First time ever coming to my dr now. I had to schedule a last minute sports physical for my 17yo. I scheduled online for 11:25 and didn't get into a room until 11:57. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the very first greeting the Medical assistant was very rude and seemed drawn back because I followed with my daughter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She immediately told us that our sports physical form wasn't filled out properly without actually looking at them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Told us that we HAD to fill out the student with disabilities form even after we told her that she doesn't have a disability.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then when she proceeded to put us into our room, she didn't even say anything just sent us in the room and closed the door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once the doctor arrived. The only thing my daughter did was touch her head knees and toes. One of the worst sports physical I've witnessed with my children. This location is awful last time for me ! I had gone into the clinic a couple days ago due to ear pain. They attempted to perform an ear wax removal, but were unable to remove anything. I was told to return after using softening drops for a couple days and they will redo it. I was also told the service would be free since they were unable to perform it and it was paid for. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After a couple days, I called the My Dr Now phone number just to confirm that it would still be free and I received a voicemail confirming that it was and it is notated in my file.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I book an appointment for the next day and come in only to be told I would have to pay again. I explained the situation to the receptionist who said "they must not be trained well".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I even showed her the voicemail I received. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked to speak to a manager, and the receptionist told me there was no manager on site. I said that she can have the manager call me then and I can sit down and wait. All of a sudden, there's a manager on site! So the receptionist just straight up lied.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While waiting for the manager, I called customer service again who once again confirmed that the service was free and it is notated in my file to provide the service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The manager then came out and was extremely rude right off the bat. She said they "absolutely cannot" do the service for free.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When [[HIGHLIGHT]]I told her I just spoke to them and they confirmed that it is in my file, the manager said she spoke to them too and they said it was not free. I told her I highly doubt that as I have talked to multiple people at this point, to which the manager then switches it up and said it would have been free if I had gone prior to 24 hours after my last appointment, which does not make any sense because I was told to wait multiple days before returning for the follow up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]After getting nowhere with this manager, I left and called customer service once again. At this point, they transferred me to a billing specialist who once again confirmed that all this was notated in my file and that the clinic was supposed to do the follow up for free.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The billing specialist urged me to go back and try again and told me that it was not up to that manager in the first place, which I will try again, but I will be going to a different location for sure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyways, super weird experience! I don't have health insurance and I lost my job recently, so paying for a second visit just isn't possible for me, which is why they reassured me that I wouldn't have to. I was in the office last night. Traci medical assistant called me in took my blood with out wipe it it first with an alcohol wipe. Then she did a EKG did not give me a gown to conduct the EKG. I asked she said no need for one. Then she walked out of the room while I was putting on my blouse and bra. I don't know how to feel discriminated for my race, age or being female. I got my physical and made sure that my medications were on the right schedule. I normally do telehealth but this specific visit required an in person appointment. Office at 35th Ave and Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix. Walk into the waiting area and it is clean and reception is nice. Go into triage where you get vitals taken, weight, and go over meds, the assistant is nice. Get put into a room. Wait for 30-60 minutes AFTER appointment time even though you may be the only patient in the office. Whatever you do, DO NOT have Medical Assistant Paul Hilmo attend to you!!! Especially if you are female!!!! Talk about gaslighting!!! Thinks he knows more about a woman's body or women's health than the woman does!!! Thinks he knows about nutrition and weight loss when he is fat!!! I read the after visit notes. They say that nose, ears, throat, eyes, etc., are clear but he LIES. He NEVER does a physical check of anything. All he does is type away on his laptop and calls you difficult if you question his methods or advice or tell him what REAL doctors say about whatever conditions you may have. You tell him you have done research on your conditions and tell/show how him the results, and he will laugh and tell you it is wrong even if you research results come from the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, or Harvard Health. If you value your health and your sanity, stay away from Paul Hilmo!!!!!! He is NOT a REAL Dr., nor should he be considered a "healthcare provider." He cares NOTHING about your health!!! read more

I thought I could smell alcohol on her breath, and she definitely seemed out of sorts (stumbling a bit and chaotic, or all over the place in the way she spoke). I don't know how she still has a position at this location (In Phoenix, off of Bell and Tatum), but something needs to change. read more

I opened the door to see what's taking so long finally the assistant comes in to draw my blood says I don't need to see a doctor. I don't understand why the doctor just didn't put in the order the first time I went. The doctor said the office manager told him not to come into the room or I'll be charged even though I was told I needed to see a doctor and the doctor I saw the previous day was sitting at the counter the whole time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one tried to help resolve this or get me taken care of no one apologized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I looked at my post appointment notes and it says they checked my nose, throat, ears and chest and they did none of that. I was able to walk in and obtain treatment for a deep, subcutaneous skin tear. care which I needed immediately due to risk of infection. I was given total treatment, including antibiotics, was scheduled for frequent, convenient follow up treatments and a referral to a wound clinic for a final follow up. I am so Over this place!! I initially liked their business model but it's gotten so bad it's just not worth it anymore. So many issues but ill give you the most recent: I had one of 3 kidney lab tests come back a little off and they immediately diagnosed me with stage 2 kidney failure despite the following set coming back fine. Now it's on my medical record and despite requests to remove it, it's still there. I get out of hospital and need my medication refilled and a referral made. Referral gets done without a hitch but medication refill doesn't. So my pharmacy sends a request. A week goes by and no response. I called and asked abiut it and apparently the doc who I met with isnow on vacation and they want me to make another appointment, pay another copay in order to get it??? No way.....moving on. read more

RUN...don't walk away from this filthy, hidiously incompetent and grossly dishonest hell hole!!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone was just hanging out in the center area gabbing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked if I could get a urine cup, as I just needed to do labs for meds for a bladder infection. The heavy set female Dr I saw seemed totally clueless as to why I was there, and told her I had a bladder infection. A while later I started getting bills for $171.00. I called them to advise them that there was a mistake, and they need to bill my insurance, not me! Long/short? They kept sending me bills, so I finally called the number on the bill to get them up to speed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The account manager was as clueless and grossly incompetent as the rest. I asked why they were billing me instead of submitting it to my insurance. She tells me that I was being billed directly "because of a co-pay issue" ...I DON'T HAVE A CO-PAY!!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She couldn't seem to wrap her brain around that, and I repeated it over and over, NO CO-PAY!! I told these moron to do their job, submit billing to my insurance co, and don't contact me ever again! I am STILL being hassled by these incompetent idiots, and it's been over 3 YEARS!!! I have no clue why they didnt submit to my insurance, but the issue is on THEIR END, not mine!! I made an appointment for 4PM I did not even get called back until 5:07PM and found out it is because there were 5 people that walked in and they all got to go in before me and I had an APPOINTMENT!!!! Might as well just walk in.. next time you obviously get priority. Also the doctor didn't even help me situation and asked what I wanted to do about the problem as if SHES NOT THE DOCTOR. She literally walked in and walked out within 2 minutes. She probably had more walk ins that she needed to prioritize. I called the front desk to try to get a quote on how much I'll be paying BEFORE getting to the location and the appointment department lady kept hanging up on me or telling me they don't do that. When every other doctor I've been to let's me know if I'll be paying a co-pay or more. Moral of the story save your time and energy for a different place that actually VALUES their patients. read more

Doctor's office closed? Where do you go? My Doctor Now! Called and made same day appointment with Doc Carolyn...she is my FAVORITE! I have seen her a couple times and I love her amazing bedside manner. She takes her time chatting with you while she figured out the best treatment for my broken body! I appreciate the fact she LISTENS to you and when you explain what works she listens! I am 62 and know what works and what wastes my time and some doctors think they still know best but both Doc Carolyn and Doc Reddy I have found listen to you and your body too! I highly recommend this AMAZING place! Lauren at the front desk got me in quickly, I was taken back fast, treated with kindness and out the door scripts waiting at CVS! The medical assistant who invited me from lobby to back office told me I was not allowed to refuse to be weighed, even though weight is not a vital sign. I had also been weighed a week prior, and your scale, reading a weight higher than mine, caused me great distress. (I am maximum weight of 110 lbs. at home.) The medical assistant was quite rude. Fortunately, she switched and had another medical assistant complete her tasks with me (vital signs.) I usually speak up with kudos, not complaints. He doesn't care about his patients concerns or request. Initially, I had a great experience with this office and I STILL love the providers, but the administration of this business stinks to high heavens. It take 40minutes on the phone to actually speak to a human and when you do finally connect, you get conflicting answers to your questions. I needed some paperwork sent to another doc (surgeon), called 4x and my surgeon called 2x and finally had to make an appointment to see the doc, request the paperwork and hand carry the paperwork to my surgeon. The doc at this practice said he asked for it to be sent and doesn't know why that wasn't done by office staff.... AND THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST OFFICE ISSUE! I can chalk it up once to an accident, but multiple times leads me to conclude this is just how they operate. Very frustrating when you find a practitioner you like but can't navigate through the mismanaged office staff to get your health taken care of. I'm hoping my doctor decides to find a more organized office elsewhere, because I'm not going back to this place. read more

I went here for concerns about an ongoing nose bleed. When I showed up, I was handed an iPad that was not sanitized before or after my use in a doctors office in the middle of a pandemic. Not a single person was wearing a mask or gloves as well. Once I got pulled back I was asked some usual questions (and some stupid questions such as "is vaping bad for your lungs) by the doctor and/or the nurse. Then the doctor began looking up my nose and touching my face without gloves on her hands again in the middle of a pandemic. I should have spoken out at the time but honestly was a little bit shaken up and at a loss for words. Then the doctor decided I needed blood drawn. After about a vial and a half of blood came out the nurse lost my vein and I got very light headed and started blacking out. The nurse ran to get the doctor and the doctor handed me a glass of water then I was left in the room passing out for what felt like 20 minutes (it's hard to gauge the time while passing out obviously). I woke up in the room alone dripping in sweat. The doctor came back in and told me it's fine I can come back another day and asked if I drove there but then let me leave as if nothing happened. I would never go back to this place and would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Normally I don't have an issue with my doctor now they usually get me in same-day appointments and when I'm seen I maybe have to wait an hour or less. Well today was ridiculous. I was on my lunch break from work and got there on time. I taken back and sat in the room for an hour and 45 minutes before I was seen. I understand that things happen & today the doctor I was supposed to see called in sick so they had someone filling in but I was told when I got checked in that was he was really slow and taking a long time. I didn't think it was going to be that long. When I finally was seen he said that his schedule was pushed back because of walkins. She has amazing customer service and really helped calm me down when I had to get blood taken. I am terrified of needles and she made me so at ease. It didn't hurt at all!!! Yelp has become full of negative Nancy's 1-starring everything when things don't go their way right away. Look, they're not perfect, but what doctor office ever is? My PCP is the best doc I've ever had in over four decades as an adult - very proactive. I'll follow her to the moon. MyDrNow corporate referrals center was hit or miss, but gotten much better, lately after an overhaul of that department. They're open 7 days a week for walk-ins 8 to 8. Where else besides an ER can you find THAT? Their check-in is fast & easy via iPads. Walk-in wait times vary, but very rarely go up to an hour unless flu season. Typically, walk-ins are about 20-40 minutes, but sometimes, almost none at all. Try that in an ER - hours there. I wait much longer than that with other doctoral or even specialist appointments. Lots of comfy seating. Best kept secret in private family medicine. ‍LGBTQ+ friendly! Overall, I give them a B+ read more

I call and they did our appointments for the four of us. We drove 44 mins from home also we waited 40 mins to be seen.
