Amazing experience three times in a row! Princess weddings offers a variety of photo experiences that anyone could ever imagine. I had my wedding photos done here in 2013, which they did a phenomenal job. The staff was very professional and the service was beyond my expectations. I also had my photos done for my modeling portfolio here with the same photographer, which came out spectacular. Recently, I needed a last minute headshot for my pageant and they were able to deliver it quickly. Louise is by far the best and easiest person to talk to. She was absolutely accommodating and told me she would take care of it. Edison went above and beyond as a photographer. He even helped me with perfecting my hair by spraying hairspray and literally ironing the curls for me just so that my photos would come out the way I want them to be. From the beginning, Louise was very accommodating and knowledgeable to all our needs and assisting us in our wedding plans. We hired them for our outdoor wedding photos and they came out absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't believe how Edison, our photographer, captured us at all the right angles and right moments. He was forever patient, detail-oriented and passionate throughout the entire outdoor photo session. We traveled to the Brooklyn Bridge area to take photos around 2:30pm and we were able to take advantage of the gorgeous sunset. For our outdoor wedding photos, A Wei helped me try on several wedding gowns until we found the right one. She was so patient and really listened to my ideas on what I wanted and she came through by showing me a mermaid gown with laces in back. It was exactly what I wanted! I also tried on a qwa(traditional Chinese 2-piece dress) and 2 evening gowns but I only went with a wedding gown for our outdoor photos and another one for my banquet in January. Cynthia did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. It stayed perfect for the entire outdoor wedding photo session. She created a beautiful side bun hairstyle for me that made me look so elegant and classy. Cynthia did such a fantastic job, I reserved her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding banquet too. Louise also helped us create our wedding invitations since they had to be in English and Chinese. She also gave us an option to customize our invitations with a picture or any character or symbol of our own creation. This is my first time having a wedding photo shoot at Princess wedding studio, with the gratitude customer service they provide a wonderful experience. Even though my album collection was simple but it is enough. Louise is very helpful and detail with us, because I urgent to get a photo shooting during this pandemic, having her schedule my appointments was easy, she provide me few package to choose and really fast respond, I like how genuinely honest she is. Makeup artist Cindy she did a great job, by giving suggestions for the wedding dress and doing my make up was as I was expecting. Photographer Edison was very experienced, his ideal photo is to catch your most natural looking instead of weird standard photo, we were struggling with our poses that he made it comfortable for us and took a very natural shooting. Last Saturday we took our baby girl who just turned one month to have a one month photo taken in Princess Wedding Studio. I had my wedding photo taken by Princess Wedding in 2018 and now I'm coming back for my baby. My whole family is so happy with the service and photo!!! They did a great job capturing the most special moment of my baby girl, who kept on crying and throwing out tantrum on that day. This review is long overdue, my wedding and experience her was over 4 years ago. I came here for my wedding picture, video, and limo package. There's many different packages, and I'm sure since I've been there the packages has change and so has the prices. The prices and packages are there as a guideline, so don't be afraid to negotiate and change the package and pricing to your liking. I do like that this place was a one stop shop when we were doing our wedding picture hunting. it included so many things, pre-wedding pictures (2 different days), wedding day pictures and a videographer, a limo for 8 to 10 hours depending on what you want and negotiate, a big picture to welcome your guests during your wedding day, a long scroll to have guests sign, and tons of pictures. And not to forget, it also included the dresses and tux for each photo shoot and clothes for the bridal party. They recommended a florist who did a decent but not phenomenal job. Lastly, when we were done with our whole wedding, they started to have photobooths. So perhaps that's part of the wedding packages now. Keep in mind this wedding place is run by Chinese people and most of the clients are Asian. Most of the dresses and tux generally will be on the skinnier side since most Asians are on the skinnier side. If you believe this to be an issue, definitely ask to browse their dress and tux selection before putting down a deposit. Once you put down a deposit, your stuck with them and it'll be impossible to get your deposit back. But that rule applies to any company. The staff here was generally nice and helpful. Edison was our photographer and each picture he took was beautiful art. My wife and I really liked his style. A note about outdoor photos, you have to provide transportation for both your party and the photographer. This place was really a good experience overall. Why not a full 5 star review? The payment plan I felt was flawed and definite in the favor of the wedding studio. You pay in installments, first photoshoot, second photoshoot, and then wedding day. After the second photo shoot you already paid approximately 90-95% of the money already. So towards the end near the wedding day, where it becomes very stressful for any couple I felt like since majority of your money is paid already, we were put to the back burner. When we needed assistance or correction on certain things, they would assist newer customers first and we would find ourselves waiting. I would still recommend this place. But before paying, make sure the dress and tux selections are to your liking and size. I would also negotiate the payment allotment plan. My entire experience with Princess Wedding Studio has been phenomenal. My husband and I visited the studio a year before our wedding date to explore packages and received great, friendly treatment from the staff. We felt like a valued customer already, before we even booked with them! Based on the photography alone, the package is totally worth it. We chose one that had everything we needed for the wedding day including pre and day-of wedding photos; transportation; rental outfits for the bride, groom and wedding party; hair and makeup; video, photo books, and more. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. We worked with Angela the most and she made the scheduling and planning easy. Very accommodating and understanding to your needs and schedule. The dress and make up department is superb at their work. The tailoring is really good and quick. I can't say enough about the hair and makeup. Love Cynthia! She made me feel so pretty and had great recommendations on the styles I wanted. Very easy to talk to and I felt completely relaxed and trusting in what she thought would look best for me. The wedding dresses are amazing! They have plenty of options to choose from and if they don't have what you want, they can help you order what you want at a small fee. Very modern dresses and they were all in great condition - it was really hard to pick dresses because they were all so beautiful. Bridesmaid dresses were also very nice and lots of options. I ordered new dresses in a color that wasn't available there way in advance of my wedding. It came in good timing and the tailoring was perfect. Our photo shoots went smoothly and Angela kept us in the loop about what to do the day before the shoot. We had both indoor and outdoor sessions and Edison got some amazing shots. We booked our photo booth through Princess as it was very convenient. Angela was great in helping us follow up with Smart Booth to make sure we had everything ready to go leading up to the wedding day. We received our photo booth CD pretty quick. On the wedding day, things were perfect. A big wedding party arrived to the makeup studio after my group and the team managed things quickly while making sure my group was well taken care of. Hair and makeup was great and lasted well throughout the day. Louise is very talented and did makeup for some of my bridesmaids which looked great. Princess helped manage our schedule which kept us on near perfect timing for the entire day. Can't say enough good things about our photographer Edison (Fai Chen). He is fast, attentive, really good eye for photos, easy to work with and knows what looks good. Our videographer, James, was so nice and great to work with. He was patient and so friendly. They made us feel calm and relaxed on the wedding day which is a big plus - you are certainly in good hands with this talented team. We got a beautiful DVD and the video was SO nice. The wedding day photos took a while but wow, when we received them, the quality was superb. Certainly worth the wait. Gorgeous shots, shots we didn't even know was captured, which is so important for the big day. We got three photo albums with our package. One big one and two smaller ones for our families. The only good thing about this place is the photographer, Edison. He has a good taste and he can direct you during photoshoot. Other than that I am super disappointed with the service and everything else. First, the lady who helped me to get dressed was super unhelpful. When we asked her for another dress options or alterations, she simply gave us a shitty look. I wonder whether she likes her job or not. I feel like she doesn't enjoy what she's doing. Second of all, we requested Edison as our photographer for our wedding day but he can't do it. That's totally fine with us because he had something to do on that day. So he told us to pick another photographer and he showed us their portfolios, and we picked one for our wedding day. Guess what... on the day of our wedding, it wasn't the photographer that we picked. Couple months later we received our wedding pictures and they came out super f* ugly. It was a DISASTER. He didn't know when to capture the right moment, bad angles.... SUPER SUPER SUPER, MILLION TIMES, SUPER DISSAPOINTED!! This is our wedding day and it only happened once in a lifetime. My husband and i were looking for a place to take some nice studio wedding photos since we already had our outdoor honeymoon photo session in Hawaii. We searched many places and decided on Princess due to their professionalism and option for photo packages. They offer a variety of packages for different occasions at reasonable prices. From booking to the actual photo session, everything went smoothly. The hair and makeup was perfect- the artist asked me if i wanted anything specific and if i didn't she would use her own judgement to make me look nice. The photographer was really fun and engaging and the photos turned out beautiful! At the end we liked every photo he took and so it was difficult to choose. He gave us a lot of direction while taking photos so if you're concerned about how you look- don't worry, he will make sure you look your best! Shady, shady, shady! We originally booked Princess for Engagement shoot, wedding shoot, bridesmaid dress rentals, engagement shoot dress rental and makeup, thinking it was a great price and efficient. However after seeing how they managed the engagement shoot, we pulled out of everything except for the photography and videography (locked in by contract). First of all, rentals were super tattered and old. One dress I had on had HOLES all over the lace skirt. Bridesmaid dresses also looked super frayed from over-altering. I said fudge it and brought my own engagement dress and all the bridesmaid dresses. Then comes management. We worked with Louise on coordinating everything. She will promise the world to you in the beginning and fail to deliver at the end, and try to charge you extra for all the things she say are free at first. Also she will contact you super last minute, really frantic bc she forgot about your event. This happened with our engagement site which she forgot about the site we chose, realize we don't have enough time to submit the site application, and made us choose a different spot right that minute. Makeup. Again, it's shady. Louise said she uses freelance makeup artists and that brides have choices on who to use, which is only half true. She says this but gives no info on who these MUAs are. We tried to bargain the price on this and she said it's not up to her to decide bc they are free lance MUAs. This is a lie, bc they have a house MUA. Moreover, their makeup brushes are very dirty and they are heavy handed with makeup. My face was super itchy and nose was peeling from the application. I only used them for the engagement shoot, and opt for another MUA for the day of. Photography. Edison's engagement shoot of us were great. Pics turned out really nice. That's the only positive thing. Pictures took FOREVER to edit. I don't understand why because all they did was use the skin softener (anyone who knows photography will tell you it takes 2 secs to do) We will probably get our wedding pics in 5 years. Videography. Dude was on his phone the whole time. My guests pointed it out to me, that he wasn't even filming. Ugh. Heed my words and look elsewhere. But if you really want to book them, just make sure everything is on contract. Also, don't bother with the edited photos just ask for the raws and have someone else edit it for you read more

Owner is respectful and will take care of all your needs. She is nice, even after I paid- some reviews say that her attitude changes right after you pay, which is not true. Edison, is a great photographer. We had no experience in taking photos, he taught us everything, and the photos came out great. We needed retouch photos back so we can get in time for our wedding. Booking with Princess was the worst wedding decision we've ever made. I wish I could turn back time and book another company else instead. It has been a year since our wedding and to this day, I am still mad about wasting my $ on them. They've disappointed us BIG time. When we signed the contract, we were told that we can eventually choose our wedding photographer depending on how we liked our 2 day engagement photos (done by 2 diff. photographers). When the day came closer to the wedding, I had requested for Jason and to our surprise they said "no, he's not available" so I said ok, I'll take the other one and to my surprise he wasn't either. Ok, so what was the point of giving them to us for engagement photo to trial if they're not available for our wedding?! How messed up is it to just give us another photographer that we have never met & worked with! Long story short. The 2 photographers they end up giving us was someone that we've never worked with. So disappointed that they didn't capture some important moments. There were many shots that had sun glare and aren't even usable for album (a good photog would know how NOT to have us stand there if the sun is right above us). We felt as if they were just randomly taking pictures and not focusing on special moments. The 2nd photographer took detail pics BUT why were they in "fish eye" lens??? There were just too many pics that we weren't happy with. We also didn't have a nice full pic of our wedding cake. Don't even get me started with the video we got back. It took a good 8 months to get it back and it was so disorganized. You would think the highlight video should HIGHLIGHT the special moments right? So why is everything all over the place.... it didn't have us working down the aisle or our first dance ....etc. There were moments of ppl dancing during the reception towards the beginning of the video (the order of the video made no sense). I didn't even bother complaining at that moment. We just wanted to get our cd's and get it over with. It has been a very frustrating experience. read more

I was promised the kids will have their hair done prior to the photoshoot (which I'm willing to pay for) but when we got there, they forced the kids to take pictures with their bed heads and messy hair. The pictures came out to be a disaster and they did not want to redo the photos. They have stopped contacting us regarding this matter and now they've lost the whole file. Out of all the wedding studios in the NYC area, I found that this one produced the most creative and professional pictures. I am a very very picky person. When I had to choose a studio for my wedding pictures, I looked at every possible place in Flushing and Chinatown. I even went to a few American places in the city and in Long Island. This studio far exceeded the pictures from any other studio that I visited. The samples that I was shown were just captured by the photographer a few weeks before. The couple looked wonderful. I figured if my pictures looked half as good as the ones that they showed me, I would be very content. During our two shooting sessions, the photographer captured all of our pictures in just the right lighting and angles. Even for our wedding, when we could not stop to pose for our pictures, the photographer captured everything beautifully. The pictures came out AMAZING! We also had a videographer for our wedding, and the dvd they put together was extremely sweet! They captured every moment perfectly. The makeup artist is extremely talented too. She helped me achieve the exact look that I wanted, beautiful but natural, so I looked like myself, but with a flawless complexion. She did exactly that- for the three times that she worked with me. I even had her accompany me to my reception, so she could help me with touchups and change my hairstyle throughout the night. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a perfect wedding. The girls that work there are veryyyy patient and nice. I spent so many hours trying on all their dresses to find the exact ones that I wanted to wear for my wedding, and to be photographed in. They patiently helped me as I changed from one dress to another and another and.... etc etc. Oh, and about their dresses. They have so many to choose from! From big and poofy to slim and slender. Their dresses are also very stylish and modern. I fell in love with a lot of them! You will look like someone from a magazine ad! Before you hand your deposit to them, they promise you everything. Afterwards, then everything costs extra. We asked for a specific photographer and they said normally, you have to pay extra but they said we will give it to you anyway. However, during our photoshoot it was a different photographer and they said there was nothing they could do now unless we wanted to wait another 5 months as they said they were completely booked (I think it was a lie). Afterwards, there were things wrong with some of the photos and they had gave a bad attitude when we pointed it out. NOTE: if you decide to use them, bring your own suit because their options are limited. There were no instructions except to come but their suits were a tad too large for me. read more

I searched online and Princess Wedding Studio has one of the most natural and beautiful pictures of couples. I just wanted to take indoor and outdoor pictures of my husband and me. Emily helped us negotiate a contract. On the same day, Coco, the makeup artist, helped me pick dresses for indoors and outdoors. She was incredibly patient. Highly recommend Edison for the photographer, our indoor pictures came out really well. Lele was my makeup artist. If I knew beforehand, I would've bought in pictures of hairstyles I wanted. My hairdo's literally looked like bumps/ growths out of my head. I knew she was getting tired, at the end of the shoot my hair just looked catastrophic. The makeup was good though. The day of my outdoor session was bad. My dresses did not fit. Even though, I was told I did not have to go and get fitted into my dresses, because I had done so probably 2 weeks prior to the outdoor shooting. Lele did my makeup and hair this time too. This time I showed her probably a dozen hairstyles I would've liked. She chose a combination. It turned out well. Coco and Lele had to work their magic to make it fit. When I had to change into my 2nd dress when I left the studio, it didn't fit. I should've tried on the 2nd as well when I was there.Thank goodness my husband somehow made this dress fit. The pictures for my outdoor session are horrible. My photographer was Liang that day. His pictures online are beautiful, I really do not know what happened. There is a 1 month+ wait to see the negatives. These pictures/negatives were disgusting. Awkward poses. Only a handful were presentable. Several pictures I didn't have a neck. I looked probably 20 lbs overweight. My husband and I take better pictures by ourselves. Granted they retouch these pictures, but come-on! After a few months, we picked up everything. We were given a chance to view everything. But, for some reason the album, which is included in the package came out with several really awkward pictures. One picture my arm is photoshopped too much and its not proportional to my body. Other pictures, my husband's eyes are larger than the other. Really disproportioned. Some of the pictures had too bright of a lighting. Overall, not satisfied with the majority of the pictures. read more

I know how important a wedding can be and mine certainly was on Sept. 2013. I was pretty particular and I knew what I wanted and what I didn't want. I was with another studio when a friend told me about Princess. After meeting with Louise and being unhappy with 'studio 1' I ended up canceling my contract with 'studio 1'. By doing so I was certainly spending more money but I thought it was worth it if I was going to get what I wanted - And Louise made me feel like I was going to get what I wanted. To make the long story short: Wedding Video - Just terrible. The quality of the video was horrendous. It is jumpy and not steady. The sound quality was terrible. I got exactly what I didn't want - a tacky bad quality video. I had a beautiful cocktail hour that my family and friends spent months and hours putting together and I had no clip of it on the video. Princess did not do anything to fix it. And we had to wait about 9 months to get this amazingly horrendous video. Before I sign with them they had shown me some nice videos of previous weddings and this is not what I got. Totally false advertising! Pictures - I kept asking them who my photographer was going to be. I have seen a bunch of photos of previous weddings that they did and whoever I said I liked they said they didn't know if I could get that person. I basically found out who my photographer was when he showed up the day of the wedding. Photos were okay not great. Photographer was a nice guy though. Dress - Although I bought all my dresses I did use one of theirs. The dress had a snag that the seamstress said she was going to fix and on the day of the wedding - the snag was still there. Basically, once the contract is signed and you are locked in....everything changes from there. I just hope this is helpful to other brides. read more

I love this Wedding Studio. My friend got married yesterday along with two other brides. The ladies there made sure our bridesmaid dresses were altered correctly and were even able to fix it the day of the wedding. The makeup artists here are superb as well. I didn't feel 10 pounds of makeup on me and it didn't look too dramatic. They ask you what hairstyle you prefer. There are a wide selection of dresses for the brides to try on. Surprisingly, the brides that got married yesterday also had on the same coral color bridesmaid dress on. It looked so beautiful. Everyone here made it so easy for us, without having to stress. Louise was the one who I dealt with for the most part and she is the most adorable, stylish and funny person to deal with. Not only was she patient in explaining everything to me but she is also willing to be flexible and makes every effort to meet the needs and requests of her brides and grooms. The two things things that mattered to me most when I went studio searching was: Style/quality availability of both white gown and bridesmaid) and the quality of the photographers and their photos. Both my husband and I come from art backgrounds so we are quite finicky about the quality of photos and our photographers exceeded our expectations. Even though my relatives eventually bought me my white wedding gown, I was still very impressed with the selection of gowns they carry and did have an opportunity to wear them for my indoor/outdoor studio photos. I believe they truly do have something to suit every girls tastes so I highly recommend all the bride-to-be's to at least pay them a visit and see for yourselves. We had Edison as our indoor and outdoor photos and let me tell you, this guy is the funniest guy to work with. He's honest about what will or will not look good and does not hesitate to put you in a million different poses until he can find the right one for you. He gives good tips on how NOT to pose and I can promise you that this advice will serve you well on your wedding day. It was like I heard his voice in the back of my head on our wedding day, directing us all over again. I had a different photographer and videographer on the day of my wedding and even though I forget the name (since I only met him on the day of), they were equally as professional and knew EXACTLY what they were doing. This matters alot as it proves that Princess Wedding Studio is very big on quality control and the experience of their photographers. Another thing I love about Princess Wedding Studios is their make up artists. I had Le Le who was my M/U artist throughout my whole experience with Princess Wedding and absolutely love her. I have never seen someone so passionate about creating the perfect eye and hair and Le Le is extremely detailed in making sure her brides look perfect for all their photos. She listens intently to the bride and takes into account how the bride wants to look and feel in her photos. That is very important as listening to your client is a must and every bride has different needs. Every hairstyle I requested from her was styled to perfection (and a whole lot of bobby pins!). I will say that my bridesmaids had different M/U artists on the day of my wedding and it seems they are all pretty good which shows me they are consistent in the service they provide. All in all, I must say that I was extremely lucky to have used Princess Weddings because I have heard some major horror stories from married friends who have used other studios elsewhere. Not to mention, this place was bilingual and spoke both Chinese and English. That was important to me as my whole bridal party spoke very limited Chinese so it was nice to be able to communicate with them in English for the most part. Princess Weddings is in my opinion one of the most professional, up-to-date and has the most exceptional quality in the services they provide and I plan to continue to recommend my friends to them. Had my wedding photos taken by them 7 years ago. Louise and Fei were super nice. It was such a pleasure working with them! Fei took great photos and was very patient. 7 years later, we came back again to do baby photo shoot along with some family portraits. First I thought it was mission impossible to do it with my two boys (2 yo and 5 yo), who never cooperate when taking pictures. But Fei had so much patience with them. He played with them and made them feel comfortable. They had many cute baby outfits for my boys to change to. Fei was able to get some great shots and capture the best moments of them! As someone as picky as I am, I'm glad to have chosen Princess Wedding studio as my one stop wedding shop. For the price and quality, it was really hard to beat. I was referred by a friend who used them and after taking a look at their sample photos and videos, I no longer needed to keep looking. I worked with Louise and Angela the most and had nothing but a great experience with them. I didn't have any issues as some mentioned in their reviews. Photography was great. Our engagement and wedding day photos came out amazing. The only thing I wasn't completely satisfied with was our wedding video. It didn't really have great transitions between scenes, but I've seen other videos and they were just fine so it might be a one off thing. All in all, it was a pleasant experience! read more

Here is a quick review from a photography enthusiast. My wife and I wanted a one-stop shop for Photography, Videography, Limo Service, Make-up/Hair and Dress/Tux rental. We visited several studios in Flushing and chose Princess Wedding mainly for the photography. Fai Chen is a master photographer and has a keen eye on composition, lighting and post processing. I would also like to mention that Fai uses top of the line camera equipment (full frame DSLR's and a rich assortment of L lenses). Our videographer James Lee did an amazing job on our wedding day; fluid transitions and the most up-to-date music was used in the video. Angela, Louise and Joyie was a pleasure to work with as well. They made scheduling our photography sessions, outfit rentals and our wedding day much easier than I thought it would be. I dealt with Louise....what a sweetheart she is. This store seriously just needs her to handle the store and I can guarantee you much more customers.
