The way they schedule your fence project is their scheduling team will reach out to you when it's a few days from them having an opening. Now, this could be a week or could be two weeks as it just depends on how busy they are. However, Kyle Herling was the project manager I worked with and he was very responsive to my emails which helped a lot. Communication is key to making your customers feel satisfied! The guys on site doing the work were also very kind, shoutout Tony! He had me walkthrough the project before starting and was receptive to any feedback I had during the entirety of the process.

Fast forward to now and we're back using their services to build a massive back patio, side walkway, excavate and level for a retaining wall for which they also poured the concrete footer for (we are building the wall ourselves). A pretty big job to say the least. Our experience this time around was just as excellent if not even better than 2 yrs ago. Omar and his dad, James and the rest of the crew made quick work of the entire project. Their skills are remarkable and they all are absolute artisans in their field. We LOVE our new patio! It amazes me their "yes we can" attitude throughout the whole project. Anything we asked - without hesitation, it was "yes we can do that however you want it we'll make it happen." I was reluctant to ask about the grading/excavating as other companies shot me down on that aspect pretty quick. Not Omar and James - it was an immediate "Yes we can do that" and it was added it to the quote in hours. Pricing? Once again they beat out two other companies.... BY A LOT. I gotta say it was also great to see many familiar faces among their large work crew from two years prior - I feel like it's rare to see that these days - a sign of a great company. If you're at all hesitant to sign off on a project with Pro Quality Concrete give them a follow on Facebook - I've followed for two years now and really enjoy seeing all their projects big and small come to completion. Let them tackle your project with confidence!

Called several contractors and Clayton was by far the most honest, optimistic and committed to the scope of work required. Because there was an obvious "unknown" as to the scope of work the quote was provided in tiers that identified clear thresholds that "if" we have to do this "then" we're into this tier of expense. To my absolute amazement, he did NOT make it to the top tier. That's honesty right there! The quote itself was extremely detailed and allowed us to clearly understand the work, the expense and provided the opportunity to adjust as necessary. Clayton shared he was in the United State Marine Corps which explains the detail provided, honesty and absolutely NO nonsense approach with his crew and/or contractors. Thank you for your service Clayton! During the work Clayton stayed in constant contact keep me informed as what the plans were for the following days, who should be accessing the back yard to work on the project and when the rains came (and the rains did come) he identified in advance when the crew would not be present. Bottom line, 100% satisfaction with MRZ Contracting. Look at the reviews here in Yelp...5 stars for more than a couple dozen reviews and for a contractor never-the-less. That surely puts MRZ Contracting in elite company in the real work and when considering them for your work I would strong recommend you at least obtain a quote from them and let the chips fall where they may after that.

What truly set them apart was their superb communication. They sent us nightly text updates, which not only kept us informed every step of the way but also really helped to build our trust. Knowing what was happening each day gave us peace of mind and made the entire process easier. Another thing we really appreciated was how clean and respectful they were in our home. I'm sharing our experience with Azores Remodeling so other homeowners can make an informed…read moredecision. We hired them for two bathroom remodels. While the tile work turned out nicely, we had significant concerns about their knowledge of basic construction, plumbing, and building-code requirements. Two drains were initially installed using flexible accordion tubing and improper trap configurations. When we raised the issue, the contractor admitted they sometimes improperly install drains, stating that "usually no one cares." They initially proposed an S-trap, which is also not to code. To their credit, they ultimately corrected the plumbing at no additional cost. The framing was another major concern. Azores planned to cut through wall studs for recessed mirrors and niches without properly addressing the structural framing. The contractor admitted they were unfamiliar with the applicable building codes, and we ultimately had to properly frame two of the mirrors ourselves. We also have remaining issues we are addressing ourselves, including a shower handle that came off, a broken outlet that no longer fits properly, drywall damage around another outlet and paint around a fixture they replaced. I just did not expect to have to do this much myself. I'm not sure what value this company actually brought. Communication and oversight were also a concern. Azores was readily available during the first four weeks but became nearly nonexistent during the second four weeks, when many of these issues arose. We were also repeatedly contacted about our low-star review. We found it disappointing that so much attention was given to the review rather than ensuring the work on our home was completed correctly. I also seriously hope they will just leave us alone now. The tile looks nice, but a good finish does not make up for inadequate trade knowledge, planning, and oversight. I recommend that homeowners carefully evaluate Azores' construction expertise before hiring them.
