Ok.... RUN- don't walk. This establishment here is a GEM! I loveeee the staff! They serve great pastries and have such great energy. We order A LOT from here for our corporate parties, meetings and for lunch. They have a variety of unique muffins and bagels. My favorite are the mini muffins and I can't decide between the Oreo cheesecake or the cinnamon cheesecake being my favorite. For lunch, I usually order a BLT on an asiago bagel... so freaking good, as B will always say she makes it with love!! And while you're there, please be sure to pick up an iced vanilla chai, they make it THE best!!! The bakery is always clean, tables are always ready and clean for the next customer. I'm not sure why they have a few negative reviews (which I read) and it's far from the truth. This business is women and minority owned and does so much for her clients and community, especially during the holidays! she will always have my support. This was a drive by, so on the way back from breakfast, ya not the best idea, me and friend stopped in. This place was great from bagels to muffin to refreshers. As you could guess, we were full from breakfast but I was determined because everything looked amazing. I ordered 2 different refreshers dragon fruit and watermelon both amazing even after a couple hours in my fridge. I also ordered a dozen mini muffins, to try all flavors. The ones I have partaken in were amazing. The service was nice and patient with me while I decided on what I was going to get. The place has a very welcoming atmosphere. I am surprised of the bad reviews! Maybe they were caught on a bad day... This is a small local coffee/muffin shop, hence the name, they do specialize in muffins. They do, however, serve a variety of other items such as; coffees, lattes, specialty bagels, specialty cream cheese etc. The environment was appealing walking inside. They had it decorated for Christmas and everything looked fully stocked. They have some dine in tables as well. The variety of muffins is amazing and I actually have never seen a specialty muffin shop so I thought it was very unique. They are not very expensive either. The quality of the muffins are delishhhh. They are moist and soo many flavors to choose from. I also got a vanilla cream latte, & that was pretty good too. The coffee quality is average, nothing super fancy, but still hits the spot. Genuinely a hidden gem. Cute little spot, I saw while driving home from a morning job and I'm so glad I stopped. I went in for just one muffin and ended up walking out with a 6-pack and a bagel Since l'd never been before, I had to give some of the flavors a try. I was really hoping for a lemon poppyseed, but their only lemon option was a Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake. It's actually really good, just not my thing since l'm not the biggest cheesecake fan--so it was kinda sad not to see another lemon one. I ended up getting that, plus Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion, Apple Pie Deep Dish, Cinnamon Crumb Cake, and Georgia Peach. There were soooo many options, even for bagels! I tried a little of each and they were so tasty. I just know they're gonna smack even more once I toast them at home. I ended up grabbing a Cinnamon Toast Bagel too, which was also amazing-just a little on the doughy side. I wish I had asked for it extra-toasted, but I didn't think to at the time. The person in front of me was getting read the riot act by the serve server. I have no idea what was going on, but they didn't come off as friendly. I ordered coffee and a maple walnut muffin, which sounded delicious. The execution was terrible crusty maple frosting over a lead muffin and bitter coffee. I won't visit again. This review is only based on catering. I've never actually been here or had anything else from here... I was in town for a work meeting. My client ordered lunch catering from here which consisted of wraps & salad. Even though the food tasted fresh, it also tasted like it was made with low quality ingredients. Everything was bland like it was missing seasoning. My turkey wrap had a giant chuck of mayo in the middle of it (not spread out) so that made for an unpleasant bite. Beautiful bakery! They have the fall esthetic done perfectly. As soon as you open the door you're greeted with the smell of the fresh pastries. They have a large variety of muffins to choose from. I had the chocolate cheesecake and the peanut butter explosion, both were great. Large muffins with a fluffy consistency. The muffins are a decent price for something freshly made. I loved the muffin (chocolate cheesecake) but was disappointed in the bagels. we ordered a sundries tomato bagel with hickory cheddar cream cheese and an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Best bagels and muffin's I have had in RI! I love how friendly and welcoming the staff members are even after the numerous management changes over the years you still walk in feeling like family. Their homemade bagels with cream cheese are delicious and if you are more of a sweet breakfast person their combinations of delectable muffins are endless. Can't finish an entire "jumbo" muffin? No problem! They even sell an assortment of mini muffins that are perfect for little kids or an afternoon snack. There are even special treats for the dogs in your life. I would honestly recommend anything on the menu including their coffee. Their chocolate raspberry flavor is my favorite but there are so many options in both hot and iced flavors to choose from. I have gone multiple times close to closing time and the manager has given me a bogo deal on bagels which I really appreciated. This place has probably been reviewed to the nth time but I want to add my $0.02. I will not talk of the muffins but I really think their bagel sandwiches are bomb. First of all, you start with an extensive selection of bagel varieties that they bake at their location. The ability to choose the kind of bagel that you really like, makes for 50% of the secret sauce. Then your filling, cream cheese, cheese, or egg (white or regular) of your chocie. There's a good selection to please most breakfast appetites. I happen to like the egg white and turkey bagel sandwich with tomato, switching among garlic, asiago, cheddar, or any other scrumptious sounding variety I find. There's lox, too, if that's your fancy. Now of course, the pleasing assortment of bagels is matched by the variety of cream cheese...heaven. I must say that the coffee, though, is not the best for me. Seems a bit weak for my taste but I can bring the sandwich with me and get my coffee elsewhere. After all, they do not call themselves 'my favorite coffee'. Ha. A small trade off. Worth mentioning, too, are the baked "bones" for small and large dogs so I get to bring my moochies something to enjoy, too. The owner is always attentive and helpful, as well as the staff. Please do not be cross with them early in the morning. It gets really busy and they try to whip out the favorites while getting you on your way. read more

It amazes me somewhat that after all the time this shop has been open, they have done nothing to make these bagels more delicious. They have a lot of good options as for choice of which bagel, but the bagel itself still is lacking. There is an overwhelming blah to this bagel. Additionally, the coffee is still lacking as well. I want a real coffee flavor, the beans they use, even with the variety of choices still do not make the cut. The service was good even thought it is clearly understaffed. Rhode Island has a serious lack of top notch Bagel shops. However, this is not to shabby of a spot to get your fix, if you are passing through like my girlfriend and I were. Some have called it a "gourmet shop", but I think it's a bit of a stretch. I would say it's well priced, has an above average selection of cool cream cheeses, and a great variety of fixings aside from just the Bagel and Cream Cheese. My absolute favorite is the bagels with lox which they do right here. I've never had a bad experience, the staff have always been friendly. Short story: Save your money and use it to tip the college kid working at Dunkin. You'll still spend less, your coffee will be better, and your artificial muffin will at least have some flavor. I am surprised to see so many positive reviews. I have been in three times. The first time I was assisted by the most pleasant woman who made my experience so enjoyable and welcomed me back. Despite the flavorless muffin and terrible coffee, I went back. The second time and third times I was helped by a middle aged woman with brown hair that was pulled back and she must have been having a bad day despite the early hour that it was. She was unpleasant, said "k" in response to my "thank you so much" and gave me a barely toasted bagel with hardly any cream cheese. I thought I would give the blueberry muffin another shot. It was no better with fake tasting blueberries and just a strange artificial taste. The brownie I got was flavorless and dry.
