I am OBSESSED!!!! These cheesecakes are now my favorite dessert I have ever gotten from anywhere. I'm so happy I finally got to try them and was not disappointed. I ordered them through text after messaging them on their instagram page and chef Tahira was super sweet and was able to meet up with me the next day at my job to drop off my cheesecakes! I got two banana puddings, one strawberry shortcake, one apple cobbler, and one oreo cheesecake. They blew my mind. The star of the show was the banana pudding. She also bakes the nila wafers by herself so these were amazing, creamy, and PERFECT. I feel like even if you hated bananas you'd still love this because it's so good. My second favorite was the apple cobbler! As someone who doesn't usually eat pie it definitely surprised me and it was super flavorful and melted right in my mouth. The strawberry shortcake is great for all my strawberry lovers and was definitely a perfect little shortcake. You can't go wrong with the oreo either if you still want more of a classic cheesecake with a little pop. This business is located inside of a restaurant/bar. This was confusing because there's no sign on the building or outside of the building that has the name "My Favorite Cheesecake" on it. I noticed the pop up table after entering the restaurant. After purchasing three cheesecakes, I agree that the yum is serious. The banana pudding flavor was my favorite. It's cheaper to pay with cash (3 for $20) instead of paying via the square. I will definitely return again. I recommend this business. My mother said, "This chef will always remain in business. Cheesecake (GMFC) is the real deal! I love spots like Cheesecake Factory and a few other spots around the area... honestly, the cakes GMFC is dropping puts them all to shame. Chef T and her baking concepts on cheesecake is crazy. She has nearly 200 flavors and combinations that will send you into a shock! I tried the Banana Pudding and OMGGGG I almost wanted to unpack my bed and sleep right next to the kiosk so I could eat everything she had. GMFC uses the best ingredients and everything is always fresh and chilled. Chef T is super awesome. She likes to engage with her new customers! Wow! Just, wow. I ordered two cheesecakes for a graduation party; EVERYONE at the party raved about them. The classic strawberry had the best crust I've ever tried and the turtle cheesecake was finished with a generous helping of crunchy pecans. OMG the cheesecakes from this place are amazing! I randomly came across their Instagram page Saturday and saw that they set up in the Carolina Ale House parking lot on 15-501. I drove around for a little bit and didn't find them so I texted them (919-824-0782) and they said that they normally have a trailer but it's out of service right now and told me their current location/vehicle in a nearby parking lot! They were selling 3 flavors of cheesecake that day - I ordered the banana pudding and the peach cobbler (it was 3 for $20). They were delicious!! It was like getting 2 desserts in one with the banana pudding perfectly mixed in with a perfect slice of cheesecake. Bob owns lane jewelry. He is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help the customers with their needs. I have seen him take a fine gold necklace that had so many previous lousy repairs, and was full of solder, and repair it so it was stronger and looked great when he finished. His customers are loyal because he cares about the customers needs. He is over generous about his prices. His customers definitely trust him. He fixed a 1929 20 year service award medallion of my Grandfather's that was crusty and looked like it had been buried for 10 years. When he finished it looked really great. Someone else would had charged me a fortune but he was so fair I gave him an extra $25. Lane is the only jewelry store I use. I recommend them highly and you will not be disappointed. Until we happened across this little gem in the South Square, Durham parking lot, I would have told you unequivocally that I am not a cheesecake fan. I always found it sort of cloying and heavy, and would only choose it if there was absolutely no other dessert to be had. My Favorite Cheesecake changed my mind today. My husband and I were on our way to price something in the office store and saw MFC as we passed - it was sort of in the middle of the afternoon and cold, but they didn't seem to have a problem drawing people. I said I wasn't all that into cheesecake, but we like to support local Black-owned businesses, so maybe we should give it a shot. We got the Peach Cobbler and Key Lime cheesecakes, and wow. They were so good, we had to drive back by and let them know that I didn't think I liked cheesecake before, but they lived up to the name. After reading these reviews, I HAVE to come back and try the banana pudding one (my husband is hoping for a sweet potato one to be on the menu next time). OMG!!!! Was in Southpoint Mall and stopped by Guyon's. Until now, my fave was at Cheesecake Factory. I had the banana pudding. As a good friend would say, " I was in heaven!". The flavor of the banana pudding was though grandma made it the old fashion way , mind you.. I couldn't even think about the cheesecake but when I did. It was delicious - it was so light and not too sweet.I've never tasted a cheesecake like it. I've even had a Juniors in NYC. I had to pick up another one and try not to eat it .
