I had my wedding photos done here in 2013, which they did a phenomenal job. The staff was very professional and the service was beyond my expectations. I also had my photos done for my modeling portfolio here with the same photographer, which came out spectacular. Recently, I needed a last minute headshot for my pageant and they were able to deliver it quickly. Louise is by far the best and easiest person to talk to. She was absolutely accommodating and told me she would take care of it. Edison went above and beyond as a photographer. He even helped me with perfecting my hair by spraying hairspray and literally ironing the curls for me just so that my photos would come out the way I want them to be. Cynthia, the make up artist, I've been using her for years for various occasions. Needless to say, she does a great job with my make up. I won't let anyone else touch my face. This is a one stop shop for me. I don't need to go anywhere else for my photos.

Located just steps from the east entrance to the 74th St station, this boutique biz has been a part of the neighborhood for a very long time. I'm fully aware I'm not the part of their target audience, have worn anything here (#2), so it's worth taking this review with a grain of salt. Despite my lack of traditional Indian attire experience, I've come here with friends and family to shop for sarees. (#3) Whether it was for tourist shopping in Jackson Heights or because they were hoping to rock a saree for an upcoming Indian wedding, I've seen a fair share of different outfits here and some of the stuff they have is pretty impressive. It's not all sarees of course, there's a whole spectrum of things they specialize in -- shalwar, kameez, lehnga choly, punjabi suits, silk suits, and children's formal wear. If they don't have items in house, they'll have it specially ordered from the motherland or import fabric for a custom job. Customer service could always been a bit warmer, but I say this because I think there could be a better hand holding experience for first timers out there. The staff seems to be able to speak a number of languages / dialects, which include urdu, Hindi, Tamil, and Punjabi. I was told by others the prices here can be a bit on the expensive side, but I also don't have a ton of experiences shopping in other similar stores. __________ (#1) Nowadays, more like little Bangladesh. (#2) But I've paid. That makes me a customer. (#3) Or sari. Whatever floats your boat.

Upon walking in, I remember seeing a bunch of old women sweaters, which isn't really what I was looking for (I was in the market for my wedding dress). They have some of their mens collection on the walls. They're true bridal clothes are in the back of the store, which is where we spent the majority of our time. They have a huge collection of bridal clothes and had quite a few for the exact color that I was looking for. The woman working the store, happened to be Afghani and didn't understand Hindi (spoke perfect English though, which was great for me!) and was a true sweetheart the entire time I was there. She was really helpful picking out different clothes and quickly picking up styles that I liked/disliked. She was also nice when trying clothes on, showing me different ways that I could wear the clothes. Overall, a really nice woman....which made me feel bad when we didn't buy anything from them. Their clothes were really nice, but they were a little pricey and they didn't have exactly what I wanted. If I had to do it again, I'd definitely go back there for any occasion that I was looking for an outfit for.

My best friend discovered they were having a sample sale, and we booked an appointment during a weekend trip to New York. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed. We had the entire shop to ourselves, and Liz, who assisted us, was incredible. She pulled dresses that fit both my style and my budget, made us feel so comfortable, and created such a relaxed, supportive, and fun environment. To top it all off, I found the dress. It was nothing like what I thought I'd choose, but the second Liz finished helping me into it, I had that unmistakable "this is the one" feeling. I returned twice for alterations, and every time, Liz was just as warm, kind, and attentive as during my first visit. She truly made the experience special from start to finish. I can't say enough wonderful things about Best Total Wedding Plaza. They helped me find my dream dress and made the entire process feel joyful, personal, and stress-free. Highly recommend!

If you're trying on dresses in the City, you MUST add them to your list. The space is beautiful, extremely organized, and very well cared for. They even have you remove your shoes, which speaks to how clean and thoughtfully maintained everything is. There is plenty of room for brides and their guests, and the large mirrors make it easy to really see each dress from every angle. They have a large selection of dresses in different styles, and a very large selection of veils and accessories. I felt the dresses were the extremely clean compared to some other bridal salons. My appointment felt very personalized from start to finish. Charlotte, my bridal stylist, was absolutely wonderful!! She made me feel comfortable right away and was so easy to talk to and work with. She gave thoughtful advice, asked great questions to help narrow down what I was looking for, and was able to find additional dresses that matched my style really well. She even found one of my favorite dresses of the entire process. She explained how the dress could be customized and helped show me what a strapless version would look like. Charlotte also went above and beyond by helping take photos and videos from all angles so I could really see what each dress looked like. She even took a video of me walking around in my favorite dress, which was so helpful. Her communication was excellent throughout, and I really appreciated how attentive, kind, and knowledgeable she was. She knew so many details about the dresses and what customizations were possible. She followed-up with a detailed email on what next steps would look like, and I didn't feel pressure to purchase a dress on the spot. Wedsing Atelier is also Suzanne Neville's authorized flagship store in the US, and those dresses are extremely high quality and have such a secure internal corset. Highly recommend trying them on. Some of the problems were obvious and others were hard to pinpoint, but the effect was a mishmash. My daughter called Susan and after several reassuring texts, made an appointment to come into The Wedding Dresser. From the get-go Susan understood what was wrong & how to fix it. I asked to stop the alterations because I could not afford to move forward. Susan said no problem and that the hem was done. When I picked up my dress, the hem was not finished, only the inner layers of the dress had been hemmed and they'd been hemmed WRONG! They were ascending rather than descending. This incorrect hem cost me $750 (1/2 of the total which is very high pricing!) but because I did not have an itemized receipt (though I asked for one) that price shocked me. The top layer was the shortest and they got longer from there so they were ascending rather than descending which is not how I brought the dress in or how wedding dresses are supposed to be hemmed. I called Susan, assuming it had to be a mistake, but she refused to fix her mistake. I found a seamstress to complete all alterations for 1/8 of the price. Susan had google remove my review threatening to sue me for defamation and extortion but I don't want her money, nor did I ever threaten her or lie. I just don't want others to have the experience I had. Google is biased and sides with business often. Customer service is all I ever asked for and wanted, a simple apology, any kind of offer to adjust the incorrect hem would have been more than enough.
