It was too cold to sit outside so it was packed inside. While waiting, a two-top opened up so we got it. For a small space, we were surprised by the variety of baked offerings. Even Dough was wonderful! I emailed her the Tuesday before Thanksgiving about a cake for the following Monday and she was incredibly responsive. I sent her inspiration pictures and she nailed it. It was reasonably priced (originally 80 and then I added more words so the total was 90). I don't love chocolate cake so I don't think it's fair I review the taste but it was very good and everyone raved about the cake and cookies and cream buttercream. The food was excellent , the outdoor seating pleasant but the ordering process on a busy day was chaotic. The line flow wasn't orderly , the one cashier was overwhelmed and as a result remarkably rude to my family . I am not sure why we stayed and completed our rather large and expensive order . I hope the business eventually has ceramic plates as the goods are too expensive , too nice to serve on paper plates . I recently ordered the key lime pie for my mother's birthday and the exact quote from the first bite was, "OMG, this is absolutely DEVINE!!!" The website is fantastic. Super easy to order and customize and the photos are unbelievable. Meital has done an amazing job in bringing this store and her gift to Carrboro. The customer service is unparalleled.
