I tend to get 60-90 minute nail art, most found on Pinterest. The health of my nails is much better since I've been going to miGak consistently. It's my natural nails, no extensions needed. The polish and the removal do not destroy my nails like Vanity Projects and other comparable nail shops. Everyone is sweet. I book online at Vagaro. You do need to plan ahead. I usually book my appointment right after I get my manicure. I can usually go 4-5 weeks and I rarely have chipped nails.

My pedicure tech, massaged my legs and feet so well. I had a deep foot spa treatment and I was so relaxed and in love with how well they treated us. They cut my nails evenly and put in so much work to remove callus as well. They don't do acrylic here which makes the smell inside so relaxing. They use aromatherapy and even have the cutest doggy pet in their shop. He's so quiet and friendly. The owner, I believe, was just so nice. She even massaged my shoulders and neck free of charge. She was so positive and in great spirits. My feet were baby smooth, I've not had a pedicure done so well like this in forever. I chose chrome gel polish which is $10 more but she waived that fee since I didn't see it on any sign. Come here, you won't regret it. They do prefer cash tips btw.

Some of my nails were so well done and I appreciated them taking me in last minute to fix 3 broken nails, but I thought they were going to change the paint on the other nails to match the newer color. It was the weirdest experience because I had asked them to clarify and even explained this to them when I was finished. If they weren't able to match all the nails, I would have been ok just getting the pedicure. Like how are you going to send a girl with unmatched nails?

I figured I'd have time for a pedicure and maybe even a manicure too. Knowing how busy Dolphin can get, I booked it there* in the rain around 10AM and they were able to squeeze me in. My feet were in bad shape (I walk 10-15k steps/day, wear heels to the office 4 days a week and hadn't gotten a pedicure since I was in Greece... in early June) and my hands were even worse. Neither were a challenge for Abby! She did an incredible job and was maybe the most gentle nail technician I've ever encountered. I'm truly amazed that she was able to take care of my mangled cuticles and nails without any pain. And they look great. What a gem this place is! I'm going to try and make manicures a regular thing now (mayhe in tandem with my return to Yelp reviews!)
