned it into an iced coffee. When I went to drink it, it was Carmel flavored and I dumped it. Restroom was clean. Entire staff was nice and helpful. They were trying very hard to accommodate each customer. I don't know the history of this place. It's a good size restaurant in need of an overhaul but clean. Very dated. There's a pizza station, deli station, food station, and coffee and dessert station. I would try it again if in the area to try things reviewers say are very good. read more

After being a customer for 11 years, tonight was the last night I will order from My Three Sons. I ordered 2 subs and chicken wings. The wings were hard, black and completely dried out. I called and spoke to a guy who said it was the grease that burned the food, and then I spoke with woman who claimed to be a manager. After I told her about the dried out food, she said they serve their wings crispy. I was in mid-sentence telling her there's a difference between crispy and burned and I was hung up on. I called the restaurant back and she claimed she previously heard me say "bye" so she hung up the phone. We were traveling through and needed to grab a meal and weren't interested in fast food so we stopped here. Overall it was a good meal. We liked the food and we're pleased with the price as well. The drawbacks were that it's not waiter service (you order at the counter, then they bring it out) and when we got there (mid-evening on a Sunday) they had already started cleaning and mopping. Felt like it would have been a little nicer if it didn't feel like they were in a rush to shut down for the night. I've purchased from them from Eat24 and picked up in person over 10 times now and think they are the best italian place in the area. This was a favorite go to restaurant but during COVID I have been re-evaluating restaurants. COVID is a public health emergency that requires only minimal corporation to reduce the spread of the disease to save lives. Wearing a face mask when advised by government public health officials is essential. All establishments in the state of Maryland are advised when indoors to wear masks mask--given the highly contagious nature of the Delta variant thus makes sense. Unfortunately too many Harford County restaurants are ignoring this guidance. I see this as a public issue and sanitation and food preparation are linked. If they are not using mask then I am left wondering what other public health guidance are they ignoring. read more

Was quite surprised by what I found inside. By the outside, I thought this was a Dennys-type diner, but was rather pleasantly surprised to see the non-diner feel and menu, and an authentic Greek-looking and -sounding guy behind the counter. Decoration inside- slightly modern and artistic, and rather ecclectic. Ambience was quite relaxed, with a cafe-type feel. The menu carries fresh salads (starting at $5.5), submarine and regular sandwiches (starting at $5), pizzas (from $9), and pitas ($7). There is also a selection of pasta, platters, sides, and desserts for those who are looking for more than a light meal. I ordered the meatball sub (~$7) which had plenty of meatballs (enough to literally roll off my plate) and a friend had the BBQ Burger Pita (also $7), which he said was good, but not enough BBQ for his liking. I stopped in for lunch here today on a drive from DC to Philadelphia. I ordered the Gyro Platter, which includes an open face gyro and a generous portion of fries. The gyro was pretty tasty. I think the pita bread was especially fresh, and the meat was tender and well seasoned. The food didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth, but something else did. The place wasn't full. Several tables were taken by dudes on their lunch breaks. Most of the diners were riveted to the TV, as news of a shooting in Virginia was being aired. The group of diners at one of the tables informed the server, a middle aged white/Greek? woman of the news, and her ensuing comments about the shooter's race was something I could have done without hearing. If the staff is reading this, please remember that it's best to leave your feelings about race and politics off the floor. You never know who's listening. read more

One of the best Greek salads I have had. The only thing was the extra charge for the small amount of Gyros meat received. It ended up being a very expensive $15 salad. Arrived here for a weekday lunch. The location is fairly easy to find and there is moderate number of parking spaces available around the restaurant. Inside is spacious and provides a reasonable number of menu items. Ordered: 1) Italian steak sub ($8), 2) Chicken caesar salad ($8), and 3) fruit bowl ($3). The italian steak sub is served on a soft sub roll warmed in the oven. The beef steak meat is only decent, however overall it was a good sandwich. My coworkers ordered the curly fries, crab cake melt, and italian cold cut. All of which they mentioned as pretty good. Service is fair. The more mature service lady and chef were quite friendly, however the younger waitresses working the cash register were not very helpful. Anyway, but on to the review! What a better way to grow my "Reservist belly" than by eating at My Three Sons? Between getting pitas or pasta, you can easily pack on the pounds by eating loads of this stuff. I mean, seriously, after spending a weekend saving the world from despots and other crazies around the globe by training mechanics (note the sarcasm - but hey, I recognize that I'm not in the 82nd anymore), what better a way to relax and grab a quick bite than by popping in here? The setting was quaint - a bit open and the acoustics could use a bit of work. However, don't let that fool you. The owner typically is sitting inside and enjoying life so it provides a bit to the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a place that I'll be frequenting while I'm assigned to my current unit. read more

Sorry people I'm a stickler for cleanliness and this place was lacking in many areas. We were the first customers to walk in today and I my first impression can be summed up in one word -- DIRTY. There was food on the table behind us from the night before. The floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The walls, the decor, everything was just old and needed to be updated desperately. I just hated the layout of is place. The menu was standard fare. We ordered some salads with chicken and the aveglemeno soup. I was honestly a bit scared to eat this stuff but I did anyway because we were so hungry. I don't know... I guess I'm one of the few people who really didn't like this place based on other yelp reviews. So take my opinion with a grain of salt. read more

I have been dining here forever, in fact when I moved to Roland park I still find my self making the trip for their delicious food! Talk about family owned, this place is where it is at! If you want non authentic, chain pizza from a store with no pizzazz or story or life go to Pizza Hut, dominos, or papa johns. If you want true authentic delicious food which is hand prepared then come here. To me this is more of a carry out restaurant anyways, I've never sat and dined inside because I just never felt like it. I'd rather eat at home with my family. I've been here so many times, shame on me for not writing a review until now. Decided to stop in one day and had a gyro with their homemade lentil soup. What a nice combination that was. The gyro was delicious, great flavor and generously stuffed. The soup is second to none. So damn delicious. I also had their pizza on many occasions. I usually order a whole medium or large for myself and eat it there. I'd order two and eat it myself but I don't want to cause a scene. Yeah, I'm fat. I had to google baklava to make sure I didn't butcher the spelling, which I didn't. Boom. Anyway, it's kind of expensive but it's damn good. Don't know what the average price of baklava is to compare. I just picked some up just before closing. They were nice enough to let me in real quick! The people I've met here are awesome. Great for a quick, tastey, well-priced dinner. I read the reviews and decided to stop here, and I agree with what most reviews have said: it really easy to find off 95, perfect for a road trip pit stop. The ambience is a little funny: part takeout, part self-serve, part sit-down restaurant. But it's very clean and nicely decorated, and I liked the family photos near the entrance. The staff were extremely friendly! We had 3 pitas (Greek with gyros, regular gyro, and chicken avocado), a Greek salad, lentil soup and chicken lemon rice soup. It was all fresh, tastey, and reasonably priced. They gave me a tea on the house as a thank you for stopping by! We were really happy with the food. All that for ~$36 with tip! I picked this place bc I was curious about the Greek food on the menu. It has a very extensive menu of pizza, salads, and gyros. But I was more in the mood for small plates. So I had the lentil soup and spinach pie (spanakopita - I love how auto correct wants to change this into cosmopolitan or spanking! LMAO). Both were so good! It really reminded me of having these dishes homemade by family. Also, I was pleasantly surprised how the tzatziki was very authentic tasting and fresh! We were at the ice rink around the corner for a college hockey and stopped here for dinner before hitting the road for a 2 hour drive home. First - pleasantly surprised by the location (appears to be in the middle of no where) right off the highway. Next - pleasantly surprised again by the clean appearance of the inside. Finally - large menu was a nice surprise. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. That was fine - we didn't really expect much more based on the location. There is a large menu board above your head that was hard for me to read. There is a menu taped to the counter which is awkward to study especially if there are other customers waiting in line (which there were not that particular day). Finally I spied some paper menus and grabbed one so I could read it more closely. There was so much on the menu it was hard to focus and decide what to get. We both settled on the gyro and a side salad. While we waited for our food to come out - the staff behind the counter were busy chatting with one another. A little too social and a little too loud for my liking. I didn't need to hear about the local gossip, who did what over the weekend (it was Sunday afternoon at this time) and why one didn't ask the phone order whether they wanted their sandwich "dressed" or not. Despite the chatter, our side salads came out promptly and were delicous and soon thereafter our Gyro's came out. The Gyro's were very good as well. I certainly wouldn't travel 2 hours to eat there but if I am travelling in the area again and at the ice rink or hungry when I am near that exit, I would definitely stop again and would recommend My Three Sons to anyone else passing by! read more

We stopped at a hotel in this area Saturday night on our drive from North Carolina to Boston. After checking-in we needed a place to eat and so I looked at my google restaurant suggestions and saw this place. From the descriptions I thought it was a nice sit down restaurant but when we got there I realized it was more of a take out place (you order at the counter) with some tables to sit at. My boyfriend got a chicken parm and said it was good, his son got the kid's spaghetti which was a generous portion of noodles, sauce, and melted cheese on top. He liked it a lot - I was impressed the presentation was so nice for a kid's meal. I got the Stromboli without cheese. It usually automatically comes with sauce, grilled onions, and cheese and you can pick 2 toppings. I picked mushrooms and then asked if I could get spinach (one of the pizza toppings but not one of the Stromboli options) and the girl behind the counter said yes. It was really good. Way better than I expected. It came with hot marinara sauce (very flavorful) to dip it in. I ate half of it that night and saved the other have for breakfast. The only funny thing is that I asked the girl what a Stromboli was - I assumed it was like a calzone, and she said she didn't know because she just took orders. Oops if you work at a pizza joint you should know! My Stromboli took a lot longer to cook then the other 2 orders, so my table was half way down eating before mine came out. Anyway they have books and coloring books and crayons for kids to play with it. There are a a fair amount of vegetarian options - esp wraps (grilled veggie burger, grilled eggplant, etc.) that could easily be made vegan if you left out the tzatziki sauce. I was going to get a wrap but figured without the tzatziki sauce it would be bland. It would be awesome if they carried hummus as well, so vegans could use that in their sandwiches instead. The pizza here has crust thats on the thin side. The sauce and cheese are good, but that sauce has a bit of a tang that I'm not a great fan of. I also tried the wings, which are good, and have just the right amount of spice-y to make me happy. Ordered fries with cheese and gravy together, small veggie pizza with jalapeño instead of black olives, and smokey veggie pita with jalapeño and tzatziki sauce on the side. Everything was very good. Infact, gravy for the fries was very tasty and delicious. I have never had veggie pita before. it was very good and healthy. It was very quick service as i waited about 10 mins, which is fair enough time to cook the food and pack the food for the customer. I loved that. Most places in the evening is almost packed and it takes forever to get dinner on the hand and have it before it get cold. In this case, im happy i went to my three sons for dinner. It was very quick. As in terms of customer services, couple youngsters were working there during the evening shift. Everyone was very polite, and understanding. I went back after picking up the order to make sure if the cheese was on the fries with the gravy. The guy explained well. And the girl who took order for me, came behind me to the car and ask me if i would like to have tzatziki sauce since they forgot to add it into my paper bag. You wont get this kind of service anywhere. They were extremely polite and caring for customers. About the sauce, i wouldnt have realized that i am missing the sauce from the order i asked for. They would have let it go. But no, they reminded me that they forgot to add it into the order and they gave me the sauce afterwards. That's very rare experience. They forgot my dessert, and when I called to tell them, the MANAGER argued with me about it. Why on Earth would anyone make a big deal over a $3.50 dessert, unless it really WAS left out? Furthermore, I watched the delivery take place, so the bag never left my sight once it was delivered. Stopped in at 8:30 pm for quick dinner on a long drive down I 95. Not far off the highway and easy to find with good parking. The young crew on duty on this Saturday night could not have been friendlier or more efficient. The food was good, but not great. I had the lasagna which was just barely warm enough and was on the soupy side around the edges. Flavor was pretty good but the soupyness didn't seem right. Vegan daughter had a veggie pizza and they were super nice about accommodating her no cheese request. To me the crust seemed a tad undercooked, but again, the oven was not going to be cranking on Sunday night between meal times. The toppings were nice and fresh, not canned. She liked it well enough. Of course showing up at 8:30 pm on a slow Saturday (three tables working out of about 20) you can't expect the place to shine, so overall, if I was in the area again, I'd give them another shot. And I'd try the more Greek style items; the Italian things don't seem to be their strong suit. One reviewer said it could use a facelift but just some freshening-up would add a lot. I took a chance on this spot because it is listed as Mediterranean food and I wanted a great gyro. I also orderd a large pizza with ground beef and onions because my mother loved cheeseburger pizza and it wasn't on the menu. I spent $30 for a gyro, large "special order" pizza and sweet potato fries. This was THE smalles gyro I have ever seen in my life. the pita wasn't even a regular size pita and it didn't have any onion but had lettuce on it which I have never seen on a gyro. It tasted ok, but not nearly as flavorful or packed as the other carryouts in the area and definitely nowhere near as large. The pizza was what REALLY shocked me- the ground beef looked like taco bell taco meat, little bits of ground beef and was sprinkled so lightly on the piza that some slices didn't even have any beef on them. I was STUNNED when I opened the box! The pizza was not flavorful and there were huge areas of the pizza that only had some sauce on them. I ate a slice becaue I was still hungry after eating the tiny gyro and my mother was SO disappointed that she only ate one slice. The rest went in the trash. I've ordered pizza, salads (greek/cobb/spinach), fish & chips, burgers and a club sandwich. The club sandwich was by far the best. The food has always been just okay. The best part was the delivery was quick. Today not so good. It took an hour, the manager was testy w/me when I inquired and when the food arrived the driver explained she had to stop (with my food in her car) and purchase a cell phone charger.
