We signed up not for a full wedding package, but for just an engagement session in Central Park with our own clothes. I also opted to use their hair and makeup artist. I'm SO happy with our choice. After comparing many places, we decided to go with Princess. Their service is great; Photography skills; slideshow skills; etc Overall I'm very very pleased with the service. I absolutely love their tailoring dept girls...although they are SUPER BUSY..but they are very nice and accommodating. Given that most other places just take your money and don't really care about the service. I do have to say compare to Asia, their selection of night gown and chinese gowns are very very limited. Wedding Dresses tho are very very pretty and a lot of selection! I love how we were able to customize the package and have add-on if needed. We didn't need the slideshow but they gave us more Thank You card in exchange for that. I have been working with Princess Studios for the past year and my wedding is coming up in just a few days!!! We started working with Louise who is the owner and we could not have been more satisfied. She heard our needs and worked with us to come up with a plan for our big day. I walked in wanting to learn more about the packages. The lady I talked to (I think her name was Janet?) had really bad attitude. It was as if they didn't want your business at all. Gave me a dirty look when I told her my wedding was going to be next year in spring and we're still not sure which day. I liked their work (the photo shoots, makeup in sample pictures looked nice- but of course they will always show you the best ones so who knows how trust worthy they are). I also asked about the venue of some photo shoots and another lady (who sat next to Janet) actually started answering my questions because Janet was not giving us enough information. Also, their pricing is not cheap, and not really willing to negotiate. Any additional things were going to cost more, a lot of the Flushing studios are much more willing to negotiate. Want all the pictures (digitally), photo booth, add another pair of bridesmaid/groomsmen, have makeup finished earlier because you have an earlier ceremony, etc, everything will cost you more! And in the end when you're in a bad mood and want to leave, she whispered and said if you sign up by end of month, I will give you all the pictures and give a discount to the package. I was really annoyed already so I didn't think what they offered mattered anymore. This is what I don't get about these Chinese wedding studios, how can they not understand customer service is a major part of the purchase!! I'd rather get good service and hear about the promotions when she was explaining the packages and we'll do a fair comparison with the other studios. The dresses are ok but not many selections. And the lady that was going to help me put it on didn't even help at all!!! I only tried on two dresses and left!!! Extremely satisfied with the service I've received from Princess Wedding! We booked our contract with Louise, the owner, who is charming, well-spoken, stylish and sincere. There were many detailed questions I asked in the beginning - she was so patient and answered all of them. They offer variety of packages, all which can be customized to suit your needs, from wedding attire to transportation to photography and more. They're the best wedding package studio photographer in Flushing, capturing natural and elegant shots. For our outdoor photoshoot, there were a number of venues suggested. Ultimately I chose to go with an outdoor garden, but on the day of the photoshoot, Louise advised us that the scenery had changed making it not so perfect for photography. She suggested that we go to Central Park. I'm so glad that I listened to her, I absolutely love my pictures. It has all the elements that I wanted to reflect city life. Our photographer was soo friendly, he helped my small "crew" carry around (change of clothes, etc) stuff around the park - so hands on. He also had a long (mental) list of recommended poses to do, so us being camera-shy, this helped a lot! The makeup and attire studio is located across the street from the office. Here, a friendly crew of makeup artists, and seamstress and attire specialist gets the show running. When I first entered this studio to select my outdoor gown, I was struck by how cozy this working atmosphere is. At first, I thought perhaps the heat was turned up? These people are very helpful, and even when the place is busy during busy season, just go greet one of the employees, and they'll try to help you out somehow, they won't leave you hanging. Tip: Be vocal about what hair style and make-up you want, no body is a mind-reader. My package included a big photo frame, a leather poster (this thing is so beautiful!!), a poster for guests to sign at the wedding, photography, limo, engagement photos (indoor and outdoor) on CD, photo albums, attire rental and makeup and hair styling for my bridal party. I changed around some items on the generic package to suit my needs. Louise listened to us and made accommodations. Definitely recommend Princess Wedding to all my friends. I looked at several wedding studios for my wedding and we decided on Princess Wedding Studio because the pricing was decent and the sample pictures they showed us were really nice. The person who sold us our package, Emily, was also a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately, after we signed the contract with Emily, we did not get to work with her much. We worked with manager/Co-Owner, Louise, all the time. She is not very responsive and I had to constantly follow up with her for answers. PROS: - Our pictures did come out really nice. The albums were beautiful. They messed up on one of our enlargements, printing a picture that we did not choose, but Louise actually owned up to this one. She gave us an additional enlargement at no charge. - The hair and make-up team does an excellent job. The make up was natural looking and the make-up artists (Coco and lele) spends time to figure out what works for you. Only downside is, they speak mostly Mandarin, so hope you speak some Mandarin! CONS: - My bridesmaids dresses came 8 months after I ordered it, it came in only weeks before my wedding! I asked Louise dozens of times on the status of those dresses and she kept promising they were coming -- only they never did come when she said they would. To my horror - the dresses came in the WRONG COLOR! They were also knock-offs. They were poor imitation Mori Lee dresses that I had wanted and paid for. I was left with a few weeks to order new dresses. Louise said they would come in time, but I highly doubted that since the wrong dresses took 8 months to come. I felt helpless and we ended up having to choose different dresses. The only dresses that they had 5 of that looked decent were not the same color as our wedding color scheme. I had to make a lot of last minute changes to accommodate. It was a total nightmare. - The clothes selection was limited. There wasn't many nice gowns to choose from -- some were very tattered. I ended up buying most of my dresses elsewhere, even though the price of dress rental was included in the package that I paid them for. Had amazing results working with Princess Wedding for our wedding. We did the wedding package with exception of the videographer since we had already hired one. my husband and i were looking for a place to take our prewedding/wedding photos/ videography for our wedding ceremony (we got married back in dec already). we compared the prices around flushing. theyre pretty expensive compared to all the others places we looked. we looked at about 6 other places in flushing. i didnt get to look at their selection of dresses so i cant comment about that. my husband and i wanted to book a hummer. they're the only place that was going to charge a price difference for a fri,sat and sun. fri was +$800 from the package we chose, sat and sunday was another +$1,100-1,400 depending on which month. The other places were just another $800 no matter if it were a fri,sat or sunday.... Couples of my friends bought their package in the past and their indoor, outdoor and wedding date picture were stunning. You'll definitely get your money's worth! My Fiance and I met with BoBo, their sales rep., in January. We loved how engaging she was, and how personalized her service was. She listened to what our needs were and was very accommodating. She showed us samples of every product that they had. The touches up works were extremely impressive. Love them! She also gave detailed description of all the services and packages. She took her time to thoroughly go over all their services and ended up spending over 2 hours with us! BoBo helped us negotiate a contract. She gave us lots of professional suggestions which help us a lot. She suggested number of venues for outdoor photoshoot. Since we are in the city every day, we decided to go Planting Fields for Cherry Blossom in the 3rd week of April. The blooming time of cherry trees differs from year to year depending on the weather. If the weather during the months and weeks preceding the cherry blossom season is mild, blossoms will open early. And it happened this year. BoBo did a great job on following up; she called us at the end of March and told us the cherry blossom is booming. She highly recommended changing the outdoor photoshoot to a much earlier date to capture the booming blossoms ASAP. I had to call back couple times to check with our schedule and photographer schedule and ended up changing to 2nd week of April. She was very friendly and patient. We are so glad that she followed up. If not, we could have missed the lovely blossoms!! LeLe was my makeup artist and hairstylist for my outdoor picture. Her makeup technique was impressive. She was able to fix my uneven eyelids quickly and turned my natural small eyes into very big and stunning. My hairstyle was elegant as well. All my girls love it! I have been a bridesmaid couple times but those makeup artist usually spent lots of time keep fixing my eyelids. Lol! Even was our photographer and Frank did our MTV. We were very nervous at the beginning. Even often makes funny jokes to keep us smiling too. They are both very personable. We warmed up quickly. Even often makes funny jokes to keep us smiling too. It was very cold when we went to Oyster Bay during evening photoshoot. They are both very professional and patient trying the take the best photo shoots and video! The weather, cherry blossoms and camera angle were just perfect! Special thanks to BoBo again to catch the lovely blossoms moment for us! It's priceless!!! We will have our indoor photoshoot in Jun. I had princess wedding do the photography for my wedding and they were terrible. The reason we used them and not any other photographers was because they were incredibly cheaper. For 8 hours it was under $1500 and you pay for what you get. The pictures aren't cropped, the places they took the pictures suck, and to bet I also paid for the video which is worse. The video looks like it's from the 80's, not edited and raw for over 50 minutes. I'm not Asian and neither is my wife. We both grew up in Flushing and chose Princess Wedding because they're on Prince street. The photographer and videoographer both ate their dinner during the bride cuts the cake, bride's dance with her father and my dance with my mother. In an Asian wedding, according to Louise the manager, it goes for hours sometimes a whole day. These photographers did speak English but didn't know an American Style wedding.(Hence not being able to be found after we ate dinner) They sucked, the video sucked, the pictures sucked. Louise is nice and is a good saleswoman but the photographers and videoographers they hire all suck. In short, this yelp review maybe the only satisfaction I get. Anyway, I'm being completely upfront when I tell you the price beats everyone but you need to have an American style wedding down pack and unless it's your second marriage it's probably going to be the first wedding you've paid for so learn what an Amercian Wedding is...the steps. And grab these photographers by the ear along with the video guy if you go with him and don't go where they say, think about where you want your pictures and don't let them sit until they do everything you say! Lesson - I'm sure it's much easier for Asian people to use Princess Wedding. All of Princess Wedding's staff have Chinese or Korean as the first language, always answer the phone that way, and at your wedding you want to be able to communicate fast and quick as well as trust everyone who is partaking in the services knows what they're doing and Princess Wedding definitely does more Asian weddings by far. read more

The Princess Wedding Studio Team are so cool to work with. I have tried other Wedding Photo/Video vendors as a bridesmaid, but I would say it's Princess that impressed me the most with it comes to the Picture quality and the makeup and hair quality of my friends who were brides and chose Princess as their Photo vendor. They do offer Videography as well, but honestly I did not got a chance to see my friends' wedding videos. They did show me a sample of the videos that they had and me and my fiancé love it. I already worked with them twice already. First, for my Engagement/Pre-wedding Photo Shoot (which was only a couple of days before my friend's wedding) and the second is as one of the bridesmaid in my friend's wedding. Makeup application alone I was very impressed! They don't just use cheap makeup products. The makeup they use ranges from Giorgio Armani, Chanel, MUF, NARS, Mac, etc...They're very updated with the makeup application trends too. They really make sure also that your makeup will last all day by prepping and setting them properly. I actually didn't have to retouch my makeup except for my lipstick on both occasion. They're very good also in styling your hair and they give you tips so the curl will last all day. The photographer was very good too. He's the same guy who worked with me during my pre-wedding and my friend's wedding. You can tell that he's not only professional but also very passionate on what he do. He is also very perfectionist making sure the lighting is good, your clothing and hair is good, teaches you how to make you look better in pictures. He walks very fast but not because he wants to rush you, it's because he wants to scout the areas where we can take good pictures. He's also very nice and funny and make sure that his clients are all comfortable. He showed us the prewedding pictures and we were REALLY impress. I hope he does my wedding too. I just had my wedding about 2 months ago. Thanks to Princess Wedding Studio, I had 3 beautiful dresses that everyone loved. They were altered to fit me perfectly. The bridesmaids dresses also came out great. The seamstress was very patient in alternating the dress length. One of my bridesmaids had her alter the length about 5 times! but the seamstress did not complain and was all smiles. I was also able to request the makeup artist I wanted. Angela and Louise in the office are very nice and accommodating. They try to work out a schedule that works for you when it comes to taking the indoor/outdoor photos. And we once made appointment at a certain time, but when we arrived we have to wait another 2 hours---bad management.
